The current mathematical model explains the influence of non-linear thermal radiation on the Casson liquid flow over a moving thin needle by considering buongiorno’s nanofluid *** influences of Stefan blowing,Dufour and Soret effects are also considered in the *** equations which represent the described flow pattern are reduced to ordinary differential equations(ODEs)by using apt similarity transformations and then they are numerically solved with runge–Kutta-Fehlberg’s fourth fifth-order method(rKF-45)with shooting *** impacts of pertinent parameters on thermal,mass and velocity curves are deliberated *** friction,rate of heat and mass transfer are also discussed *** reveal that,the increase in values of brownian motion,thermophoresis,Dufour number,heating and radiative parameters improves the heat *** increasing values of the Schmidt number deteriorates the mass transfer but a converse trend is seen for increasing values of the Soret ***,the escalating values of the radiative parameter decays the rate of heat transfer.

In this paper,we develop a three-dimensional fractional-order cancer *** proposed model involves the interaction among tumor cells,healthy tissue cells and activated effector *** detailed analysis of the equilibrium points is ***,the existence and uniqueness of the solution are *** fractional derivative is considered in the Caputo *** simulations are performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical *** outcome of the study reveals that the order of the fractional derivative has a significant effect on the dynamic ***,the calculated Lyapunov exponents give the existence of chaotic behavior of the proposed ***,it is observed from the obtained results that decrease in fractional-order p increases the chaotic behavior of the model.

The present study aims to perform computational simulations of twodimensional(2D)hemodynamics of unsteady blood flow via an inclined overlapping stenosed artery employing the Casson fluid model to discuss the hemorheological properties in the arterial region.A uniform magnetic field is applied to the blood flow in the radial direction as the magneto-hemodynamics effect is *** entropy generation is discussed using the second law of *** influence of different shape parameters is explored,which are assumed to have varied shapes(spherical,brick,cylindrical,platelet,and blade).The Crank-Nicolson scheme solves the equations and boundary conditions governing the *** a given critical height of the stenosis,the key hemodynamic variables such as velocity,wall shear stress(WSS),temperature,flow rate,and heat transfer coefficient are computed.

The effects of Ce on the secondary dendrite arm spacing（SDAS） and mechanical behavior of Al-Si-Cu-mg alloys were investigated. The reduction of SDAS at different Ce concentrations was evaluated in a directional solidification experiment via computer-aided cooling curve thermal analysis（CA-CCTA）. The results showed that 0.1wt%-1.0wt% Ce addition resulted in a rapid solidification time, ？ts, and low solidification temperature, ？T_S, whereas 0.1wt% Ce resulted in a fast solidification time, Δ^（ta-Al）, of the α-Al phase. Furthermore, Ce addition refined the SDAS, which was reduced to approximately 36%. The mechanical properties of the alloys with and without Ce were investigated using tensile and hardness tests. The quality index（Q） and ultimate tensile strength of（UTS） Al-Si-Cu-mg alloys significantly improved with the addition of 0.1wt% Ce. moreover, the base alloy hardness was improved with increasing Ce concentration.

We consider a modified Noguchi network and study the impact of the nonlinear quadratic dispersion on the dynamics of modulated waves. In the semi-discrete limit, we show that the dynamics of these waves are governed by a nonlinear cubic Schrodinger equation. From the graphical analysis of the coefficients of this equation, it appears that the nonlinear quadratic dispersion counterbalances the effects of the linear dispersion in the frequency domain. moreover, we establish that this nonlinear quadratic dispersion provokes the disappearance of some regions of modulational instability in the dispersion curve compared to the results earlier obtained by Pelap et al.(Phys. rev. E 91 022925(2015)). We also find that the nonlinear quadratic dispersion limit considerably affects the nature, stability, and characteristics of the waves which propagate through the system. Furthermore, the results of the numerical simulations performed on the exact equations describing the network are found to be in good agreement with the analytical predictions.

The heavy ion-acoustic solitary waves(HIASWs) in a magnetized, collisionless, space plasma system(containing dynamical heavy ions and bi-kappa distributed electrons of two distinct temperatures) have been theoretically investigated. The Korteweg-de Vries(K-dV), modified K-dV(mK-dV), and higher-order mK-dV(HmK-dV) equations are derived by employing the reductive perturbation method. The basic features of HIASWs(viz. speed, polarity,amplitude, width, etc.) are found to be significantly modified by the effects of number density and temperature of different plasma species, and external magnetic field(obliqueness). The K-dV and Hm-Kd V equations give rise to both compressive and rarefactive solitary structures, whereas the mK-dV equation supports only the compressive solitary structures. The implication of our results in some space and laboratory plasma situations are briefly discussed.

The characterization of the physical and chemical properties of coal on a standard provides an understanding of its characteristics towards spontaneous *** trend of linear relationships between coal recording standards(%air-dried(ad),%dry(db)and%dry ash free(daf)basis)of 30 selected coal samples from the Witbank coalfields and spontaneous combustion liability indices were *** spontaneous combustion liability indices of these samples were evaluated by crossing point temperature(XPT),Stage II Slope,FCC(Feng,Chakravorty,Cochrane)and the Wits-Ehac tests,while the coal properties were determined from the proximate and ultimate *** results obtained from these coal properties were related to different liability indices to develop trends of linear relationships using regression *** ad basis indicated higher correlation coefficients than the db and daf basis for the XPT and FCC index,while the daf showed higher correlation coefficients than the ad and db basis for the Wits-Ehac *** was found that the trend of linear relationships of these coal properties differs from one liability index to the *** XPTs showed a better trend followed by the Stage II Slope on the coal properties among the spontaneous combustion liability indices evaluated.

The acoustic behavior of double-walled laminated composite panels consisting of two porous and air gap middle layers is studied within the classical laminated plate theory （CLPT）. Thus, viscous and inertia coupling in a dynamic equation, as well as stress transfer, thermal and elastic coupling of porous material ave based on the biot theory. In addition, the wave equations are extracted according to the vibration equation of composite layers. The transmission loss （TL） of the structure is then calculated by solving these equations simultaneously. Statistical energy analysis （Sea） is developed to divide the structure into specific subsystems, and power transmission is extracted with balancing power flow equations of the subsystems. Comparison between the present work and the results reported elsewhere shows excellent agreement. The results also indicate that, although favorable enhancement is seen in noise control particularly at high frequencies, the corresponding parameters associated with fluid phase and solid phase of the porous layer are important on TL according to the boundary condition interfaces. Finally, the influence of composite material and stacking sequence on power transmission is discussed.

A hydrochemical and tracer study （uranine injection） was conducted in Jurassic limestone of the Posht-e-Naz area in the Alborz belt to evaluate hydraulic relations between a large diameter （about 100m） sinkhole and springs and aquifer parameters. A main goal of the project was to find out the source of turbidity of the Emarate drinking water supply spring （SP4） in rainy season. Springs discharge were measured and hydrochemical investigation were carried out. The uranine tracer was injected and eight springs, three wells and the Neka river were selected and totally 989 samples in 107 days were collected. Hydrochemical data demonstrated a relative connection between sinkhole （Shl） and spring （SP4）. The results of the tracing by sampling water indicated only a hydraulic connection between Sange- Nou spring （SP8） and injection point, while the charcoal packets analysis revealed tracer exits from spring numbers SP1, SP3, SP4, SP5, SP8, in wells W1 and W2, and in the Neka river. The concentration - time curves of charcoal packets for qualitative analysis and exit tracer for quantitative analysis is also assessed.
