Retroperitoneal liposarcoma is a rare malignant tumour with an incidence of 2.5 per million people annually. It is the most common type of all the retroperitoneal malignant tumours. Early diagnosis of the tumour is difficult because of absence of specific clinical presentation. Symptoms would only occur if the tumour exhibits pressure on the surrounding organs. It usually occurs between the fourth to sixth decades of life affecting both genders equally. Histological subtypes include: well-differentiated, poorly differentiated, myxoid, round cell and pleomorphic. Radiological imaging useful in diagnosis include: ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Complete surgical resection of the tumour and the adjacent viscera involved or organs remained the mainstay of treatment. Radiotherapy plays a role in reducing the risk of recurrence but its effect on the overall survival of patients is not known. The case presented is a 48-year-old male patient with retroperitoneal liposarcoma, treated by complete surgical resection of the tumour and right hemicolectomy and currently on follow-up for possible recurrence.

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a member of the Flaviviridae family and causes acute and chronic hepatitis. Chronic HCV infection may result in severe liver damage including liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The liver is the primary target organ of HCV, and the hepatocyte is its primary target cell. Attachment of the virus to the cell surface followed by viral entry is the first step in a cascade of interactions between the virus and the target cell that is required for successful entry into the cell and initiation of infection. This step is an important determinant of tissue tropism and pathogenesis; it thus represents a major target for antiviral host cell responses, such as antibody-mediated virus neutralization. Following the development of novel cell culture models for HCV infection our understanding of the HCV entry process and mechanisms of virus neutralization has been markedly advanced. In this review we summarize recent developments in the molecular biology of viral entry and its impact on pathogenesis of HCV infection, development of novel preventive and therapeutic antiviral strategies.

目的应用健康信念模型(HBM),对在华留学生的新冠疫苗犹豫行为及其影响路径进行调查,为疫苗接种干预提供理论基础。方法2021年4月,采用整群随机抽样法,选取江苏省7所高校中14个班级的在华留学生330人,采用HBM量表和疫苗犹豫量表,通过线上形式进行问卷调查。应用结构方程模型探究新冠疫苗接种犹豫的影响因素。结果HBM量表中的感知障碍(β=0.377,P<0.001)与疫苗犹豫呈现正相关关系,感知益处(β=-0.211,P=0.001)和行动线索(β=-0.522,P<0.001)与疫苗犹豫呈现负相关关系。性别对严重性感知(diff β=-0.281,P=0.016)和行动线索(diff β=0.306,P=0.007)与疫苗犹豫的关系有调节作用,男性受到严重性认知的影响,女性比男性更容易受到行动线索的影响。结论增加益处感知、减少障碍感知和加强行动线索感知,对减少疫苗犹豫有重要作用,同时建议考虑性别差异。

目的探讨应用计算机进行糖尿病足病患者个性化鞋具设计的步骤与初步结果,并进行修正以适应参与研究患者的情况.方法筛选糖尿病足病患者58例,依据英国Safford大学的方法,测定足部10组相关数据.将此数据进行计算机分析,依据英方已有的公式与计算方法,获得患者各自鞋具不同部位的尺寸,进而整合成个性化鞋具.患者试穿鞋具13个月,以特定足部健康评分表随访患者对于个性化鞋具的评价.结果共58例糖尿病足病受试者,试穿1个月后共随访到有效样本32例,试穿2个月后为25例,试穿3个月后为25例,试穿13个月后为42例.使用糖尿病鞋具前足部健康评分为（67.94±15.14）分,1个月后为（76.55±12.46）分,2个月后为（77.66±13.45）分,3个月后为（77.14±12.56）分,13个月后为（78.13±1.44）分.受试者在使用鞋具后足部健康评分改善,且差异有统计学意义.结论作为预防糖尿病足病溃疡发生、改善患者生活状态的一种方式,个体化鞋具有一定的价值.英方的计算方式与模型数据转化公式在应用于受试的中国患者时须进行一定的修正.

Since 2009 a network of VLF (20 - 60 kHz) and LF (150 - 300 kHz) radio receivers is operating in Europe in order to study the disturbances produced by the earthquakes on the propagation of these signals. In 2011 the network was formed by nine receivers, of which three are located in Italy and one is in Austria, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Russia and Turkey. On May 19, 2001 an earthquake (Mw = 5.7) occurred in western Turkey, that is inside the “sensitive” area of the network. The radio data collected during April-May 2011 were studied using the Wavelet spectra, the Principal Component Analysis and the Standard Deviation trends as different methods of analysis. Evident anomalies were revealed both in the signals broadcasted by the TRT transmitter (180 kHz) located near Ankara and in a VLF signal coming from a transmitter located in Western Europe and collected by the receiver TUR of the network located in eastern Turkey. Evident precursor phases were pointed out. Some differences in the efficiency of the three analysis methods were revealed.

We reported a case of a 30-year-old man who reportedly sustained electrical burns and fell from a high voltage electric pole about 50 meter high onto a metal that caused impalement injury. In addition, he sustained full-thickness burns of the right upper limb (7%), the right hemithorax, the perineum (sparing the penis), the anterior abdominal wall and the lateral aspect of both thighs. There was 43% burned surface area in total. Radiographic examination revealed a slender curved object extending from his perineum into the pelvis. The management of this case was a challenging one which was described in this article.
