This study reports the results of a finite element simulation of powder mixed electric discharge machining process for H11 Hot Die steel material using relevant boundary conditions and reasonable *** crater shape was developed using simulated temperature profiles to estimate the volume removed in a single *** temperature distribution on the workpiece was used to predict the cooling rate and calculate the stresses generated due to thermal ***,the simulation results were experimentally validated by physically measuring the crater shape and *** the results it was concluded that about 25%of heat is transmitted to the workpiece during machining at the process conditions used in the *** microscopic pictures showed bigger craters with increase in *** machined surface showed overlapping craters with surface cracks suggesting a high cooling rate.

An exact and fast analytic method based on power series is established to predict the modal field distributions, Petermann-2 spot size, the normalized propagation constant corresponding to fundamental and first higher order mode in graded index fibers with any arbitrary power law profile. The variation of normalized cut-off frequencies of some LPlm modes in graded index fibers with different profile exponents are also shown here and an empirical relation between them is determined.

Powder mixed electric discharge machining(PMEDM)is one of the modern developments in electric discharge machining(EDM)*** the present work,finite element modeling has been carried out considering randomly oriented multiple sparks during *** thermal analysis is done to obtain temperature distribution,volume removal,and proportion of volume removed by melting and evaporation at different current,pulse on time and fraction of heat that enters to work *** growing spark behavior and Gaussian distribution of heat source is used to simulate multiple *** distribution along radial direction shows peak temperature at center of spark and thereafter a gradual decrease with increase in radial *** depth direction temperature sharply decreases that forms wider craters with shallow depth in *** temperature and volume removal increases with current more *** removal by melting is much higher than evaporation at lower current settings and with higher current almost equal amount of material is removed by melting and evaporation thus reducing the re-solidification of melted *** plays a significant role behind the contribution of material removal by evaporation followed by fraction of *** in pulse on duration increases the total volume of material removal however does not significantly increase the proportion of volume removal by vaporization.

在实验室条件下,对食叶害虫黄钩尺蛾Hyposidra infixaria Walker在4个茶树Camellia sinensis无性系品种(TV1,TV9,TV25和Teenali17)上的生长和存活进行了研究,以确定其最适合寄生的茶树无性系品种。结果表明:在TV25上的黄钩尺蛾幼虫期(15.78d)比在TV1(18.14d),TV9(18.00d)和Teenali17(17.00d)上显著缩短。黄钩尺蛾按幼期龄数分为5龄型和6龄型两类。6龄型幼虫在TV25上的发生率显著高于其在其他3个无性系品种上的发生率。在TV25上黄钩尺蛾幼虫和蛹的体重也显著高于在其他3个无性系品种上的。同样地,以TV25为食的黄钩尺蛾未成熟阶段的存活率显著高于其以其他3个无性系品种为食的存活率。基于生长参数和存活率,我们发现TV25是黄钩尺蛾最适合寄生的茶树无性系品种。

Continuous revision of the histologic and stage-wise classification of lung cancer by the World Health Organization (WHO) provides the foundation for therapeutic advances by promoting molecular targeted and immunotherapies and ensuring accurate diagnosis. Cancer epidemiologic data provide helpful information for cancer prevention, diagnosis, and management, supporting health-care interventions. Global cancer mortality projections from 2016 to 2060 show that cancer will overtake ischemic heart diseases (IHD) as the leading cause of death (18.9 million) immediately after 2030, surpassing non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which accounts for 85 percent of lung cancers. The clinical stage at the diagnosis is the main prognostic factor in NSCLC therapies. Advanced early diagnostic methods are essential as the initial stages of cancer show reduced mortality compared to the advanced stages. Sophisticated approaches to proper histological classification and NSCLC management have improved clinical efficiency. Although immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and targeted molecular therapies have refined the therapeutic management of late-stage NSCLC, the specificity and sensitivity of cancer biomarkers should be improved by focusing on prospective studies, followed by their use as therapeutic tools. The liquid biopsy candidates such as circulating tumor cells (CTCs), circulating cell-free tumor DNA (cfDNA), tumor educated platelets (TEP), and extracellular vesicles (EVs) possess cancer-derived biomolecules and aid in tracing: driver mutations leading to cancer, acquired resistance caused by various generations of therapeutic agents, refractory disease, prognosis, and surveillance.

Background:Major depressive disorder(MDD) is a common mental illness with high lifetime prevalence.A large number of researches had been performed to investigate brain regions involved in the pathophysiology of *** the results are different from these studies using different neuroimaging methods. Objective To evaluate current evidence from Positron Emission Tomography(PET) studies,we conducted a voxel-based meta-analysis of brain cerebral metabolism in MDD. Methods Data were collected from the following databases:PubMed,China Biological Medicine Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Cochrane Library and Web of Science,with the last report up to April ***-based meta-analyses were performed using the revised activation likelihood estimation(ALE) software(GingerALE 2.0).The resulting ALE map was threshold at p < 0.05(corrected for multiple comparisons by false discovery rate),and a minimum cluster size of supra threshold voxels exceeding 100 mm was imposed. Results Ten whole-brain-based FDG-PET studies in MDD were included in the meta-analysis included 188 MDD patients and 169 healthy *** analyses showed the brain metabolism in bilateral insula,left lentiform nucleus putamen and extra-nuclear,right caudate and cingulate gyrus were ***,the brain activity in right thalamus pulvinar and declive of posterior lobe,left culmen of vermis in anterior lobe were increased in MDD *** results show that volumes the brain regions of decreased are more than that of increased regions. Conclusion Our meta-analysis suggested MDD patients showed a dysfunctional circuit including insula,limbic system,basal ganglia,thalamus,and cerebellum that has been discussed in the pathphysiology of *** decreased insula activity might play the key roles in the neuropathology of *** patients suffer from MDD compensated by an increased metabolism in thalamus and cerebellum.

The present investigation is conducted to study the year wise (2011to 2018) changes of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) cover atSantragachi Lake a Wetland under National Wetland ConservationProgramme of India. Further the relationship between water hyacinthcover and the most abundant migratory waterbirds of Satragachi, LesserWhistling Teal (LWT;Dendrocygna javanica) is assessed because this birdspecies is prefer depending on water hyacinth mat for their roosting. Thestudy comprises of eight satellite images procured from Google earth (2011to 2018) to explore this relationship. A marked decline in the number ofLWT at Santragachi wetland is observed in the year of 2017 and 2018. Itis very interesting fact that from 2017-2018, the water hyacinth mat of thiswetland is almost cleared before winter and the result of cluster analysissupports this fact. Significant positive correlation is also observed withinLWT number and water hyacinth cover area (r = 0.7481 at p< 0.05) alongwith the total perimeter (r = 0.8648 at p< 0.05) of the water hyacinthislands at Santragachi wetland. However, open water area is also neededfor diving, swimming, food searching for the LWT and other ***, more study is needed to optimize the clearing operations,focused on optimizing the shape and size of water hyacinth islands forproper management of the waterbirds habitat.
