Monoclonal immunoscintigraphy for detection of metastasis and recurrence of colorectal cancer

AIM:To assess the clinical role of monoclonal immunoscintigraphy for the detection of metastasis and recurrence of colorectal ***:Monoclonal immunoscintigraphy was performed in patients operated on for colorectal adenocar-cinoma suspected of local recurrence and metastatic *** results were compared with conventional ***:Immunoscintigraphic investigation was done in 53 *** recurrence occurred in 38 patients,and was confirmed by other diagnostic modalities in *** 15 patients,immunoscintigraphic findings were negative,and confirmed in 14 with other diagnostic *** analysis confirmed good correlation of immunoscintigraphic findings and the results of conventional diagnostics and the level of tumor marker carcinoembryonic *** analysis of parameters of radiopharmaceutical groups imacis,indimacis and oncoscint presented homogenous characteristics all of three *** analysis of immunoscintigraphic target focus was clearly improved using ***:Immunoscintigraphy is highly specific and has a good predictive value in local recurrence of colorectal cancer.

Interpenetrated Structures for Enhancing Ion Diffusion Kinetics in Electrochemical Energy Storage Devices

The architectural design of electrodes offers new opportunities for next-generation electrochemical energy storage devices(EESDs)by increasing surface area,thickness,and active materials mass loading while maintaining good ion diffusion through optimized electrode ***,conventional thick electrodes increase ion diffusion length and cause larger ion concentration gradients,limiting reaction *** demonstrate a strategy for building interpenetrated structures that shortens ion diffusion length and reduces ion concentration *** free-standing device structure also avoids short-circuiting without needing a *** feature size and number of interpenetrated units can be adjusted during printing to balance surface area and ion *** with a 3D-printed interpenetrated polymer substrate,we metallize it to make it *** substrate has two individually addressable electrodes,allowing selective electrodeposition of energy storage *** a Zn//MnO_(2) battery as a model system,the interpenetrated device outperforms conventional separate electrode configurations,improving volumetric energy density by 221%and exhibiting a higher capacity retention rate of 49%compared to 35%at temperatures from 20 to 0℃.Our study introduces a new EESD architecture applicable to Li-ion,Na-ion batteries,supercapacitors,etc.

Spatiality of the urban commons:Typo-morphology of the open common spaces in New Belgrade mass housing blocks

The article examines the existing infrastructure of open common spaces within two New Belgrade mass housing blocks(Blocks 23 and 70a)through a typo-morphological *** spaces between the buildings,although the most neglected,underused,and deteriorated components of mass housing neighbourhoods,are at the same time crucial to the quality,vitality and integrated governance of these *** represent the primary tangible commons in cities and *** question of urban commons is increasingly present in scientific literature,urban and architectural ***,approaches exploring the spatiality of the urban commons are scarce,leading to insufficient understanding of the spatial aspect and potentials of the already existing ***,this study includes(1)identification,typological decoding and classification of the common spaces,focusing on the case of New Belgrade blocks,followed by(2)analysis of the spatial patterns and integration of the identified spaces within the *** study confirms the complexity and diverse typology of the common *** finds that the in-between,common spaces contribute to higher integration of different segments of the *** open common spaces have an essential role in humanisation of the blocks,and thus the quality of life in the blocks as integrated *** findings indicate that the spatial setting of the open common spaces in New Belgrade blocks allows for(re)emergence of collective practices,leading to inclusive and integrated rehabilitation of the neighbourhoods.

Spontaneous rupture of the spleen (SRS) is a rare clinical entity with a potentially poor medical outcome. In most cases, SRS is caused by neoplastic disorder. Acute promyelocytic leukaemia is a rare but important cause of SRS that physicians are required to assess for. We present a 28-year-old woman with APL and COVID-19 pneumonia, who successfully underwent embolisation of the splenic artery for spontaneously occurring splenic rupture during induction chemotherapy. After the intervention the patient completed induction chemotherapy and achieved complete remission. Our case demonstrates that emergent transcatheter arterial embolisation can be lifesaving even in the unfavourable condition of a patient with severe immune deficiency.
