Porous silica prepared by using an acrylic emulsion has been impregnated with bismuth ion resulting in Bi2Si05 species containing surface. The as-prepared materials have been characterized by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy （XRD）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy （UV-Vis DRS）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, energy dispersive analysis of X-ray （EDAX）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） and N2 adsorption/desorption techniques. EDAX analysis confirms the penetration of bismuth ions into the framework of silica to form Bi2SiO5, which is substantiated by XRD. The UV-Vis DRS shows that the catalysts are optically active and XPS confirms the inclusion of bismuth into the framework of silica. FTIR spectra illustrate the formation of Bi-O-Si linkages in the porous silica framework. SEM and TEM show the spherical morphology, whereas N2 adsorption/desorption study confirms the porosity of the prepared materials. The photocatalytic activity of the material is evaluated for the degradation of isoproturon herbicide and it is found that the material is active as compared to the commercial P-25 Degussa TiO2.

A series of titania nanoparticles and nanotubes deposited with various quantities of bismuth（Bi） were prepared via sol-gel and hydrothermal methods, respectively. They were then characterized using X-ray diffraction spectroscopy（XRD）, X-ray photo electron spectroscopy（XPS）, UV–Vis diffused reflectance spectra（DRS）, photoluminescence spectra（PLS）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, energy dispersive analysis of X-rays（EDAX）, and BET surface analysis. These catalysts were employed for the photocatalytic production of hydrogen from a mixture of pure water and glycerol under solar light irradiation. The presence of the Bispecies was found to play a vital role in enhancing activity while minimizing electron hole recombination（relative to bare TiO）. The nanotubes exhibited better activity than the nanoparticles of Bi-deposited TiO, showing the significance of the morphology; however, photocatalytic activity is predominantly dependent on the deposition of bismuth. The activity increased by approximately an order of magnitude at the optimum concentration of Bi deposited over TiO（2 wt%）. The presence of the Bispecies played a vital role in minimizing electron hole recombination, resulting in higher activity compared to bare TiO.

A recent case report provided a patient scenario,wherein,a 39-year-old male patient presented with occasional palpitations,headache,and *** of tumor markers did not show any abnormal ***,a computed tomography(CT)scan was undertaken,and its findings were affirmative of thymic ***,the postoperative histopathological assessment of the mass,after its resection,confirmed it as an anterior mediastinal multilocular thymic cyst(MTC),with concurrent acute upper respiratory tract infection and acute ***,this case report advocates the need for a preoperative histopathological examination with CT imaging to minimize the risk of confusing an MTC with a malignant thymic tumor.

Resistive Random-Access Memory(RRAM) devices are recognized as potential candidates for next-generation memory devices, due to their smallest cell size, high write/erase speed, and endurance. Particularly, the resistive switching(RS) characteristics in oxide materials have offered new opportunities for developing CMOScompatible high-density RRAM devices. In this study, the RS behavior of HfAlOx/ZrO2thin films sandwiched structure between TiN bottom electrode and Au top electrodes were investigated. It was found that Au/HfAlOx/ZrO2/TiN stacks were superior in terms of RS performance when compare to Au/HfAlOx/TiN memory stacks. The devices demonstrated a good resistance ratio of high resistance state and low resistance state ～103 for Au/HfAlOx/TiN and ～105 for Au/HfAlOx/ZrO2/TiN stacks, respectively. Both stacks showed good retention characteristics(>104s) and endurance(>103cycles). The experimental current-voltage characteristics fitted with different conducting mechanisms, the linear lower bias region is dominated by ohmic conductivity, whereas the non-linear higher bias region was dominated by space-charge limited current conduction mechanism.

Solid polymer electrolyte films containing poly（vinyl alcohol）（PVA） and magnesium nitrate （Mg（NO3）2） were prepared by solution casting technique and characterized by using XRD, FTIR, DSC and AC impedance spectroscopic analysis. The amorphous nature of the polymer electrolyte films has been confirmed by XRD. The complex formation between PVA and Mg salt has been confirmed by FTIR. The glass transition temperature decreases with increasing the Mg salt concentration. The AC impedance studies are performed to evaluate the ionic conductivity of the polymer electrolyte films in the range of 303-383 K, and the temperature dependence seems to obey the Arrhenius behavior. Transport number measurements show that the charge transport is mainly due to ions. Electrochemical cell of configuration Mg/（PVA ＋ Mg（NO3）2）（70：30）/（12 ＋ C ＋ electrolyte） has been fabricated. The discharge characteristics of the cell were studied for a constant load of 100 kΩ.

In the present research work,AZ91 magnesium alloy and AA6082-T6 aluminium alloy were joined by friction stir welding *** comparison of microstructure and mechanical properties between different joints by varying the different materials on advance and retreating sides were mainly *** different welds have been prepared to find the material mixing between the similar and dissimilar *** joint interfaces of the welds have been investigated by employing an optical microscope and scanning electron *** Mg was placed on advancing side(AS),more aluminium content was soluble in nugget zone than the case where Mg was placed on the retreating side(RS).Thin intermetallic layer in the joint interface of Mg/Al and thick intermetallic layer with poor adhesion of the aluminium and magnesium have been observed in the dissimilar joints varying the *** highest UTS of 172.3 MPa was found for Mg-Al when Mg was placed on AS and lower UTS of 156.25 MPa was obtained when Mg was placed on *** of 86 Hv and 89 Hv were observed in the Stir zone for the dissimilar AZ91 Mg alloy and AA6082-T6 Al alloy when AZ91Mg alloy was placed on the AS and on the RS *** was also carried out to find the mode of failure.

Substrate Temperature Dependent Properties of Cu Doped NiO Films Deposited by DC Reactive Magnetron Sputtering

The NiO-Cu composite films were deposited on a glass substrate at various substrate temperatures by DC reactive magnetron sputtering technique. The effect of substrate temperature on the structural, optical, morphological and electrical properties of the films was mainly investigated. X-ray diffraction studies revealed that when the substrate temperature increased to above 200 ℃, the preferred orientation tended to move to another preferred site from （220） to （111） and had a band gap values increased with increasing substrate observed that the grain size and root mean square stable cubic structure. The optical transmittance and temperature. From the morphological studies, it was roughness were increased with increasing substrate temperature. The electrical resistivity of the film decreased to 0.017 Ωcm at high substrate temperature of 400 ℃.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Isoproturon Pesticide on C, N and S Doped TiO2

TiO2 doped with C, N and S (TCNS photocatalyst) was prepared by hydrolysis process using titanium iso-propoxide and thiourea. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photo electron spectroscopy (XPS), BET surface area, FTIR and diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS). The results showed that the prepared catalysts are anatase type and nanosized par-ticles. The catalysts exhibited stronger absorption in the visible light region with a red shift in the adsorption edge. The photocatalytic activity of TCNS photocatalysts was evaluated by the photocatalytic degradation of isoproturon pesticide in aqueous solution. In the present study the maximum activity was achieved for TCNS5 catalyst at neutral pH with 1 g L-1 catalyst amount and at 1.14 x 10-4 M concentration of the pesticide solution. The TCNS photocatalysts showed higher phtocatalytic activity under solar light irradiation. This is attributed to the synergetic effects of red shift in the absorption edge, higher surface area and the inhibition of charge carrier recombination process.

Traditional e-commerce recommendation systems often struggle with dynamic user preferences and a vast array of products,leading to suboptimal user *** address this,our study presents a Personalized Adaptive Multi-Product Recommendation System(PAMR)leveraging transfer learning and Bi-GRU(Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Units).Using a large dataset of user reviews from Amazon and Flipkart,we employ transfer learning with pre-trained models(AlexNet,GoogleNet,ResNet-50)to extract high-level attributes from product data,ensuring effective feature representation even with limited ***-GRU captures both spatial and sequential dependencies in user-item *** innovation of this study lies in the innovative feature fusion technique that combines the strengths of multiple transfer learning models,and the integration of an attention mechanism within the Bi-GRU framework to prioritize relevant *** approach addresses the classic recommendation systems that often face challenges such as cold start along with data sparsity difficulties,by utilizing robust user and item *** model demonstrated an accuracy of up to 96.9%,with precision and an F1-score of 96.2%and 96.97%,respectively,on the Amazon dataset,significantly outperforming the baselines and marking a considerable advancement over traditional *** study highlights the effectiveness of combining transfer learning with Bi-GRU for scalable and adaptive recommendation systems,providing a versatile solution for real-world applications.
