Simultaneously enhancing the reaction kinetics,mass transport,and gas release during alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is critical to minimizing the reaction polarization resistance,but remains a big *** rational design of a hierarchical multiheterogeneous three-dimensionally(3D)ordered macroporous Mo_(2)C-embedded nitrogen-doped carbon with ultrafine Ru nanoclusters anchored on its surface(OMS Mo_(2)C/NC-Ru),we realize both electronic and morphologic engineering of the catalyst to maximize the electrocatalysis *** formed Ru-NC heterostructure shows regulative electronic states and optimized adsorption energy with the intermediate H*,and the Mo_(2)C-NC heterostructure accelerates the Volmer reaction due to the strong water dissociation ability as confirmed by theoretical ***,superior HER activity in alkaline solution with an extremely low overpotential of 15.5 mV at 10 mAcm^(−2)with the mass activity more than 17 times higher than that of the benchmark Pt/C,an ultrasmall Tafel slope of 22.7 mV dec−1,and excellent electrocatalytic durability were achieved,attributing to the enhanced mass transport and favorable gas release process endowed from the unique OMS Mo_(2)C/NC-Ru *** oxidizing OMS Mo_(2)C/NC-Ru into OMS MoO_(3)-RuO_(2)catalyst,it can also be applied as efficient oxygen evolution electrocatalyst,enabling the construction of a quasi-symmetric electrolyzer for overall water *** a device's performance surpassed the state-of-the-art Pt/C||RuO2 *** study provides instructive guidance for designing 3D-ordered macroporous multicomponent catalysts for efficient catalytic applications.

The topology of foliations formed by the generic K-orbits of a subclass of the indecomposable MD_5-groups

The paper is a continuation of the authors' works in 2007. We consider the MD_5-foliations associated to connected and simply connected MD_5-groups such that their Lie algebras have 4-dimensional commutative derived ideals. In this study, we give a topological classification of all considered MD_5-foliations. A description of these foliations by certain fibrations or suitable actions of R2 and the Connes' C*-algebras of the foliations which come from fibrations are also given.

Investigation of Polymorphisms in Coding Region of OsHKT1in Relation to Salinity in Rice

Rice （Oryza sativa） is sensitive to salinity, but the salt tolerance level differs among cultivars,which might result from natural variations in the genes that are responsible for salt tolerance. High-affinitypotassium transporter （HKTs） has been proven to be involved in salt tolerance in plants. Therefore, wescreened for natural nucleotide polymorphism in the coding sequence of OsHKT1, which encodes the HKTprotein in eight Vietnamese rice cultivars differing in salt tolerance level. In total, seven nucleotidesubstitutions in coding sequence of OsHKT1 were found, including two non-synonymous and five synonymoussubstitutions. Further analysis revealed that these two non-synonymous nucleotide substitutions （G50Tand T1209A） caused changes in amino acids （Gly17Val and Asp403Glu） at signal peptide and the loop ofthe sixth transmembrane domain, respectively. To assess the potential effect of these substitutions on theprotein function, the 3D structure of HKT protein variants was modelled by using PHYRE2 webserver. Theresults showed that no difference was observed when compared those predicted 3D structure of HKTprotein variants with each other. In addition, the codon bias of synonymous substitutions cannot clearlyshow correlation with salt tolerance level. It might be interesting to further investigate the functional roles ofdetected non-synonymous substitutions as it might correlate to salt tolerance in rice.

Using Isotope Technology for Surface Water Environment Research in Southern Hanoi

The surface water in the southern of Hanoi capital is researched by identifying δ2H and δ18O stable isotopes together with EC, DO, BOD5, COD, TSS. Surface water samples for studying include the Red river, Nhue river and Kim Nguu river, Thanh Nhan lake, Yen So lake and Van Quan lake were collected in the dry season (April) and the rainy season (August) in 2015. The stable isotope analysis results showed that the δ18O values is a range from -42.53‰ to -64.05‰ and, the δ2H values is the range from -5.09‰ to -8.79‰ under global meteoric waterline (in the water vapor region). The δ2H results of the rivers and lakes in the dry season are more negative than the rainy season with a small difference. The δ18O results of lakes in the dry season are more negative than the rainy season, but the δ18O results of river in the dry season are more positive than the rainy season. The results of the EC, BOD, COD, DO, TSS analysis showed that surface water environment has changed clearly in the two seasons and the contamination level in the dry season is usually higher than the rainy season. The lakes and rivers strongly influenced by human activities led to seriously pollution are Van Quan lake and Yen So lake, Nhue river and Kim Nguu river.

Hydrodeoxygenation of Bio-Oil on Bimetallic Catalysts: From Model Compound to Real Feed

Two series of bimetallic Ni-Co catalysts and corresponding monometallic catalysts with ca. 20 wt% metal loading were evaluated in hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of phenol as a model compound for bio-oil. The bimetallic catalysts outperformed the corresponding monometallic catalyst in terms of conversion and cyclohexane selectivity. This could be attributed to the formation of Ni-Co alloy, which caused a decrease in metal particle size and stabilized Ni active sites in the near surface region. The balanced combination of formed Ni-Co alloy with acidity from supports allowed performing all individual steps in the reaction network toward desired products at high rate. Consequently, the two best-performing catalysts were tested in HDO of wood based bio-oil, showing that the bimetallic catalyst 10Ni10Co/HZSM-5 was more effective than 20Ni/HZSM-5 in terms of degree of deoxygenation and upgraded bio-oil yield. These findings might open an opportunity for development of a novel cheap but effective catalyst for a key step in the process chain from biomass to renewable liquid fuels.

Ethanol extracts of Scutellaria baicalensis protect against lipopolysaccharide-induced acute liver injury in mice

Objective: To investigated the protective potential of ethanol extracts of Scutellaria baicalensis(S. baicalensis) against lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced liver injury. Methods: Dried roots of S. baicalensis were extracted with ethanol and concentrated to yield a dry residue. Mice were administered 200 mg/kg of the ethanol extracts orally once daily for one week. Animals were subsequently administered a single dose of LPS(5 mg/kg of body weight, intraperitoneal injection). Both protein and m RNA levels of cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin-1β, and interleukin-6 in liver tissues were evaluated by ELISA assay and quantitative PCR. C yclooxygenase-2, inducible nitric oxide synthase, and nuclear factor-κB protein levels in liver tissues were analyzed by western blotting. Results: Liver injury induced by LPS signifi cantly increased necrosis factor alpha, interleukin-1β, interleukin-6, cyclooxygenase-2, inducible nitric oxide synthase, and nuclear factor-κB in liver tissues. Treatment with ethanol extracts of S. baicalensis prevented all of these observed changes associated with LPS-induced injury in liver ***: Our study showed that S. baicalensis is potentially protective against LPS-induced liver injury in mice.

This paper is devoted to identifying an unknown source for a time-fractional diffusion equation in a general bounded ***,we prove the problem is non-well posed and the stability of the source ***,by using the Modified Fractional Landweber method,we present regularization solutions and show the convergence rate between regularization solutions and sought solution are given under a priori and a posteriori choice rules of the regularization parameter,***,we present an illustrative numerical example to test the results of our theory.

Use of Sequential, Single and Kinetic Extractive Schemes to Assess Cadmium (Cd) and Lead (Pb) Availability in Vietnamese Urban Soils

Modified BCR sequential extraction, single equilibrium-based EDTA extraction and kinetic fractionation were used for estimating the Pb and Cd availability in a series of soil samples from 3 sites located in urban areas of Hanoi (Vietnam). These schemes were compared to identify a simple, rapid and cheap protocol for routine estimation of Pb and Cd remobilizable fraction and the related potential risk. The comparison of these three approaches revealed their convergence in terms of mobility patterns observed for Pb and Cd. Cd was characterized by higher extractibality and mobility whatever the approach. Pb was distinguished of Cd by its high association to Feoxides, lower extractability, lower rate of desorption and then lower mobility. For this environmental scenario, EDTA single scheme at equilibrium could be suggested as the best suited and a simple protocol for determination of the labile pool of Cd and Pb. The pseudo-total concentrations of Pb and Cd are actually below the Vietnamese standard level, contrary to the results obtained by other authors for agricultural soils at other urban sites of Hanoi.

Study the Changes in Soil Organic Carbon of Rice-Maize Cropping System in the Top Layer of Alluvisol Soil in Dan Phuong: A Study of C-13 Stable Isotope Composition (<i>δ</i><sup>13</sup>C)

In this study, the experiments on field were conducted to examine the change in the content of soil organic carbon (SOC), its C-13 stable isotope composition (δ 13C) and some main physical, chemical parameters (soil moisture, pH, soil density, content of humic, fulvic, total N, total P, total K) in alluvial soil of Dan Phuong region—Vietnam at a depth of 0 - 30 cm when we changed the regime from 2 maize -1 rice crop to 2 rice - 1 maize crop per 1 year. In addition to analyzing the main parameters in soil, C content and its δ 13C value in parts of rice and maize (root, stem and leaf) were also analyzed to assess the contribution of plant residues on soil organic carbon content after harvest. The experiment was carried out in 2016-2017 on the field with the traditional farming method of local farmers along with the tropical monsoon weather conditions of the North-Vietnam. The results showed that SOC had positive correlation with total N, total P parameters and negative correlation with δ 13C values of soil samples at two layers (0 - 15 cm and 15 - 30 cm). The average of total dry biomass (stem, stump + roots and leaf parts) per 1 rice and 1 maize crop was 10.64 Mg/ha and 9.09 Mg/ha, respectively. The average of δ 13C value of rice (C3 plant) was -29.78‰ and its value of maize (C4 plant) was -12.61‰. The new plant (rice) contributes to the total soil organic carbon content from 11.31% to 44.14% at the 0 - 15 cm layer and from 6.55% to 11.31% at the 15 - 30 cm layer in one-year experiment period.

冷战结束后,国际政治格局有着巨大的转变,世界正在把注意力从军事与经济(即硬实力-hard power)领域渐渐转向文化(即软实力-soft power)领域。近几年来,研究文化软实力在国际关系当中成为学术界和国际政治的大热潮。中国与越南是邻邦,“出水相连、文化相通、理想相同、命运相关”,均有着悠久的历史,文化交往源远流长,两国在各个方面上有着较多的交叉点与相同点。虽然中越关系在现代历史中曾出现过分歧,但在两国政府与人民的努力下,自20世纪90年代初,中越关系已正常化并迅速发展。影响到中越关系的重要因素之一就是双方所开展的各种文化外交活动。通过文化外交,两国政府与人民之间增进了相互了解与信任,为其他领域的合作关系奠定了良好的基础。本文拟从辨析“文化外交”、“文化交流”、“文化软实力”等基本概念入手来考察中国与越南自1949年以来的文化外交关系及其对两国关系的影响。本论文还较为详细地概括了软实力理论和地缘政治理论,力图将中越文化外交放在这一理论环境中加以考察分析。本文分析指出,从总体上来说,文化外交对中越关系起着很大的促进作用。在文化领域上,文化外交促进了中越各国文化的进一步发展;在政治领域上,文化外交推动了中越政治关系的稳固发展;在经济领域上,文化外交带动了中越经济、贸易关系的迅猛发展。本论文还对中越文化外交关系所存在的问题进行了分析,同时提出旨在进一步促进中越文化外交的几点思考。目前中越文化外交中物质文化的传播与交流未能全面而深入地展开,文化外交缺乏综合国力的支撑,仍然存在着发展不平衡的现象,有时仍受到一些历史问题的困扰。因此,中越两国政府都要共同努力,继续积极发展文化外交事业;在推行文化外交的过程中要立足于本国的传统文化,加强中越文化的交流与互补;大力推动本国文化创新,促进各国文化产业的发展;同时,要实现文化外交、政治外交与经济外交的有机结合。上述分析有望能够对两国学者们今后更深入研究这一领域具有一定的启发意义与参考价值。目前,中越学界对文化外交及其对中越两国总体关系的影响研究甚少,均处于起步阶段。在这样缺乏理论基础和参考材料的情况下,本论文的研究会有一定的开创意义,希望能够为两国学界仍比较薄弱的文化外交研究增砖添瓦
