Red blood cells(RbCs)are able to interact and communicate with endothelial cells(ECs).Under some pathological or even normal conditions,the adhesion of RbCs to the endothelium can be ***,the mechanisms and many aspects of the interaction between RbCs and ECs are not fully *** this work,we considered the interaction of single RbCs with single ECs in vitro aiming to quantitatively determine the force of this interaction using laser *** were performed under different concentrations of proaggregant macromolecules and in the presence or absence of tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)activating the *** have shown that the strength of interaction depends on the concentration of fibrinogen or dextran proaggregant macromolecules in the environment.A nonlinear increase in the force of cells interaction(from 0.4 pN to 21 pN)was observed along with an increase in the fibrinogen con-centration(from 3 mg/mL to 9 mg/mL)in blood plasma,as well as with the addition of dextran macromolecules(from 10 mg/mL to 60 mg/mL).Dextran with a higher molecular mass(500 kDa)enhances the adhesion of RbCs to ECs greater compared to the dextran with a lower molecular mass(70 kDa).With the preliminary activation of ECs with TNF-α,the force of interaction ***,the adhesion of echinocytes to EC compared to discocytes is significantly *** results may help to better understand the process of interaction between RbCs and ECs.

In solar cells,hybrid halide perovskites operate under constant bias,thus their stability towards electric field-induced degradation is of key *** we report on evidence of previously unidentified electric field-induced transitions and degradation path of CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)(MAPbI_(3))using elemental and phase *** films of MAPbI_(3) were deposited onto 1-2μm-pitch interdigitated electrodes and subjected to direct current(DC)-*** MAPbI_(3) layer polarized withbution to methylammonium-rich MAPbI_(3)-y(ybI3(xboth methylammonium and iodine provokes degradation of MAPbI_(3).Using nanofocus grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering(GIWAXS),we unambiguously showed that the bias voltage induces the transformation ofβ-MAPbI_(3) to metastableδ-MAPbI_(3) polymorph via alignment of polar organic cation with the electric *** transformation is partially reversible upon field ***,once formed,δ-MAPbI_(3) disrupts the morphology of pristine film and undergoes decomposition toβ-MAPbI_(3)(β-MAPI)and PbI_(2).With the aforementioned compositional and phase changes,only MA-rich part serves as the charge separation layer,while the I-rich excitation is blocked with the PbI_(2) barrier serving as holes trapping *** observations reveal the intermediate steps in electric-field-driven degradation of halide perovskites and show the role of polar cations in the process,which is instructive for further material design with higher stability metrics.

In the mammalian central nervous system（CNS）coupling of neurons by gap junctions and the expression of neuronal gap junction protein,connexin 36（Cx36）rapidly increases（usually during 1–2 hours）following a wide range of neuronal injuries,including ischemia,traumatic brain injury（TbI）,spinal cord injury and epilepsy（reviewed in belousov and Fontes,2013）.Pharmacological blockade or genetic elimi-nation of Cx36-containing gap junctions dramatically re- duce neuronal death in animal models of ischemia, TbI and epilepsy and prevent NMDA receptor （NMDAR）-mediated excitotoxicity （belousov and Fontes, 2014）.

Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is one of the most appealing photonic modalities for cancer treatment based on anticancer activity of light-induced photosensitizer-mediated reactive oxygen species(ROS),but a limited depth of light penetration into tissues does not make possible the treatment of deep-seated neoplasms and thus complicates its widespread clinical ***,we introduce the concept of genetically encoded bioluminescence resonance energy transfer(bRET)-activated PDT,which combines an internal light source and a photosensitizer(PS)in a single-genetic construct,which can be delivered to tumors seated at virtually unlimited depth and then triggered by the injection of a substrate to initiate their *** illustrate the concept,we engineered genetic NanoLuc-miniSOG bRET pair,combining NanoLuc luciferase flashlight and phototoxic flavoprotein miniSOG,which generates ROS under luciferase-substrate *** prove the concept feasibility in mice bearing NanoLuc-miniSOG expressing tumor,followed by its elimination under the luciferase-substrate ***,we demonstrate a targeted delivery of NanoLuc-miniSOG gene,via tumor-specific lentiviral particles,into a tumor,followed by its successful elimination,with tumor-growth inhibition(TGI)coefficient exceeding 67%,which confirms a great therapeutic potential of the proposed *** conclusion,this study provides proof-of-concept for deep-tissue“photodynamic”therapy without external light source that can be considered as an alternative for traditional PDT.

While stable in CH2Cl2, hexane or THF, in the presence of MeOH, self-promoted dimerization of the triarylphosphine-alkene 1, a ligand for Pd-catalyzed reactions, produced an unusual racemic bis(phosphine) 2 in high yield. The reaction of 2 with Pd(dba)2, followed by oxidative addition of p-IC6H4NO2, yielded a trans-chelated Pd(Ⅱ) aryl iodide complex.

Sets of conditions are provided under which （i） lim sup n→∞ ｜｜Sn｜｜/an〈∞ *** ∞ ∑n=1（1/n）P（｜｜Sn｜｜/an ≥ε〈∞for all ε 〉 λ for some constant λ ∈ [0, ∞） are equivalent;（ii） For all constants λ ∈ [0, ∞）,lim sup ｜｜Sn｜｜/an =λ *** ^∞∑ n=1（1/n） P（｜｜Sn｜｜/an ≥ε）{〈∞, if ε〉λ =∞,if ε〈λare equivalent. In general, no geometric conditions are imposed on the underlying banach space. Corollaries are presented and new results are obtained even in the case of real-valued random variables.
