We present a. a.a.ysis of electroma.netic oscilla.ions in a.spherica. conducting ca.ity filled concentrica.ly with either dielectric or va.uum la.ers. The fields a.e given a.a.ytica.ly, a.d the resona.t frequency is determined numerica.ly. a. importa.t specia. ca.e of a.spherica. conducting ca.ity with a.sma.ler dielectric sphere a. its center is trea.ed in more deta.l. By numerica.ly integra.ing the equa.ions of motion we demonstra.e tha. the tra.sverse electric oscilla.ions in such ca.ity ca. be used to a.celera.e strongly rela.ivistic electrons. The electron’s tra.ectory is a.sumed to be nea.ly ta.gentia. to the dielectric sphere. We demonstra.e tha. the intera.tion of such electrons with the oscilla.ing ma.netic field deflects their tra.ectory from a.stra.ght line only slightly. The Q fa.tor of such a.resona.or only depends on losses in the dielectric. For existing ultra.low loss dielectrics, Q ca. be three orders of ma.nitude better tha. obta.ned in existing cylindrica. ca.ities.

Spruce-domina.ed forests a.e commonly exposed to disturba.ces a.socia.ed with ma.s occurrences of ba.k *** dieba.k of trees triggers ma.y physica. a.d chemica. processes in the ecosystem resulting in ra.id cha.ges in the vegeta.ion of the lower forest *** a.med to determine the response of non-tree understory vegeta.ion to the ma.s dieba.k of Norwa. spruce(Picea.a.ies)in the first yea.s a.ter the disturba.ce ca.sed by the Europea. spruce ba.k beetle(Ips typogra.hus)*** study a.ea.wa. the Bia.owieża.Biosphere Reserve covering the Polish pa.t of the emblema.ic Bia.owieża.Forest,in tota. 597km^(2).The ma.n da.a.source comprised 3,900 phytosociologica. relevés(combined spring a.d summer ca.pa.gns)collected from 1,300 systema.ica.ly distributed forest sites in 2016–2018–the pea. yea.s of the ba.k beetle *** found tha. the understory responded immedia.ely to ma.s spruce dieba.k,with the most pronounced cha.ges observed in the yea. of the disturba.ce a.d the subsequent ***-tolera.t forest species declined in the initia. yea.s following the ma.s spruce dieba.k,while hemicryptophytes,therophytes,light-dema.ding species a.socia.ed with non-forest semina.ura. communities,a. well a. wa.er-dema.ding forest species,*** a.etosella.the most common understory species in the Bia.owieża.Forest,showed a.distinct fluctua.ion pa.tern,with strong short-term expa.sion right a.ter spruce dieba.k,followed by a.gra.ua. decline over the next 3–4 yea.s to a.cover level 5 percenta.e points lower tha. before the ***,our study revea.ed tha. ma.s spruce dieba.k selectively a.fects individua. herb species,a.d their responses ca. be directiona. a.d non-directiona.(fluctua.ion).Furthermore,we demonstra.ed tha. the ma.s dieba.k of spruce tempora.ily increa.es pla.t species diversity(α-diversity).

Two hundred a.d fifty single first-order a.rhenius rea.tions a.e simula.ed to genera.e S2 pyrogra.s a. three hea.ing ra.es 25,15,a.d 5°C·*** a.tiva.ion energy(E)a.d pre-exponentia. fa.tor(a.of the rea.tions simula.ed follow a.long-esta.lished trend of those va.ia.le va.ues displa.ed by sha.es a.d *** cha.a.teristics of the tra.sforma.ion fra.tion(TF)profiles(product genera.ion window tempera.ures)of the simula.ed single rea.tions a.e compa.ed to the TF profiles of recorded sha.e pyrogra.s genera.ed by multiple rea.tions with different E-a.va.ues lying nea. the defined E-a.*** simila.ities a.d differences a.e observed between the TF profile va.ues of the two *** simila.ities support the sprea. of E-a.va.ues involved in sha.e pyrogra. best *** differences a.e most likely expla.ned by the complexity of the multiple kerogen first-order a.d second-order rea.tions contributing to the recorded sha.e pyrogra.s versus the simplicity a.d crispness of the single first-order rea.tions *** results a.so justify the va.idity of using the previously described“va.ia.le E-a.pyrogra.-fitting method”of multi-hea.ing-ra.e sha.e pyrogra.s ena.ling optimizers to choose multiple rea.tions from a. unlimited ra.ge of E-a.*** contra.t,further doubt is ca.t on the va.idity of the consta.t-a.pyrogra.-fitting method used by the Ea.y%Ro technique,in tha. a.distribution of rea.tions with a.single a.va.ue is unlikely to represent the complex va.iety of kerogen ma.era.s observed in sha.e *** profiles genera.ed by the va.ia.le E-a.pyrogra.-fitting method lie close to the esta.lished E-a.trend a.d a.e likely to provide more rea.istic TF genera.ion window tempera.ures tha.
