A PE-ACO-OFDM(Position-Encoded Asymmetrically Clipped Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)signaling scheme for intensity modulation and direct detection is introduced in this paper,where the anti-asymmetry characteristics of ACO-OFDM are exploited to improve the rate of data *** is achieved by reducing the symbol duration of the ACO-OFDM signal,where only the first half of ACO-OFDM is used to transmit the ACO-OFDM data symbol after inverting its negative samples to positive *** addition,encoded ACO-OFDM samples are combined with every ACO-OFDM symbol to allow the receiver to identify the position of the inverted *** results are introduced,and it is shown that the data rates of PE-ACO-OFDM improve by 33%compared with ACO-OFDM,when a 256-quadrature amplitude modulation scheme is considered as the encoded constellation *** is also shown that the signal to noise ratio of the proposed PE-ACO-OFDM is higher by almost 1 dB compared with the traditional ACO-OFDM.

Efficacy of He-Ne Laser in Combination with Topical Clindamycin in the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris (AV)

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of He-Ne laser in combination with topical clindamycin in the treatment of AV at 108 Military Central Hospital from Oct 2015 to Aug 2016. Subjects and Methods: 61 patients with AV were divided into 2 groups: Group 1: 31 patients were treated with He-Ne laser in combination with topical Clindamycin, Group 2: 30 patients were only treated with topical clindamycin. Laser HE-NE was applied 2 times/week for 6 weeks. Result: After 3 months of treatment Group 1: very good—51.6%, good—48.4%. Group 2: very good—30%, good—50% and moderate—20%. Conclusion: The combination of He-Ne laser with topical clindamycin shows more rapid clinical improvement compared to topical clindamycin alone in the treatment of mild and moderate AV.

Observations by the Atacama Large Millimetre/sub-millimetre Array of the dust continuum and ^13 CO（3–2） millimetre emissions of the triple stellar system GG Tau A are analysed,giving evidence for a rotating gas disc and a concentric and coplanar dust ring. The present work complements an earlier analysis（tang et al.） by exploring detailed properties of the gas disc. A 95% confidence level upper limit of 0.24＂（34 au） is placed on the disc scale height at a distance of 1＂（140 au） from the central stars. Evidence for Keplerian rotation of the gas disc is presented,with the rotation velocity reaching-3.1 km s^-1 at 1＂ from the central stars,and a 99% confidence level upper limit of 9% is placed on relative contribution from a possible in-fall velocity. Variations of the intensity across the disc area are studied in detail and confirm the presence of a hot spot in the south-eastern quadrant. However several other significant intensity variations,in particular a depression in the northern direction,are also revealed. Variations of the intensity are found to be positively correlated to variations of the line width. Possible contributions to the measured line width are reviewed,suggesting an increase of the disc temperature and opacity with decreasing distance from the stars.

Computer Automated Tomography has been shown to be a valuable tool in production research because it provides a non-destructive method to identify and evaluate the internal structural characteristics of reservoir rock. In CT scan, Hounsfield Unit (HU) is proportional to the degree of X-ray attenuation by the tissue. The aim of the present study was to introduce the method to estimate porosity which is one of physical parameters of reservoir rock though HU data. In this study, an Image J software was used to extract Hounsfield Unit data and calibrate by standard material’s density. This method provides the ability of using CT Scanner in advanced reservoir characterization and flow test experiments.

There are only eight approved small molecule antiviral drugs for treating *** them,four are nucleotide analogues(remdesivir,JT001,molnupiravir,and azvudine),while the other four are protease inhibitors(nirmatrelvir,ensitrelvir,leritrelvir,and simnotrelvir-ritonavir).Antiviral resistance,unfavourable drug‒drug interaction,and toxicity have been reported in previous *** there is a dearth of new treatment options for *** this work,a three-tier cell-based screening was employed to identify novel compounds with anti-SARS-CoV-2 *** compound,designated 172,demonstrated broad-spectrum antiviral activity against multiple human pathogenic coronaviruses and different SARS-CoV-2 variants of *** studies validated by reverse genetics showed that compound 172 inhibits the 3-chymotrypsin-like protease(3CLpro)by binding to an allosteric site and reduces 3CLpro dimerization.A drug synergistic checkerboard assay demonstrated that compound 172 can achieve drug synergy with nirmatrelvir in *** vivo studies confirmed the antiviral activity of compound 172 in both Golden Syrian Hamsters and K18 humanized ACE2 ***,this study identified an alternative druggable site on the SARS-CoV-23CLpro,proposed a potential combination therapy with nirmatrelvir to reduce the risk of antiviral resistance and shed light on the development of allosteric protease inhibitors for treating a range of coronavirus diseases.

目的研究绿茶提取物（GTE）及其主要成分表没食子儿茶素没食子酸酯（EGCG）干预对人乳头瘤病毒16（HPV-16）癌蛋白（E6和E7）诱导的人宫颈癌C-33A细胞缺氧诱导因子1α（HIF-1α）和血管内皮生长因子（VEGF）表达的影响。方法将宫颈癌细胞分为瞬时转染空质粒HA-pSG5（空质粒组）、HA-pSG5-HPV-16E6质粒（16E6组）、16E7质粒（16E7组）和模拟转染组，转染后18、24和48h以蛋白质印迹法检测各组细胞HIF-1α蛋白的表达，酶联免疫吸附试验检测VEGF蛋白的表达。转染后24h，分别用不同浓度GTE或EGCG处理16E6、16E7组细胞不同时间，并设未用GTE或EGCG处理组（未干预组），同法检测各组细胞HIF-10α和VEGF蛋白的表达，实时PCR检测HIF-1α和VEGF mRNA的表达。结果转染后24h，16E6和16E7组细胞HIF-10L蛋白表达明显增加；VEGF蛋白分别为（870166）、（1487±51）pg／ml，均明显高于空质粒组[（366±65）pg／ml，均P〈0．01]。40μg/ml GTE或50μmol／L EGCG处理16h即可明显抑制16E6、16E7组细胞HIF-1α蛋白表达；16E6组VEGF蛋白分别为（476±34）、（477±65）pg／ml，VEGF mRNA分别为1．208±0．196、1．174±0．208，均明显低于未干预组[分别为（870±66）pg／ml、1．805±0．081，均P〈0．01）；16E7组VEGF蛋白分别为（649±55）、（514±37）pg／ml，VEGF mRNA分别为1．442±0．136、1．399±0．064，均明显低于未干预组[分别为（1487±51）pg／ml、2．123±0．120，均P〈0．01）。80μg／mlGTE或100μmol／I。EGCG对VEGF蛋白表达的抑制作用明显强于40μg／ml GTE或50μmol／LEGCG（均P〈0．01）。结论GTE和EGCG对HPV-16癌蛋白诱导的人宫颈癌细胞HIF-1α蛋白、VEGF蛋白及mRNA表达具有明硅抑制作用，其中对VEGF蛋白表达的抑制作用呈明显的剂量依赖性。

Raising public awareness and participation of the local communities in the environmental protection has become a major objective of sound development programs. In the framework of the canal environmental protection program of Ho Chi minh City, we had developed 32 public awareness meetings for 14 districts with about 2,726 participants from year 2012 to 2015. The program had been organized in various forms such as training, brochure, leaflet, poster, propaganda gifts, face-to-face discussion, study visits, survey questionnaire. The results of the program can add substantial value to the canal environmental protection program of the city. The information gained through public comments can help identify key issues and solutions for the authorities as district and city levels. It was determined that most important outcomes from the public participation were educating the public, incorporating public values, assumptions and preferences into decision making process.
