The paper presen.s the results of the sterlet sturgeon.Acipen.er ruthen.s rein.roduction.in.o the Kama Reserv.ir(Perm Krai,Russia)b. sterlet fry from hatcheries in.o the reserv.ir sin.e *** effectiv.n.ss of hatchery releases was ev.luated b. mon.torin. gilln.t samplin. *** results showed that the species was reported throughout en.ire Kama Reserv.ir,which con.rasts with 1988-1994 data,when.the species was registered on.y at the upper part of the reserv.ir n.ar the Kama Riv.r *** highest n.mb.r an. b.omass v.lues of catch per un.t effort(CPUE)of the sterlet were foun. in.sub.erged riv.r chan.els-the deepest hab.tats with flow con.ition. which are close to the ecological requiremen.s of the *** distrib.tion.of the sterlet within.the chan.el b.otopes of the reserv.ir is defin.d b. reduced *** b.ggest in.iv.duals an. the widest size ran.e of the sterlet were typical for the upper area of the reserv.ir an. Ob.ectiv.s: Although people with amn.stic mild cogn.tiv. impairmen. (aMCI) b.n.fit from cereb.olysin.treatmen., some still dev.lop demen.ia. The aim of the curren. study was to iden.ify most in.ormativ. clin.cal assessmen. tests to predict the therapy efficacy in.aMCI sub.ects treated with cereb.olysin. Methods: We studied patien.s with amn.stic mild cogn.tiv. impairmen. (aMCI;n.= 53) who had regular n.urocogn.tiv. an. clin.cal psychiatric assessmen.s an. were treated with cereb.olysin.i.v. in.usion. 20 × 30 ml twice a year ov.r three years period. Data were an.lyzed usin. n.n.parametric statistics, cluster an. lin.ar discrimin.n. an.lyses. Results: Comb.n.d mathematical modelin. en.b.ed to predict cogn.tiv. declin. from aMCI to demen.ia in.the cereb.olysin.treated patien.s b.sed on.their in.tial n.urocogn.tiv. assessmen. scores. We iden.ified a “demen.ia risk group” with fast cogn.tiv. declin. (i.e. low efficacy of the treatmen.). Lower b.selin. scores in.the Mattis Demen.ia Ratin. Scale Memory sub.est, Min.-Men.al State Examin.tion.(MMSE), 10 word list immediate recall, an. Fron.al Assessmen. b.ttery tests when.accompan.ed b. higher depression.score (Hamilton.Depression.Ratin. Scale) suggest poor progn.sis for aMCI patien.s treated with cereb.olysin. Chan.es in.scores on.the MMSE, b.ston.n.min. test, Digit span.forward, an. This paper outlin.s the results of experimen.al study of the dyn.mic rock failure b.sed on.the comparison.of dry an. saturated limeston. samples ob.ain.d durin. the dyn.mic compression.an. split tests. The tests were performed usin. the Kolsky method an. its modification. for dyn.mic splittin.. The mechan.cal data(e.g. stren.th, time an. en.rgy characteristics) of this material at high strain.rates are ob.ain.d. It is shown.that these characteristics are sen.itiv. to the strain.rate. A un.fied in.erpretation.of these rate effects, b.sed on.the structuraletemporal approach, is hereb. presen.ed. It is demon.trated that the temporal depen.en.e of the dyn.mic compressiv. an. split ten.ile stren.ths of dry an. saturated limeston. samples can.b. predicted b. the in.ub.tion.time criterion. Prev.ously discov.red possib.lities to optimize(min.mize) the en.rgy in.ut for the failure process is discussed in.con.ection.with in.ustrial rock failure processes. It is shown.that the optimal en.rgy in.ut v.lue associated with critical load, which is required to in.tialize failure in.the rock media, stron.ly depen.s on.the in.ub.tion.time an. the impact duration. The optimal load shapes, which min.mize the momen.um for a sin.le failure impact, are demon.trated. Through this in.0}stigation. a possib.e approach to reduce the specific en.rgy required for rock cuttin. b. mean. of high-frequen.y v.b.ation. is also discussed.
