Efficiency-first spraying mission arrangement optimization with multiple UAVs in heterogeneous farmland with varying pesticide requirements

Combining multiple crop protection Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)as a team for a scheduled spraying mission over farmland now is a common way to significantly increase ***,given some issues such as different configurations,irregular borders,and especially varying pesticide requirements,it is more important and more complex than other multi-Agent Systems(MASs)in common *** this work,we focus on the mission arrangement of UAVs,which is the foundation of other high-level cooperations,systematically propose Efficiency-first Spraying Mission Arrangement Problem(ESMAP),and try to construct a united problem framework for the mission arrangement of crop protection ***,to characterise the differences in sub-areas,the varying pesticide requirement per unit is well considered based on Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI).Firstly,the mathematical model of multiple crop-protection UAVs is established and ESMAP is ***,an acquisition method of a farmland’s NDVI map is proposed,and the calculation method of pesticide volume based on NDVI is ***,an improved genetic Algorithm(gA)is proposed to solve ESMAP,and a comparable combination algorithm is *** simulations for algorithm analysis are carried out within MATLAB,and it is determined that the proposed gA is more efficient and accurate than the ***,a mission arrangement tested with three UAVs was carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed gA in spraying *** results illustrated that it performed well,which took only 90.6%of the operation time taken by the combination algorithm.

Rare earth inorganic-organic hybrid compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxometalate {SiW_(12)} with fast-responsive photochromism and switchable luminescence properties

Four rare earth inorganic-organic hybrid compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxometalate {SiW_(12)}with general formula [{RE(DMF)_(4)(H_(2)O)_4RE(DMF)_(6)}_(2){SiW_(12)O_(40)}_(3)](RE = La(1),Pr(2),Sm(3),Eu(4),DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide) were synthesized by the conventional solution *** analyses indicate that four compounds are isostructural and are all built from three [SiW_(12)O_(40)]^(4-) polyoxoanions and DMF ligands linked by RE^(3+).Compounds 1-4 are extremely sensitive to UV light and present excellent photochromic properties,in which the coloring and fading time of samples are both no more than 2 min,and the reversible coloring-fading process can be repeated for at least 10 cycles with little fatigue,suggesting that compounds 1-4 can be a series of fast-responsive and durable photochromic ***,the solid-state photoluminescence spectra of compounds 3(Sm) and 4(Eu)display strong characteristic emissions of rare earth ions based on f-f ***,compound4(Eu) has a longer fluorescence lifetime up to 566.74 μ***,co mpounds 3(Sm) and 4(Eu) exhibit the switchable luminescence behavior induced by photochromism,which allows them to be used as potential molecular switches.

Atmospheric iron deposition in a megacity of northwest China:Solubility,speciation,and deposition fluxes

Atmospheric iron has crucial effects on biogeochemical cycles,atmospheric processing,global climate,and human *** this study,atmospheric dustfall samples were collected from six functional areas in Xi'an,China,from 2020 to *** spatiotemporal distributions and deposition fluxes of total and water-soluble(ws)fe as well as the speciation and potential sources of ws-fe were *** areas had the highest concentrations of total fe and ws-fe,which were mainly due to copious emissions of heavy metals during *** total fe concentrations peaked in spring,primarily due to the substantial input of crustal dust,which also led to the lowest fe solubility in this *** contrast,the highest levels of ws-fe occurred during winter due to an increase in biomass *** the water-soluble forms,ws-fe(II)was dominant and accounted for 74.8%of the total amount of *** dust was the main contributor to total fe,whereas biomass burning primarily contributed to peak ws-fe *** average total and ws-fe deposition fluxes in Xi'an were the highest in spring and lowest in autumn,which were related to the distributions of the dustfall deposition fluxes and their fe contents during these *** study provided a broader and comprehensive understanding of atmospheric iron deposition in Chinese urban area,which is of positive significance for understanding atmospheric chemistry and global climate change.

Linear Quadratic Optimal Control for Systems governed by First-Order Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations

This paper focuses on linear-quadratic(LQ)optimal control for a class of systems governed by first-order hyperbolic partial differential equations(PDEs).Different from most of the previous works,an approach of discretization-then-continuousization is proposed in this paper to cope with the infinite-dimensional nature of PDE *** contributions of this paper consist of the following aspects:(1)The differential Riccati equations and the solvability condition of the LQ optimal control problems are obtained via the discretization-then-continuousization method.(2)A numerical calculation way of the differential Riccati equations and a practical design way of the optimal controller are ***,the relationship between the optimal costate and the optimal state is established by solving a set of forward and backward partial difference equations(FBPDEs).(3)The correctness of the method used in this paper is verified by a complementary continuous method and the comparative analysis with the existing operator results is *** is shown that the proposed results not only contain the classic results of the standard LQ control problem of systems governed by ordinary differential equations as a special case,but also support the existing operator results and give a more convenient form of computation.

Doping engineering of iron oxide nanoparticles towards high performance and biocompatible T_(1)-weighted MRI contrast agents

Extremely small-sized iron oxide nanoparticles(IONPs) are of great interest in magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) due to their biosafety as an alternative to clinical gadolinium(Ⅲ) complexes-based contrast *** when the particle size is less than 10 nm,it has strong diffusion ability and deep penetration distance in tumor *** doping can significantly enhance the T_(1)contrast effect of nanoparticles by regulating the surface exposed ***,the nucleation and growth processes of multi-component synthesis systems are complex and difficult to be accurately controlled,leading to great challenges in the synthesis of ultra-small-sized nanoparticles with different components and ***,extremely smallsized superparamagnetic gadolinium-doped iron oxide nanoparticles(gdIONPs,gd_(x)fe_(3-x)O_(4) NPs) with adjustable doping amount and controllable size in the range of 3.5-7.5 nm were synthesized by thermal ***,as-synthesized gdIONPs were surface modified with a highly water-soluble and biocompatible carboxyl-polyethylene glycol-phosphoric acid ligand with high binding ***_(0.65)fe_(2.35)O_(4) NPs exhibited very high r_(1) relaxivity of 10.6 mmol^(-1)·L·s^(-1) in terms of all metal concentrations and 49.0 mmol^(-1)·L·s^(-1) in terms of gadolinium alone,respectively,3 and 14 times higher than clinical T_(1) contrast agents(gd-DTPA).gdIONPs can continuously obtain high resolution images of blood vessels,and can be used as an efficient and multifunctional contrast agent for MR T_(1)*** stable and efficient doping strategy provides an easy and effective method to individually optimize the magnetic properties of complex oxides and their relaxation effects for a variety of biomedical applications.

Highly responsive broadband Si-based MoS2 phototransistor on high-k dielectric

The demand for photodetectors and image sensors has grown exponentially in the past decade in biomedical, security surveillance, robotics, automotive, quality control, image recognition, and military applications, due to their superior quality, broadband detection, lower noise, and economic viability. Here,we report a MoS2channel-based phototransistor over an HfO2/n-Si substrate isolated by an h BN layer. The high photoresponse is achieved through the integration of the photoconduction, photogating, and mobility enhancement process by utilizing excellent features of MoS2, HfO2/Si, and h BN. The capacitive coupling of the photogenerated carriers by high-k dielectric HfO2leads to modulation of MoS2fermi level due to electrostatic doping. Furthermore, the MoS2also contributes to the photogeneration of carriers due to its semiconducting nature, leading to additional photocurrent. Ultimately, the combination of photogating,photoconduction, and swift carrier extraction with remarkable mobility of 11.65 cm2· V-1· s-1results in high responsivity, external quantum efficiency, and detectivity of 4.5 × 10～8A · W-1, 0.72 × 10～6, and 6.20× 1016Jones at 266 nm illumination, respectively. The device also demonstrates broadband photoresponse from 266–1000 nm wavelengths. The high responsivity distinguishes the potential of our device for the future of optoelectronics and broadband image sensing applications.

Sample generation for Security Region Boundary Identification Based on Topological features of Historical Operation Data

Since the scale and uncertainty of the power sys-tem have been rapidly increasing,the computation efficiency of constructing the security region boundary(SRB)has become a prominent *** on the topological features of histori-cal operation data,a sample generation method for SRB identi-fication is proposed to generate evenly distributed samples,which cover dominant security *** boundary sample pair(BSP)composed of a secure sample and an unsecure sam-ple is defined to describe the feature of *** resolution,sampling,and span indices are designed to evaluate the cover-age degree of existing BSPs on the SRB and generate samples closer to the *** on the feature of flat distribution of BSPs over the SRB,the principal component analysis(PCA)is adopted to calculate the tangent vectors and normal vectors of ***,the sample distribution can be expanded along the tangent vector and corrected along the normal vector to cover different security ***,a sample set is randomly gen-erated based on the IEEE standard example and another new sample set is generated by the proposed *** results in-dicate that the new sample set is closer to the SRB and covers different security modes with a small calculation time cost.

Reasonably constructing an atomic interface is pronouncedly essential for surface-related gas-sensing ***,we present an ingen-ious feedback-regulation system by changing the interactional mode between single Pt atoms and adjacent S species for high-efficiency SO_(2)*** found that the single Pt sites on the MoS_(2)surface can induce easier volatiliza-tion of adjacent S species to activate the whole inert S ***,the activated S species can provide a feedback role in tailoring the antibonding-orbital electronic occupancy state of Pt atoms,thus creating a combined system involving S vacancy-assisted single Pt sites(Pt-Vs)to synergistically improve the adsorption ability of SO_(2)gas ***-more,in situ Raman,ex situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy testing and density functional theory analysis demonstrate the intact feedback-regulation system can expand the electron transfer path from single Pt sites to whole Pt-MoS_(2)supports in SO_(2)gas *** with wireless-sensing modules,the final Pt1-MoS_(2)-def sensors array can further realize real-time monitoring of SO_(2)levels and cloud-data storage for plant *** a fundamental understanding of the intrinsic link between atomic interface and sensing mechanism is thus expected to broaden the rational design of highly effective gas sensors.

Atorvastatin, etanercept and the nephrogenic cardiac sympathetic remodeling in chronic renal failure rats

BACKgROUND Chronic renal failure(CRF) patients are predisposed to arrhythmias, while the detailed mechanisms are unclear. We hypothesized the chronic inflammatory state of CRF patients may lead to cardiac sympathetic remodeling, increasing the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia(VA) and sudden cardiac death. And explored the role of atorvastatin and etanercept in this *** A total of 48 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group(Sham group), CRF group, CRF + atorvastatin group(CRF + statin group), and CRF + etanercept group(CRF + rhTNFR-Fcgroup). Sympathetic nerve remodeling was assessed by immunofluorescence of growth-associated protein 43(gAP-43) and tyrosine hydroxylase positive area fraction. Electrophysiological testing was performed to assess the incidence of VA by assessing the ventricular effective refractory period and ventricular fibrillation threshold. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interleukin-1beta were determined by Western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** Echocardiogram showed that compared with the Sham group, left ventricular end-systolic diameter and ventricular weight/body weight ratio were significantly higher in the CRF group. Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson staining indicated that myocardial fibers were broken, disordered, and fibrotic in the CRF group. Western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,immunofluorescence and electrophysiological examination suggested that compared with the Sham group, gAP-43 and TNF-α proteins were significantly upregulated, gAP-43 and tyrosine hydroxylase positive nerve fiber area was increased, and ventricular fibrillation threshold was significantly decreased in the CRF group. The above effects were inhibited in the CRF + statin group and the CRF + *** In CRF rats, TNF-α was upregulated, cardiac sympathetic remodeling was more severe, and the nephrogenic cardiac sympathetic remodeling existed.
