The extant Cabrera’s vole,Microtus cabrerae,differs in morphology and evolutionary history from the other species of *** arvicoline has unique derived features in the cranium,mandible and ***bly its most conspicuous features are its large size,the high skull in lateral view,the long and distally broad nasals,and the triangle shape of the anteroconid complex,with a marked labio-lingual asymmetry of the occlusal surface of the first lower *** this study,we propose a phylogenetic lineage that includes Cabrera’s vole in what until now has been the Microtus subgenus *** information and several life history traits support the elevation of Iberomys to the rank of *** Iberomys comprises species that have appeared in succession during the Quaternary:in the Early Pleistocene,the extinct *** in the Middle Pleistocene,the extinct *** and in the Late Pleistocene,the extant ***,the extant species shows several biological singularities,such as multiple polymorphic copies of the sRY male-specific gene in both males and females,and the lowest basal metabolic rate in relation to weight among arvicoline ***,its habitat requirement is unique among the Iberian ***,the biological and paleontological data that we present in this work support the elevation of its taxonomic rank to that of ge*** study also suggests a modification of nomenclature:Microtus(Iberomys)brecciensis is replaced with *** and the common name of the extant M.(I.)cabrerae changed from‘topillo’to‘iberon’to improve conservation and protection actions.

The novelty of this research lies in the successful fabrication of a 3D-printed honeycomb structure filled with nanofillers for acoustic properties,utilizing an impedance tube setup in accordance with AsTM standard E *** Creality Ender-3,a 3D printer,was used for printing the honeycomb structures,and polylactic acid(PLA)material was employed for their *** organic,inorganic,and polymeric compounds within the composites were identified using fourier transformation infrared(FTIR)*** structure and homogeneity of the samples were examined using a field emission scanning electron microscope(FEsEM).To determine the sound absorption coefficient of the 3D printed honeycomb structure,numerous samples were systematically developed using central composite design(CCD)and analysed using response surface methodology(RsM).The RsM mathematical model was established to predict the optimum values of each factor and noise reduction coefficient(NRC).The optimum values for an NRC of 0.377 were found to be 1.116 wt% carbon black,1.025 wt% aluminium powder,and 3.151 mm distance between parallel ***,the results demonstrate that a 3Dprinted honeycomb structure filled with nanofillers is an excellent material that can be utilized in various fields,including defence and aviation,where lightweight and acoustic properties are of great importance.

Dear Editor,Coronaviruses have evolved a wide array of tactics to evade host antiviral *** host cells detect invading foreign nucleic acids including viral genome and viral replication intermediates,they activate interferon(IFN)signaling via cytoplasmic pattern recognition receptors(Kang et al.,2002;Kato et al.,2006).Remarkable stealth activities exhibited by coronaviruses are facilitated by a series of non-structural proteins(Nsps),such as Nsp15(Deng and Baker,2018;Deng et al.,2019;Hackbart et al.,2020),which is a uridine-specific endoribonuclease that mediates evasion of host detection of viral double-stranded RNA(dsRNA)(Bhardwaj et al.,2004;Deng et al.,2017;Frazier et al.,2021;Ivanov et al.,2004).Nsp15 targets a polyuridine[poly(U)]tract on the coronavirus negative strand RNA(Hackbart et al.,2020).Nsp15 limits the abundance and length of poly(U)within the negative strand RNA 5ʹ-extension by trimming down the initially synthesized poly(U)lead sequence to the optimal length that can suppress dsRNA formation but still serves as a template for poly(A)tail of the positive strand genome of the coronaviruses(Hofmann and Brian,1991).

We present a case report of a patient with a suspicious ileal carcinoid tumour. Clinical examination as well as computer tomograghy (CT) scan suggested a tumour. Octeotride scan showed uptake in the same bowel loop reported as pathological in CT. The patient underwent surgery and biopsy which reported Crohn’s disease (CD). The interest in the case is due to the fact that this is, to the best of our knowledge, the second report of Crohn’sdisease as a cause of false positive octeotride scan. Unfortunately, no somatostatin recptors could be found in the sample, so further studies should be performed.

Appreciable amounts of selenium in spring and well waters can be found due to geological occurrence. Concentrations of as much as 400 9000 μg/l have been reported in U. s. *** levels are 8 to 180 times the current EPA drinking water standard and approximate dietary exposures of 4900μg in selenosis regions of China. Reviews of health significance of the elevated drinking water exposures to U. s. populations revealed elevated concentrations of selenium in urine and blood.
