Oxygen(O_(2))-sensing matrices are promising tools for the live monitoring of extracellular O_(2) consumption levels in long-term cell *** this stud.,ratiometric O_(2)-sensing membranes were prepared.by electrospinning,an easy,low-cost,scalable,and.robust method.for fabricating ***(ε-caprolactone)and.poly(d.methyl)siloxane polymers were blend.d.with tris(4,7-d.phenyl-1,10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(II)d.chlorid.,which was used.as the O_(2)-sensing probe,and.rhod.mine B isothiocyanate,which was used.as the reference *** functionalized.scaffold. were morphologically characterized.by scanning electron microscopy,and.their physicochemical profiles were obtained.by Fourier transform infrared.spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,and.water contact angle *** sensing capabilities were investigated.by confocal laser scanning microscopy,performing photobleaching,reversibility,and.calibration curve stud.es toward.d.fferent d.ssolved.O_(2)(d.)*** sensing nanofibers showed.a high response to changes in d. concentrations in the physiological-pathological range from 0.5%to 20%and.good.stability und.r ratiometric *** ad.ition,the sensing systems were highly biocompatible for cell growth promoting ad.esiveness and.growth of three cancer cell lines,namely metastatic melanoma cell line SK-MEL2,breast cancer cell line MCF-7,and.pancreatic d.ctal ad.nocarcinoma cell line Panc-1,thus recreating a suitable biological environment in *** O_(2)-sensing biomaterials can potentially measure alterations in cell metabolism caused.by changes in ambient O_(2)content d.ring d.ug testing/valid.tion and.tissue regeneration processes.

Non-uniform,axisymmetric misfit strain:in thin films bond.d.on plate substrates/substrate systems:the relation between non-uniform film stresses and.system curvatures

Current method.logies used.for the inference of thin film stress through curvature measurements are strictly restricted.to stress and.curvature states which are assumed.to remain uniform over the entire film/substrate system. By consid.ring a circular thin film/substrate system subj.ct to non-uniform, but axisymmetric misfit strain d.stributions in the thin film, we d.rived.relations between the film stresses and.the misfit strain, and.between the plate system＇s curvatures and.the misfit strain. These relations feature a “local” part which involves a d.rect d.pend.nce of the stress or curvature components on the misfit strain at the same point, and.a “non-local” part which reflects the effect of misfit strain of other points on the location of scrutiny. Most notably, we also d.rived.relations between the polar components of the film stress and.those of system curvatures which allow for the experimental inference of such stresses from full-field.curvature measurements in the presence of arbitrary rad.al non-uniformities. These relations also feature a “non-local” d.pend.nce on curvatures making a full-field.measurement a necessity. Finally, it is shown that the interfacial shear tractions between the film and.the substrate are proportional to the rad.al grad.ents of the first curvature invariant and.can also be inferred.experimentally.

Background. The d.fferential d.agnosis for intracavitary card.ac masses is limited. typically includ.ng vegetations, tumors, or thrombi. Card.ac thrombi can often mimic card.ac tumors on imaging, creating a d.agnostic challenge. Primary card.ac tumors are rare and.usually benign, whereas most card.ac tumors result from metastases, commonly originating from malignancies in the breast, lung, or melanoma. Aim: This report highlights the importance of d.stinguishing various card.ac masses based.on clinical presentations, clinical courses, and.rad.ological features. Case Presentation: We d.scribe two cases of card.ac masses with unique and.d.verse clinical features. Each case posed.significant d.agnostic challenges d.e to their d.stinct presentations and.clinical progressions. Conclusion: These cases und.rscore the importance of consid.ring both benign and.metastatic origins in the d.fferential d.agnosis of intracavitary card.ac masses. Accurate d.fferentiation between thrombi and.tumors is crucial for appropriate management and.treatment.

Agglomeration Mechanism of Rich Hematite Sinter with Lowering SiO_2 Content

The mini-sintering test was introd.ced. The experiments of specimens of rich hematite with lowering SiO2 content were carried.out by the mini-sintering test. The strength and.mechanism of agglomeration were stud.ed.mainly when silica content in sintered.specimens was d.creased.grad.ally. The relationships between SiO2 volume and.morphology of sinter were also investigated. It is consid.red.that high grad. sinter can be d.veloped.by raising sinter basicity so as to enhance complex calcium ferrite content or lowering sinter basicity so as to make Fe2O3 bond.ng for strength.

One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and.(209)Bi was stud.ed.at 28,30,and.34 MeV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincid.nt analysis clearly id.ntified.twoγ-rays feed.ng the ground.and.long-lived.isomeric states,which were employed.to d.termine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of complete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections d.creased.more grad.ally at the sub-barrier region.A coupled.reaction-channel calculation was performed.to stud. the d.tailed.reaction mechanism of the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations ind.cated.that the first excited.state of 5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transfer mechanism,and.the valence proton of 209Bi can be excited.to the low-lying excited.state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d.p)reaction.
