Non-conventional feed ingredients are receiving more interest in their ability to increase farming effi-ciency,sustainability and animal performance.The objective of this study was to determine the optimal rate of inclusion level of the full-fat black soldier fly larvae(BSFL)in broiler diets and to evaluate their impact on performance,nutrient digestibility,and the immune system(blood cells and intraepithelial lymphocytes).A total of 400 male day-old Ross 308 broilers were randomly assigned to 5 treatment groups with 8 replicates each.Five inclusion levels of full-fat BSFL were investigated across starter(0,2.5%,5%,7.5%and 10%),grower and finisher diets(0,5%,10%,15%and 20%).All diets were formulated based on digestible amino acid values according to the Aviagen(2016)recommendations.A polynomial regression at different degrees was performed to analyse broiler performance parameters(body weight,body weight gain,feed intake,and feed conversion ratio),nutrient digestibility,and blood cell count.Intraepithelial lymphocyte population data was analysed performing univariate linear regression.During the entire experimental period(from 2 to 42 d),BSFL inclusion levels decreased the feed conversion ratio by 10%in broilers that received 20%BSFL in their diets(Pdecreased linearly by 47.7%and 35.9%,respectively,with up to 20%BSFL inclusion(Pdecrease in CD3+T lymphocytes and a 9.7-fold decrease of CD3+CD8+intestinal cytotoxic T lymphocytes occurred in broilers fed 20%BSFL compared to the control group.These findings suggest that the inclusion of BSFL can improve broiler performance and potentially reduce immune response energy expenditure in birds fed 20%BSFL for 42 d.

The cytokine granulocyte-macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) possesses the capacity to differentiate monocytes into macrophages (MØs) with opposing functions, namely, proinflammatory M1-like MØs and immunosuppressive M2-like MØs. despite the importance of these opposing biological outcomes, the intrinsic mechanism that regulates the functional polarization of MØs under GM-CSF signaling remains elusive. Here, we showed that GM-CSF-induced MØ polarization resulted in the expression of cytokine-inducible SH2-containing protein (CIS) and that CIS deficiency skewed the differentiation of monocytes toward immunosuppressive M2-like MØs. CIS deficiency resulted in hyperactivation of the JAK-STAT5 signaling pathway, consequently promoting downregulation of the transcription factor Interferon Regulatory Factor 8 (IRF8). Loss- and gain-of-function approaches highlighted IRF8 as a critical regulator of the M1-like polarization program. In vivo, CIS deficiency induced the differentiation of M2-like macrophages, which promoted strong Th2 immune responses characterized by the development of severe experimental asthma. Collectively, our results reveal a CIS-modulated mechanism that clarifies the opposing actions of GM-CSF in MØ differentiation and uncovers the role of GM-CSF in controlling allergic inflammation.

卫生体系的差异往往使得在某种环境下适用的卫生政策或规划不适用于其他情况,或这种差异使相同的卫生政策或规划在不同环境下起作用的方式不同,甚至使其效果大相径庭。因此,决策者及其支持者所面临的最大挑战是需弄清支持某一决策的研究证据是否适用于他们所处的环境。系统评价通过总结各种背景下的研究证据而使这一问题迎刃而解。但许多系统评价并未对描述原始研究的实施背景。本文建议用下面几个问题来指导决策者评价系统评价结果在特定环境下的适用性:①系统评价纳入研究的实施背景是否相同或研究结果是否能在不同环境下或不同时期内保持一致性?②有可能明显改变决策的可接受性和可行性的现实条件和制约因素是否存在重要差异?③在卫生系统制度方面是否存在重要差异从而意味着某种决策不能以同样的方式起作用?④基线情况是否存在重要差异以至于产生不同的绝对效应,尽管相对效应是一致的?⑤从决策、实施、监测及评估中还能得到哪些启示?尽管有理由推断某决策在某特定环境下的作用可能不同,但我们几乎总是可以从对各种可能的决策方案及其实施、监测、评估方法的系统评价中获得一些启示。

Osseointegration(OI),targeted muscle reinnervation(TMR),and vascularized composite allotransplantation(VCA)are just a few ways by which our reconstructive ladder is evolving.It is important to recognize that amputation does not necessarily denote failure,but surgeons should strive to find ways to provide these patients with means for obtaining better satisfaction and quality of life postoperatively.TMR and OI have added options for mutilating lower extremity injuries that necessitate amputation.More recently,the senior author(Levin LS)described the"penthouse"floor of the reconstructive ladder being VCA.despite the advances in VCA over the last 20 years,there are many challenges that face this discipline including indications for patient selection,minimizing immunosuppressive regimens,standardizing outcome measures,establishing reliable protocols for monitoring,and diagnosing and managing rejection.Herein,the authors review TMR,OI,and VCA as additional higher rungs of the reconstructive ladder.

Article 59.1,of the International Code of Nomenclature for Algae,Fungi,and Plants(ICN;Melbourne Code),which addresses the nomenclature of pleomorphic fungi,became effective from 30 July 2011.Since that date,each fungal species can have one nomenclaturally correct name in a particular classification.All other previously used names for this species will be considered as synonyms.The older generic epithet takes priority over the younger name.Any widely used younger names proposed for use,must comply with Art.57.2 and their usage should be approved by the Nomenclature Committee for Fungi(NCF).In this paper,we list all genera currently accepted by us in Dothideomycetes(belonging to 23 orders and 110 families),including pleomorphic and nonpleomorphic genera.In the case of pleomorphic genera,we follow the rulings of the current ICN and propose single generic names for future usage.The taxonomic placements of 1261 genera are listed as an outline.Protected names and suppressed names for 34 pleomorphic genera are listed separately.Notes and justifications are provided for possible proposed names after the list of genera.Notes are also provided on recent advances in our understanding of asexual and sexual morph linkages in Dothideomycetes.A phylogenetic tree based on four gene analyses supported 23 orders and 75 families,while 35 families still lack molecular data.
