The objectiv. of this work is to anal.ze and ev.l.ate the impact of cool.ng systems on photov.l.aic modul.s (for el.ctricity generation), appl.ed at a pil.t Testing Facil.ty. The resul.s obtained during this step are used as input in order to determine the best model.to be appl.ed at a real.scal. Photov.l.aic Power Pl.nt (Pv.P). This methodol.gy is based on the monitoring and superv.sion of the operating temperature of commercial.photov.l.aic modul.s (Pv., both with and without cool.ng systems, as wel. as on the study of the water suppl. design of the cool.ng system appl.ed on a micro photov.l.aic power pl.nt which is connected to the commercial.network. Through the anal.sis of the data, we observ.d that photov.l.aic modul.s with cool.ng systems al.ays operate at l.wer temperatures than the ones without cool.ng systems. During the testing period, the operating temperatures of the photov.l.aic modul.s without cool.ng systems were abov. 60oC (with a maximum temperature equal.ng 68.06oC), whereas the maximum temperatures registered on the sensors of the model.“A” were 43.55oC and 44.75oC, and the ones registered on the sensors of the model.“B” were 46.76 and 48.33oC. Therefore, we concl.de that the photov.l.aic modul. with the cool.ng system model.“A” is the most suitabl. for l.rge-scal. appl.cation, since it was the onl. model.to present temperatures l.wer than the nominal.operating condition temperature (NOCT) of the cel. (47oC ± 2oC).

The extraction of the physical.parameters of l.ng period gratings from the spectral.response is not an easy process. We present a demodul.tion technique to synthesize the physical.parameters of a l.ng period grating recorded in an optical.fibre. The demodul.tion is achiev.d through the impl.mentation of a genetic al.orithm. The extracted parameters are in agreement with the typical.v.l.es known for l.ng period gratings.

This paper aims to study and ev.l.ate el.ctric mobil.ty ov.r time, focusing on the dev.l.pment of the el.ctric car. Methodol.gical.y, in order to accompl.sh this intent, the characterization of the el.ctric v.hicl. (Ev. is made based on the v.riabl.s which determine its performance, such as: assessment of speeds, distance trav.l.d, anal.sis of facts rel.ted to the energy source (el.ctro-chemical.accumul.tors) and anal.sis of the determining system of el.ctric mobil.ty (the el.ctric engine as a function of power (W) and v.l.age (v.). This way, to demonstrate the effects of time, this process wil. be anal.zed from the beginning of the 20th century (1930s) to the present (the first decade of the 21st century), methodol.gical.y structured in 4 cycl.s that show the performance of the Ev. The resul.s show the existence of v.l.erabil.ties and of el.ctric mobil.ty potential. as wel. as the nuances of the dev.l.pment of the el.ctric v.hicl. al.ng the years and al.ng the transformations in what is considered state-of-the-art. Thus, in the case of batteries, it is ev.dent that the l.thium-ion type used nowadays rev.al. better resul.s due to its higher specific efficient energy, which maximizes energy autonomy to 200 km. In the beginning, the insertion of the el.ctric v.hicl. was commercial.y harmed by the fundamental.l.mitations of batteries as a power source. Four genetical.y contrasting rice v.rieties (IAC-47, Bico Ganga, Arroz de Rev.nda and Manteiga) according to Random Ampl.fied Pol.morphic DNA (RAPD) anal.sis were assessed regarding expression of the genes OsNRT1.1, OsNRT2.1 and OsNRT2.2 and the nitrate uptake kinetics parameters (Km and v.ax). Up to 250-fol. increases in the induction of gene expression after nitrate resuppl. were observ.d for the high-affinity transporter (OsNRT2.1 and OsNRT2.2). Howev.r, no significant v.riations in v.ax among the v.rieties were obtained. The l.wer v.l.e of Km of the IAC-47 cul.iv.r in rel.tion to the Arroz de Rev.nda v.riety suggests a greater rol. of high-affinity transporter genes. These resul.s indicate that cl.ser attention shoul. be paid to the expression l.v.l. of these genes in sel.cting v.rieties aiming to enhance nitrogen uptake efficiency.
