In this paper we review the design and development of a 100 J, 10 Hz nanosecond pulsed laser, codenamed DiPOLE100 X,being built at the Central Laser Facility(CLF). This 1 kW average power diode-pumped solid-state laser(DPSSL) is based on a master oscillator power amplifier(MOPA) design, which includes two cryogenic gas cooled amplifier stages based on DiPOLE multi-slab ceramic Yb:YAG amplifier technology developed at the CLF. The laser will produce pulses between 2 and 15 ns in duration with precise, arbitrarily selectable shapes, at pulse repetition rates up to 10 Hz, allowing real-time shape optimization for compression experiments. Once completed, the laser will be delivered to the European X-ray Free Electron Laser(XFEL) facility in Germany as a UK-funded contribution in kind, where it will be used to study extreme states of matter at the High Energy Density(HED) instrument.

针对群养猪攻击过程中身体形变和重叠影响猪身份识别精度的问题,开发一种基于注意力机制和自适应特征融合的深度学习方法以提高猪身份识别精度。录制猪栏中8只猪每天8小时共3天的视频,并筛选含攻击的16830帧作为数据集。首先,采用ResNet50提取猪的卷积神经网络(CNN)特征;然后,采用特征金字塔网络(FPN)在ResNet50中选择3层不同尺度的特征,以优化这些特征的定位和语义信息;接着,采用自注意力机制提高这些特征的区分度,并采用自适应空间特征融合(ASFF)以融合不同尺度的特征;最后,利用卷积和Sigmoid函数相结合的检测器对猪身份进行识别。使用该方法后,猪身份识别的均值平均精度(mAP)达到95.59%,速度达到37.6 f/s。结果表明,该方法能够在攻击场景下有效识别猪身份,有助于将攻击识别从群体级细化为个体级。

When exposed to cadmium(Cd),rice(Oryza sativa L.)suffers a loss in biomass as well as an increased concentration of Cd within the *** looking for genes that can reduce Cd accumulation or increase Cd tolerance,the wild relatives of rice are under-utilised *** this study,a rapid hydroponic screening system was established using known tolerant and sensitive *** accessions,and found that 10μmol/L Cd concentration appeared to be the optimum for screening Cd tolerance of rice cultivars.

BACKGROUND Changes in N-linked glycosylation have been observed in the circulation of individuals with hepatocellular carcinoma. In particular, an elevation in the level of core fucosylation has been observed. However, the mechanisms through which core fucose is increased are not well understood. We hypothesized that a review of the literature and related bioinformatic review regarding six genes known to be involved in the attachment of core fucosylation, the synthesis of the fucosylation substrate guanosine diphosphate(GDP)-fucose, or the transport of the substrate into the Golgi might offer mechanistic insight into the regulation of core fucose *** To survey the literature to capture the involvement of genes regulating core Nlinked fucosylation in hepatocellular carcinoma METHODS The PubMed biomedical literature database was searched for the association of hepatocellular carcinoma and each of the core fucose-related genes and their protein products. We also queried The Cancer Genome Atlas Liver hepatocellular carcinoma(LIHC) dataset for genetic, epigenetic and gene expression changes for the set of six genes using the tools at *** A total of 27 citations involving one or more of the core fucosylation-related genes(FPGT, FUK, FUT8, GMDS, SLC35 C1, TSTA3) and hepatocellular carcinoma were identified. The same set of gene symbols was used to query the371 patients with liver cancer in the LIHC dataset to identify the frequency of m RNA over or under expression, as well as non-synonymous mutations, copy number variation and methylation level. Although all six genes trended to moresamples displaying over expression relative to under-expression, it was noted that a number of tumor samples had undergone amplification of the genes of the de novo synthesis pathway, GMDS(27 samples) and TSTA3(78 samples). Single crystal Ba_(0.6)K_(0.4)BiO_3 was studied by using *** results show that there is no evidence for the presence of Bi^(5+) in single crystal of Ba_(0.6)K_(0.4)BiO_3;instead,there is evidence for the presence of mixed valent Bi^(3+) and Bi^((3+)-δ).Moreover,the O1s XPS results suggest the presence of mixed valent O^(2-) and O^(1-),and the valence band spectrum suggests the high degree of covalency for Bi—O bonds.

Pharyngitis is common in children,accounting for nearly 12 million visits annually in the United *** pyogenes or group A streptococcus(GAS)is the most common bacterial cause of pharyngitis for which antibiotics are *** treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis virtually eliminates the presence of bacteria from the pharynx and thus removes the risk of subsequent rheumatic *** is spread from person to person via respiratory droplets with a short incubation period of 2~5 *** pharyngitis peaks in the late winter and early spring months when children are predominately indoors for school and *** is also higher in winter months,and while up to 20%of school age children are colonized with GAS in their throat during this time,colonization has not been shown to contribute to the spread of *** low-and middle-income countries and other situations in which crowding is common(e.g.,schools),outbreaks of pharyngitis are *** pharyngitis can occur at all ages and it is most common in school-aged children with a peak at 7~8 years of *** caused by GAS is rare in children<3 years of age and becomes much less common in late adolescence through adulthood.
