Vast magnetospheric regions are mapped along the field lines to the narrow latitudinal band of the polar/auroral regions. Therefore monitoring of solar wind energy dissipation into the ionosphere at auroral latitudes gives unique opportunities to study geomagnetic disturbances in their complexity from a relatively well-localized vantage point. Here we introduce and present the current state of a recently proposed science project for coordinated monitoring of high-latitude activity with the EISCAT (European Incoherent Scatter) radar array supported by ground-based magnetometer and optical data and ENA (Energetic Neutral Atom) observation from the CINEMA (Cube-Sat for Ions, Neutrals, Electrons and Magnetic field) satellite system.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has challenged different development sectors,including *** this article,two main analyses are provided:one on the biological hazards of the pandemic in the context of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015−2030,which analyzes the overall impacts on the education *** we discuss the overall impact on education sectors,with specific focus on disaster risk reduction(DRR)education and education for sustainable development(ESD).Disaster risk reduction education and ESD are analyzed from the perspective of school-community-family *** case analysis of COVID-19 response in the education sector is presented from Omuta City,Japan,which is considered as a champion city for *** phases of response in Omuta City are characterized with three specific foci:(1)mitigating covid impacts on educational program and participants;(2)preventing exacerbation of covid transmission within and outside schools;and(3)maintaining educational program integrity despite *** lessons are summarized in the concluding section,which explore the importance of(1)educational governance(on critical decision making)during the pandemic as well as with cascading risks;(2)enhancement of school-community-family linkages as pandemic response commonalities between ESD and DRR education;(3)risk communication and citizen behavior;and(4)use of *** argue that integration of health and DRR education is important,that resilience needs to be redefined in terms of sustainable development goals(SDGs),and that education plays a vital role in achieving these ends.

The concentrations of platinum-group elements （PGE） have been analyzed in primary magmatic magnetite samples from the Zhireken, Shakhtama and Aksug porphyry Cu-Mo deposits （Siberia, Russia） by laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry to determine the range of PGE contents in magnetites and to check whether magnetite from two main rock suites （barren plutonic suite and mineralized porphyry suite） has distinct PGE composition. The results presented here indicate that magnetites are enriched in PGE relative to whole-rocks. Comparison of ore-related porphyry and barren plutonic suites shows that magnetite exhibit relatively similar PGE distribution patterns in both suites. Variations in Rh and Ru contents were controlled by the oxygen fugacity during magma crystallization.

Developmental programming of the fetus has consequences for physiologic responses in the offspring as an adult and, more recently, is implicated in the expression of altered phenotypes of future generations. Some phenotypes, such as fertility, bone strength, and adiposity are highly relevant to food animal production and in utero factors that impinge on those traits are vital to understand. A key systemic regulatory hormone is growth hormone （GH）, which has a developmental role in virtually all tissues and organs. This review catalogs the impact of GH on tissue programming and how perturbations early in development influence GH function.

The present studies were conducted to isolate, select, identify and characterize gut bacteria as antimicrobial and growth promoting agent for the feed of economically important fish Cirrhinus mrigala. Intestinal microflora were isolated, counted, and identified, and their in vitro antibacterial properties were determined. The results have revealed that occurrence of Gram-negative rods was around 75% and of Gram-positive rods was 25%. Among the isolates Gram-positive were maintained in nutrient agar slants at 4℃. Of these, eight strains were replica-plated on agar seeded with Aeromonas hydrophila and only one strain CM2（C. mrigala 2） exhibited antibacterial properties in vitro showing inhibition against fish pathogen by well diffusion assay. This isolated strain was identified as Bacillus cereus. This bacterium was mass cultured and incorporated in the pelleted diet（40% protein and 18 k J g^–1 gross energy） of C. mrigala to investigate its effect on growth performance, digestibility, nutrient retention and activities of digestive enzymes. The results of feeding trial revealed significantly（P〈0.05） high growth performance in terms of specific growth rate, growth percent gain in body weight（BD）（272.4±1.5）%, high apparent protein digestibility（（79.9±0.30）%） and low food conversion ratio in the group of fishes fed on diet containing B. cereus in comparison to the fishes fed on diet without probiotics. The carcass composition also revealed high accumulation of proteins（（15.28±0.15） g 100 g^–1） in fishes fed on diet containing probiotics. Intestinal enzyme activities of protease, amylase and cellulase were also significantly（P〈0.05） high in the group of fishes fed on diet supplemented with probiotics indicating the extracellular enzyme production by B. cereus. These results indicate that probiotics stimulate the digestion through the supply of digestive enzyme and certain essential nutrients to animals. Fog computing is an emergent and powerful computing paradigm to serve latency-sensitive applications by executing internet of things(IoT)appli-cations in the proximity of the *** computing offers computational and storage services between cloud and terminal ***,an efficient resource allocation to execute the IoT applications in a fog environment is still challenging due to limited resource availability and low delay requirement of services.A large number of heterogeneous shareable resources makes fog computing a complex *** the sight of these issues,this paper has proposed an efficient levy flight firefly-based resource allocation *** levy flight algorithm is a metaheuristic *** offers high efficiency and success rate because of its longer step length and fast convergence ***,it treats global optimization problems more efficiently and naturally.A system framework for fog computing is presented,followed by the proposed resource allocation scheme in the fog computing *** evaluation and comparison with the firefly algorithm(FA),particle swarm optimization(PSO),genetic algorithm(GA)and hybrid algorithm using GA and PSO(GAPSO)have been conducted to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed *** results show that the proposed algorithm performs efficient resource allocation and improves the quality of service(QoS).The proposed algorithm reduces average waiting time,average execution time,average turnaround time,processing cost and energy consumption and increases resource utilization and task success rate compared to FA,GAPSO,PSO and GA.

Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+:Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors, synthesized by chemical co-precipitation technique were characterized through XRD,FESEM,dynamic light scattering(DLS),diffuse reflectance, photoluminescence, photometric and decay time analysis. The enhancement of about～28, ～149 and ～351 times in the green upconversion emission band is observed for the optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+ and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors in comparison to the singly Er^(3+) doped nanophosphors. The electric dipole-dipole interaction is found to be responsible for the concentration quenching. The temperature dependent behaviour of the two green thermally coupled levels of the Er^(3+) ions based on the fluorescence intensity ratio technique was studied. The maximum sensor sensitivity ～38.7 × 10^(-3) K^(-1) at 473 K for optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+) codoped Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors is reported with maximum population redistribution ability～88% among the ~2H_(11/2) and ~4S_(3/2) levels.

Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a heterogeneous group of chronic diseases with a rising prevalence in the pediatric population,and up to 25%of IBD patients are diagnosed before 18 years of *** with IBD tend to have more severe and extensive disease and eventually require graduation from pediatric care toadult *** transition of patients from pediatric to adult gastroenterologists requires careful preparation and coordination,with involvement of all key players to ensure proper collaboration of care and avoid interruption in *** can be challenging and associated with gaps in delivery of *** pediatric and adult health paradigms have inherent differences between health care models,as well as health care priorities in *** readiness of the young adult also influences this transition of care,with often times other overlaps in life events,such as school,financial independence and moving away from *** patients are therefore at higher risk for poorer clinical disease *** aim of this paper is to review concepts pertinent to transition of care of young adults with IBD to adult care,and provides resources appropriate for an IBD pediatric to adult transition of care model.
