the performance of antimicrobial susceptibility testing(ASt)of bacteria and the interpretation of ASt results for bacteria isolated from animals are complex tasks which must be performed using standard published methodology and overseen by experts in clinical microbiology and in consultation with clinical ***,ASt has significant potential for errors and *** this review,we provide guidance on how to correctly perform ASt of bacteria isolated from animals and interpret the ASt *** emphasis is placed on the various approved or published methodologies for the different bacteria as well as the application of interpretive criteria,including clinical breakpoints and epidemiological cut-off values(ECVs/ECOFFs).Application of approved interpretive criteria and definitions of susceptible,susceptible dose-dependent,nonsusceptible,intermediate,and resistant for clinical breakpoints as well as wild-type and non-wildtype for ECVs,are explained and the difficulties resulting from the lack of approved clinical breakpoints for other bacteria,indications,and animal species is *** requirement of quality controls in any ASt approach is also *** addition,important parameters,often used in monitoring and surveillance studies,such as MIC50,MIC90,and testing range,are explained and criteria for the classification of bacteria as multidrug-resistant,extensively drug-resistant or pandrug-resistant are *** mistakes are presented and the means to avoid them are *** provide the most accurate ASt,one must strictly adhere to approved standards or validated methodologies,like those of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute or other internationally accepted ASt documents and the detailed information provided therein.

Recent reports suggest that aging is not solely a physiological process in living beings;instead, it should be considered a pathological process or disease(Amorim et al., 2022). Consequently, this process involves a wide range of factors, spanning from genetic to environmental factors, and even includes the gut microbiome(GM)(Mayer et al., 2022). All these processes coincide at some point in the inflammatory process, oxidative stress, and apoptosis, at different degrees in various organs and systems that constitute a living organism(Mayer et al., 2022;AguilarHernández et al., 2023).

Off-statistics input data sets are common in axial-flow fans design and may easily result in some violation of the requirements of a good aerodynamic blade *** order to circumvent this problem,in the present paper,a solution to the radial equilibrium equation is found which minimizes the outlet kinetic energy and fulfills the aerodynamic constraints,thus ensuring that the resulting blade has acceptable aerodynamic *** presented method is based on the optimization of a three-parameters vortex law and of the meridional channel *** aerodynamic quantities to be employed as constraints are individuated and their suitable ranges of variation are *** method is validated by means of a design with critical input data values and CFD ***,by means of systematic computations with different input data sets,some correlations and charts are obtained which are analogous to classic correlations based on statistical investigations on existing *** new correlations help size a fan of given characteristics as well as study the feasibility of a given design.
