In recent years, graphene field-effect-transistors(GFETs) have demonstrated an outstanding potential for terahertz(THz) photodetection due to their fast response and high-sensitivity. such features are essential to enable emerging THz applications, including 6G wireless communications, quantum information, bioimaging and security. However, the overall performance of these photodetectors may be utterly compromised by the impact of internal resistances presented in the device, so-called access or parasitic resistances. In this work, we provide a detailed study of the influence of internal device resistances in the photoresponse of high-mobility dual-gate GFET detectors. such dual-gate architectures allow us to fine tune(decrease) the internal resistance of the device by an order of magnitude and consequently demonstrate an improved responsivity and noise-equivalent-power values of the photodetector, respectively. Our results can be well understood by a series resistance model, as shown by the excellent agreement found between the experimental data and theoretical calculations. These findings are therefore relevant to understand and improve the overall performance of existing high-mobility graphene photodetectors.

Objective: To evaluate the cytotoxic effects of spirulina platensis extracts on acute leukemia Kasumi-1 and chronic leukemia K-562 cancer cell ***: Various concentrations of spirulina platensis extracts(0.25–50.00 mg/m L)obtained with different solvents were used to treat cell lines for 72 h. For cytotoxic effect studies, cell viability test with trypan blue solution, MTT assay and microscopic cytomorphological assessment were ***: spirulina extract obtained with 70% ethanol showed significant cytotoxicity in K562 and Kasumi-1 cell lines. With trypan blue solution, IC_(50) values were found to be4.64 mg/m L for K-562 and 3.68 mg/m L for Kusumi-1 cell lines. spirulina aqueous extract also showed cytotoxicity with trypan blue method, at a slightly higher dose; where IC_(50) values were 12.68 mg/m L for K-562 and 2.13 mg/m L for Kusumi-1 cell lines. The IC_(50) values were found 0.40 mg/m L for K-562 and 0.31 mg/m L for Kusumi-1 cell lines for the 70% ethanol extract according to the MTT assay. spirulina extract obtained with water also showed cytotoxicity but the dose was a little higher where IC_(50) values were15.77 mg/m L for K-562 and 9.44 mg/m L for Kusumi-1 cell lines. The effect of cytotoxicity with ethanol extract is quite comparable with that observed for cyclophosphamide, which is a chemical used as anticancer ***: The cytotoxicity exhibited by spirulina extract to cancer cell lines might be due to the presence of phytopigments(carotenoids, chlorophyll, phycocyanin) as well as polysaccharides that were reported previously as constituents of the extract. so crude extracts of spirulina can be used as a source to develop anticancer drugs.

The adsorption capacities for the removal of hexavalent chromium from aqueous solutions by six carbon nanomaterials have been evaluated. single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotubes as received and after oxidation treatment, graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide are the materials with different dimension and functionalization compared in this research. Carbon nanotubes have been modified using hydrogen peroxide as oxidizing agent under microwave radiation. The oxidation treatment on carbon nanotubes has a positive effect increasing the adsorbent–adsorbate interaction. Rate-controlling mechanisms and equilibrium data are analyzed using non-linear models. Non-linear method is proposed as the most suitable method for determining the kinetic and equilibrium parameters. The values of adsorption energy(E) obtained from the Dubinin–Radushkevich isotherm,have been found around 0.371 and 0.870 k J·mol-1, indicating physical adsorption. Therefore, the pseudo-second order model represents better the kinetic experimental data. The results show that the Langmuir isotherm provides a slightly better fit to the experimental data compared with the Freundlich isotherm, indicating homogeneous distribution of active sites on carbon nanomaterials and monolayer adsorption. The separation factors RLare found in the range of 0–1, suggesting that the adsorption process is suitable for all adsorbents. The mechanisms for hexavalent chromium removal have been proposed as electrostatic interactions and hydrogen bonding.

We revise the notion of von Neumann regularity in JB^＊-triples by finding a new characterisation in terms of the range of the quadratic operator Q（a）. We introduce the quadratic conorm of an element a in a JB^＊-triple as the minimum reduced modulus of the mapping Q（a）. It is shown that the quadratic conorm of a coincides with the infimum of the squares of the points in the triple spectrum of a. It is established that a contractive bijection between JBW^＊-triples is a triple isomorphism if, and only if, it preserves quadratic conorms. The continuity of the quadratic conorm and the generalized inverse are discussed. some applications to C^＊-algebras and von Neumann algebras are also studied.

AIM： To study the effect of celecoxib （CXB） on diethylnitrosamine activation through the regulation of cytochrome P450 in a hepatocarcinogenesis ***： six-week-old male sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups, a non-treated group （NT）, a diethylnitrosamine-treated group （DEN）, a DEN＋CXB-treated group （DEN＋CXB）,and CXB 8 d-treated and CXB 32 d-treated groups. The effects of celecoxib on the enzymatic activities of CYP1A1, 2A, 2B1/2, and 2E1 were assessed in hepatic microsomes 24 h after DEN *** in CYPIA1 and CYP2B1/2 protein expression were also evaluated. The rate of DEN metabolism was measured by the production of the deethylation metabolite acetaldehyde, and the denitrosation metabolite ***： DEN＋CXB administration produced a significant increase in the enzymatic activities ofCYP2B1/2 and 1A1, whereas it did not change the activities of CYP2A and 2E1, compared to that of the DEN group. CXB treatment for eight days did not produce a significant effect on enzymatic activity when compared to the NT group; however, when it was administered for prolonged times （CXB 32 d group）,the enzymatic activities were increased in a similar pattern to those in the DEN＋CXB group. The observed increase in the enzymatic activities in the DEN＋CXB group was accompanied by an increase in the CYP2B1/2 protein levels; no changes were observed in the levels of CYPIA1. In vitro, CXB increased the denitrosation of DEN, a pathway of metabolic detoxification. The addition of sKF-525A, a preferential inhibitor of CYP2B, abrogated the denitrosation of ***： These results suggest that the mechanism of action of CXB involves enhancement of the detoxification of DEN by an increasing denitrosation via CYP2B1/2.

Background:This study investigates the effects of exercise training on exerkines in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to determine the optimal exercise ***:A systematic search for relevant studies was performed in 3 *** controlled trials investigating the effects of exercise training on at least one of the following exerkines were included:adiponectin,apelin,brain-derived neurotrophic factor,fetuin-A,fibroblast growth factor-21,follistatin,ghrelin,interleukin(IL)-6,IL-8,IL-10,IL-15,IL-18,leptin,myostatin,omentin,resistin,retinol-binding protein 4,tumor necrosis factor-α,and ***:Forty randomized controlled trials were selected for data extraction(n=2160).Exercise training induces changes in adiponectin,fetuin-A,fibroblast growth factor-21,IL-6,IL-10,leptin,resistin,and tumor necrosis factor-a levels but has no significant effects on apelin,IL-18,and ghrelin compared to *** exercise training favored large and positive changes in pooled exerkines(i.e.,an overall effect size calculated from several exerkine s)(Hedge’s g=1.02,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.76-1.28),which in turn were related to changes in glycated hemoglobin(mean difference(MD)=-0.81%,95%CI:-0.95%to-0.67%),fasting glucose(MD=-23.43 mg/dL,95%CI:-30.07 mg/dL to-16.80 mg/dL),waist circumference(MD=-3.04 cm,95%CI:-4.02 cm to-2.07 cm),and body mass(MD=-1.93 kg,95%CI:-2.00 kg to-1.86 kg).slightly stronger effects were observed with aerobic,resistance,or high-intensity interval protocols at moderate-to vigorous-intensity and with programs longer than 24 weeks that comprise at least 3 sessions per week and more than 60 min per ***:Exercise training represents an anti-inflammatory therapy and metabolism-improving strategy with minimal side effects for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
