In this letter,we commented on the article by Wu et *** examined the interactions between mesenteric adipose tissue,creeping fat,and gut microbiota in Crohn’s disease(CD),a condition marked by chronic gastrointestinal inflammation with a rising global *** pathogenesis of CD involves complex genetic,environmental,and microbial ***,which is an imbalance in gut microbial communities,is frequently observed in CD patients,highlighting the pivotal role of the gut microbiota in disease progression and the inflammatory *** studies have shown that mesenteric adipose tissue and creeping fat actively contribute to inflammation by producing proinflammatory *** relationship between creeping fat and altered microbiota can shift from a potentially protective role to one that encourages bacterial translocation,further complicating disease *** research has suggested that fecal microbiota transplantation could help restore microbial balance,offering a promising therapeutic strategy to improve clinical disease response.

Collision tumors of adenocarcinoma and MALT (Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue) lymphoma are often rare findings of resection specimens of gastric carcinomas. The fact that these two histological lesions are contiguous may suggest a common oncogene. As it is widely known, Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) plays a leading role in gastric oncogenesis. Could it be responsible for these tumors? As of today, the exact mechanism is still unclear. However, some histological findings may suggest that H. pylori promotes the formation of MALT lymphoma which increases the risk of carcinomatous changes. Prognosis of collision tumors is tightly linked to the carcinoma lesion, which is generally poor due to diagnostic delay. Large scale strategies to eradicate H. pylori and detect early lesions could reduce the mortality of this disease.

To increase the output efficiency of a photo- voltaic （PV） system, it is important to apply an efficient maximum power point tracking （MPPT） technique. This paper describes the analysis, the design and the experi- mental implementation of the tracking methods for a stand- alone PV system, using two approaches. The first one is the constant voltage （CV） MPPT method based on the optimum voltage, which was deduced experimentally, and considered as a reference value to extract the optimum power. The second one is the increment conductance （Inc- Cond） MPPT method based on the calculation of the power derivative extracted by the installation. The output controller can adjust the duty ratio to the optimum value. This optimum duty ratio is the input of a DC/DC boost converter which feeds a set of Moto-pump via a DC/AC inverter. This paper presents the details of the two approaches implemented, based on the system perfor- mance characteristics. Contributions are made in several aspects of the system, including converter design, system simulation, controller programming, and experimental setup. The MPPT control algorithms implemented extract the maximum power point （MPP）, with satisfactory performance and without steady-state oscillation. MATLAB/Simulink and dSpace DSll04 are used to conduct studies and implement algorithms. The two proposed methods have been validated by implementing the performance of the PV pumping systems installed on the roof of the research laboratory in INSAT Tunisia. Experimental results verify the feasibility and the improved functionality of the system.

This paper presents modeling and control of a photovoltaie generator （PVG） connected to the grid. The parameters of the PVG have been identified in previous work （series and parallel resistance, reverse saturation current and thermal voltage） using Newton-Raphston and the gradient algorithm. The electrical energy from a PVG is transferred to the grid via two static converters （DC/DC and DC/AC）. The objective of the proposed control strategy is to maximize energy captured from the PVG. The adapted control law for extracting maximum power from the PVG is based on the incremental conductance algorithm. The developed algorithm has the capability of searching the maximum photovoltaic power under variable irradiation and temperature. To control the DC/AC inverter, an intelligent system based on two structures is constructed： a current source control structure and a voltage source control structure. The system has been validated by numerical simulation using data obtained from the PVG installed in the laboratory research （INSAT, Tunisia）.

Development of cork oak (Quercus suber L.) seedlings in response to tree shelters and mulching in northwestern Tunisia

The need for reforestation in cork oak （Quercus suber L.） areas is challenged by difficulties. Principal among these is herbivory of young plants, vegetative competition, and slow growth rates of cork oak seedlings. We evaluated the early development of cork oak seedlings treated using tree shelters and mulching in northwestern Tunisia. We tested three tree shelter treatments （non-vented, vented, and control） to shield seedlings from animal damage and five mulch types to control competing vegetation （Italian Stone Pine, Lentisk, combination of Italian Stone Pine and Lentisk （organic mulches）, gravel （inorganic mulch） and no mulch）. At the end of the two-year experiment, sheltered seedlings were 89-99% taller than unshelteredseedlings and had higher numbers and lengths of shoot growth flushes. In contrast, both stem diameter growth and dry weight biomass （from samples extracted after two years） were significantly reduced inside tree shelters. Root-to-shoot ratio was not significantly different in sheltered vs. unsheltered seedlings, suggesting that tree shelters do not adversely affect this parameter. Mulching alone did not favour growth, but could be beneficial when combined with tree shelters. The combination of vented tree shelters and gravel mulch was the most effective treatment for promoting diameter, height and stem volume growth.

Over the past few years, Cu-based materials have been intensively studied focusing on their structural and thermoelectric properties. In this work, copper sulphide powders were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The chemical composition and the morphological properties of the obtained samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. It is shown that the decomposition from one phase to another can be obtained by annealing. The electrical resistivity and the crystallite size were found to be strongly affected by the phase transition. Thermoelectric analyses showed that the digenite phase exhibits the highest power factor at room temperature. The Seebeck coefficient of the compound Cu1.8S shows a pronounced peak at the γ-β transition temperature. This behavior was statistically explained in terms of a dramatic increase in the disorder in the atoms-carriers ensemble.

In recent years, the anthropic action on scrubs in the region of Tlemcen (a province in western Algeria) has represented a threat to the groups of Chamaerops humilis L. (Arecaceae). The main purpose of the present investigation is to highlight the relationship between Chamaerops humilis and its biotope. Taking advantage of the refurbishment works in the study area, clumps of Chamaerops humilis, freshly dug by machinery, were collected and used to conduct some measurements. A total of 34 clusters were considered. The main parameters to be studied are: 1. The height of the tangle of roots and the number of roots in each cluster;2. The weight of soil trapped between roots;3. Physico-chemical properties of soil in which taxa grow. The results obtained showed that the average weight of soil retained by the clumps was important (70.3 kg);the average height of the tangle was 68.4 cm and the average number of roots was 382. The tangle of roots, of various stocks of Chamaerops humilis, creates a root network, very tangled in its upper part, thereby trapping a significant amount of soil. The statistical analyses of pairs of parameters, considered in the present work (height of the tangle, mass of soil trapped by roots and number of roots), were found to be highly correlated. These analyses allowed identifying the relationships existing between the studied parameters. They also helped to deduce the role of the taxon in the in situ conservation of edaphic potential.

Introduction:Necrotising otitis externa(NOE)is a rare infection of the ear canal with frequent bone *** study’s objective is to describe the different features of NOE as well as its management in an ear-nose-throat *** also tried to identify the particularities of the fungal *** and methods:It is an observational cohort that included all the patients hospitalised for the management of *** study was carried out in the ear-nose-throat Department of Mahdia University Hospital in Tunisia between January 2006 and december ***:A total of 40 patients were *** mean age was 65±12.9 years and the sex ratio was *** percent of the patients included were *** most common signs found were oedema of the external canal(97.5%)and auricular discharge(92.5%).The main pathogen isolated was Pseudomonas aeruginosa(61.7%).Fungi were isolated in 9 cases(26.47%).Computed tomography was performed for 32 patients(80%).Bone erosion was seen in 26 cases(81.3%).The main complications were cerebral venous thrombosis,retropharyngeal abscess and cerebral *** one patients received only antibiotics,2 received only antifungal treatment,and 7 received both antibiotics and antifungal *** patients had a favorable *** analysis showed a higher median erythrocyte sedimentation rate was associated with fungal *** other differences were ***:Our management protocol seems to be efficient since all patients had initial favorable outcome.A higher median erythrocyte sedimentation rate was associated with fungal infections.
