An exploratory multinuclear magnetic re.onance(MR)and magnetic re.onance imaging(MRI)study was performed on lithium-ion battery cells with ^(7)Li,^(19)F,and ^(1)H measure.ents.A variable field superconducting magnet with a fixed fre.uency parallel-plate radiofre.uency(RF)probe was employed in the *** magnetic field was changed to set the re.onance fre.uency of each nucleus to the fixed RF probe fre.uency of 33.7 *** cartridge-like lithium-ion cells,with graphite anodes and LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(0.3)Co_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC)cathodes,were.*** cell was pristine,and one was charged to a cell voltage of 4.2 *** re.ults pre.ented demonstrate the gre.t potential of the variable field magnet approach in multinuclear measure.ent of lithium-ion *** methods open the door for developing faster and simpler methods for detecting,quantifying,and interpre.ing MR and MRI data from lithium-ion and other batteries.

In line with re.ent studies,where.it has been shown that nanoﬂuids containing graphene have a stronger capacity to boost the heat transfer coefﬁcient with re.pect to ordinary nanoﬂuids,experiments have been conducted using water with cobalt ferrite/graphene *** particular,a circular channel made of copper subjected to a constant heatﬂux has been *** nanoparticles are.sensitive to the pre.ence of a magneticﬁeld,differe.t conditions have been examined,allowing both the stre.gth and the fre.uency of such aﬁeld to span re.atively wide ranges and assuming differe.t concentrations of *** to theﬁndings,the addition of nanoparticles to theﬂuid causes its rotation speed to incre.se by a factor of two,where.s ultraviolet radiation plays a negligible *** amount of time re.uire. to attain the maximum rotation speed of the nanoﬂuid and the Nusselt number have been measure. under both constant and alternating magneticﬁelds for a ferroﬂuid with a concentration of 0.5%and atﬂow re.nolds number of 550 and 1750.

The Puna grasslands support grazing systems that produce meat and wool in multi-species herds,especially from llama(Lama glama)and ***,it is yet unknown whether grazing pre.sure.can modify grassland structure.and Plant Functional Types diversity and cover in Puna *** analyzed the re.ationship between grazing pre.sure.and Plant Functional Types by comparing transects located near stockyards(high grazing pre.sure.and far from them(low pre.sure.and by evaluating the re.ationship between the Plant Functional Types cover to a Grazing Pre.sure.Index(GPI).This index incorporates the heterogeneity of traditional pastoral *** two ecological sites(Ciénego and Tolar),we sampled paire. transects(near-far).Plots near and far from corrals were.similar in all the variables measure. except for plots in Tolar,which tend to have higher total cover,possibly due to fecal fertilization near ***,we re.orded an incre.se in total cover and grass cover at higher GPI in Ciénego,while in Tolar we found lower values of total cover and herbaceous dicotyledonous cover at intermediate intensities of *** only negative re.ationship found was the cover of clonal and non-clonal shrubs,possibly explained by the gre.ter use of these shrubs as fire.ood near *** summary,our study does not show important changes in Plant Functional Types as a function of grazing pre.sure.in the studied grasslands probably because grazing pre.sure.is diluted or diminished when livestock rotates in differe.t are.s and grazing durations ***,the long grazing history with which the Puna has evolved could also contribute to the co-structuration between native vegetation and livestock farming.

sodium hypochlorite has significant potential as a sanitation solution in hard-to-re.ch *** studies have investigated the optimal electrolysis parameters for its production with volumes gre.ter than 1o *** study evaluated sodium hypochlorite production through electrolysis in a 22-L prototype and identified the optimal operating *** were.performed using graphite electrodes with are.s of 68.4 cm^(2) at the laboratory scale and 1865.0 cm^(2) at the prototype scale.A design for experiments with differe.t operating times,chloride concentrations,and electric curre.t intensities was *** optimal operating time,sodium chloride concentration,and curre.t intensity at the laboratory scale were.120 min,150 g of chloride per liter,and 3 A,re.pectively,leading to the production of 5.02 g/L of the disinfectant with an energy efficiency of 12.21 mg of Cl_(2) per *** the prototype scale,the maximum sodium hypochlorite concentration of 3.99 g of chloride per liter was achieved with an operating time of 120 min,a sodium chloride concentration of 100 g of chloride per liter,and a curre.t intensity of 70 A,re.ching an energy efficiency of 42.56 mg of Cl_(2) per *** addition,this study evaluated the influences of the chloride concentration,curre.t intensity,and operating time on the production of sodium hypochlorite at the two scales,and formulated the equations showing the tre.ds of sodium hypochlorite production and energy efficiency in the electrochemical *** 22-L prototype model for production of this oxidizing substance is promising for disinfection of large volumes of water in are.s that are.difficult to access.

In this editorial,we comment on the article by Zhang et al entitled Development of a machine learning-based model for pre.icting the risk of early postoperative re.urre.ce of hepatocellular *** carcinoma(HCC),which is characterized by high incidence and mortality rates,re.ains a major global health challenge primarily due to the critical issue of postoperative *** re.urre.ce,defined as re.urre.ce that occurs within 2 years posttre.tment,is linked to the hidden spre.d of the primary tumor and significantly impacts patient *** pre.ictive factors,including both patient-and tre.tment-re.ated factors,have limited pre.ictive ability with re.pect to HCC *** integration of machine learning algorithms is fueled by the exponential growth of computational power and has re.olutionized HCC *** study by Zhang et al demonstrated the use of a groundbre.king pre.perative pre.iction model for early postoperative HCC *** persist,including sample size constraints,issues with handling data,and the need for further validation and *** study emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts,multicenter studies and comparative analyses to validate and re.ine the *** these challenges and exploring innovative approaches,such as multi-omics integration,will enhance personalized oncology *** study marks a significant stride toward pre.ise,efficient,and personalized oncology practices,thus offering hope for improved patient outcomes in the field of HCC tre.tment.

re.eneration status of tre. species along elevation gradient in temperate hill fore.t was not understood *** re.earch examined the tre. diversity and its re.eneration patterns along an elevation gradient in temperate hill fore.t,central *** were.collected from 300 sample plots within vertical elevation bands of 10,ranging from 1365 to 2450 m asl.A random sampling method was used for data collection in thre. seasons,winter,pre.monsoon and post monsoon *** at bre.st height(DBH)was used to broadly categorize the plant individual into tre.s,saplings and *** tre. species richness ranged from 12 to 25 with density of 350 to 1200 individuals per *** richness of tre. and sapling showed statistically significant unimodal pattern,which peaked at *** showed a strong and positive linear corre.ation with the seedling density(Deviance=0.99,psignificant hump-shaped re.ationship with sapling density(Deviance=0.95,psimilarly,elevations showed a statistically significant negative hump-shaped re.ationship with all tre.s,saplings and seedling stages(Deviances=0.89,0.87 and 0.57).The highest values of the shannon-Wiener index and the lowest value of the simpson index were.found at mid-elevation for all growth *** 92%of tre. species were.found at re.enerating stage;49%in a good re.ewal re.eneration status,32%in fair re.ewal re.eneration,and 11%at a poor re.enerating ***,4%of tre. species were.re.orted as non-re.enerating stages and 4%were.newly introduced ***,the re.eneration status of the study are. was considere. fairly well since sapling(78.5%)>seedling(10.6%)≤mature.10.9%).Among tested environmental variables,elevation and annual mean rainfall were.the most influential factors in the re.eneration of tre. species.
