This paper presents the results of studies of the structure,microstructure,dependences of the piezoelectric properties on the electric field(dielectric hysteresis loops,reversible nonlinearity,deformation characteristics)and dielectric properties of the ceramic material PCR-13(based on the PZT system)in the temperature range 300-900K and frequencies of an alternating electric field(25÷2·10^(6))*** character of the obtained dependences made it possible to attribute PCR-13 to ferro-hard *** the HF cathodic sputtering method,PCR-13 thin films were fabricated on Si(001)*** is shown that they are polycrystalline textured,while in comparison with bulk material,the film contains tensile stresses of the unit cell in the plane of the substrate and compresses in the perpendicular direction with the valueε_(33)=-*** capacitance-voltage characteristics of the Al/PCR-13/Si/Al heterostructure were *** reasons for the revealed patterns are discussed.

The properties of the ionosphere Alfvén resonator (IAR) in the general case of an oblique geomagnetic field are investigated. The modes at the frequencies f = 0.2 - 10 Hz well localized within the ionosphere are considered, which are important for the lithosphere—ionosphere coupling. An attention is paid to the modes with quite high quality factors , where . A proper selection of calculated eigenfrequencies has been realized. Two independent simulation algorithms have been proposed. The resonant frequencies and the profiles of magnetic field components of the modes have been calculated. The modulation of electron and ion concentrations at the heights 170 - 230 km leads to essential shifting the resonant frequencies.

In this work,we demonstrate the power of a simple top-down electrochemical erosion approach to obtain Pt nanoparticle with controlled shapes and sizes(in the range from-2 to-10 nm).Carbon supported nanoparticles with narrow size distributions have been synthesized by applying an alternating voltage to macroscopic bulk platinum structures,such as disks or *** using any surfactants,the size and shape of the particles can be changed by adjusting simple parameters such as the applied potential,frequency and electrolyte *** instance,application of a sinusoidal AC voltage with lower frequencies results in cubic nanoparticles;whereas higher frequencies lead to predominantly spherical *** the other hand,the amplitude of the,sinusoidal signal was found to affect the particle size;the lower the amplitude of the applied AC signal,the smaller the resulting particle ***/C catalysts prepared by this approach showed 0.76 A/mg mass activity towards the oxygen reduction reaction which is-2 times higher than the state-of-the-art commercial Pt/C catalyst(0.42 A/mg)from *** addition to this,we discussed the mechanistic insights about the nanoparticle formation pathways.

High-temperature annealing of (■01) β-Ga2O3 substrates for reducing structural defects after diamond sawing

A commercial epi-ready(■01) β-Ga2O3wafer was investigated upon diamond sawing into pieces measuring 2.5 ×3 mm2. The defect structure and crystallinity in the cut samples has been studied by X-ray diffraction and a selective wet etching technique. The density of defects was estimated from the average value of etch pits calculated, including near-edge regions, and was obtained close to 109 cm-2. Blocks with lattice orientation deviated by angles of 1-3 arcmin, as well as non-stoichiometric fractions with a relative strain about(1.0-1.5) × 10-4in the [■01] direction, were found. Crystal perfection was shown to decrease significantly towards the cutting lines of the samples. To reduce the number of structural defects and increase the crystal perfection of the samples via increasing defect motion mobility, the thermal annealing was employed. Polygonization and formation of a mosaic structure coupled with dislocation wall appearance upon 3 h of annealing at 1100 °C was observed. The fractions characterized by non-stoichiometry phases and the block deviation disappeared. The annealing for 11 h improved the homogeneity and perfection in the crystals. The average density of the etch pits dropped down significantly to 8 × 106cm-2.

Photocatalytic activity of doped polyaniline nanopowders with different molar ratio of An/O （aniline^oxidizer） has been studied in the process of photocatalytic decolorization of aqueous solutions of methylene blue. By means of scanning electron microscopy and low-temperature N2 adsorption method, it was found that doped PANI （polyaniline） nanopowders have the particles size of 30-50 nm with the specific surface area of 20-35 m2.g＂~. It was found that PANI photocatalytic activity essentially depends on molar ratio of An/O and adsorption interactions between the dye molecules and catalytic active centers on PANI surface and these interactions are greatly affected by pH of the solution 9.2. An optimum of the synergetic effect is found for an initial molar ratio of aniline to oxidizer equal to 0.8.

A new method for the generation of high charged state metal ion beams is developed. This method is based on microwave heating of vacuum arc plasma in a magnetic trap under electron cyclotron resonance （ECR） conditions. Two gyrotrons for plasma heating were used, which were with the following parameters. The first is with a wave frequency of 37.5 GHz, a pulse duration of 1 ms and power of 100 kW, another is with 75 GHz, 0.15 ms and 400 kW. Two different magnetic traps were considered for vacuum arc plasma confinement. The first one is a simple mirror trap. Such system was already investigated and could provide high charge state ions. The second trap was with a cusp magnetic field configuration with native ＂minimum-B＂ field structure. Two different ways of metal plasma injection into the magnetic trap were used. The first one is an axial injection from an arc source located out of the trap, and the second is a radial injection from four arc sources mounted at the center of the trap. Both traps provide up to 200 eMA of ion beam current for platinum ions with highest charge state 10＋. Ion beams were successfully extracted from the plasma and accelerated by a voltage of up to 20 kV.

In this paper we study a continuous time random walk in the line with two boundaries [a,b], a < b. The particle can move in any of two directions with different velocities v1 and v2. We consider a special type of boundary which can trap the particle for a random time. We found closed-form expressions for the stationary distribution of the position of the particle not only for the alternating Markov process but also for a broad class of semi-Markov processes.

The historical annual loading to,removal from,and cumulative burden in the Arctic Ocean for β-hexachlorocyclohexane(β-HCH),an isomer comprising 5e12%of technical HCH,is investigated using a mass balance box model from 1945 to *** the 76 years,loading occurred predominantly through ocean currents and river inflow(83%)and only a small portion via atmospheric transport(16%).β-HCH started to accumulate in the Arctic Ocean in the late 1940s,reached a peak of 810 t in 1986,and decreased to 87 t in 2020,when its concentrations in the Arctic water and air were~30 ng m^(-3)and~0.02 pg m^(-3),*** though β-HCH and α-HCH(60e70%of technical HCH)are both the isomers of HCHs with almost identical temporal and spatial emission patterns,these two chemicals have shown different major pathways entering the *** from α-HCH with the long-range atmospheric transport(LRAT)as its major transport pathway,β-HCH reached the Arctic mainly through long-range oceanic transport(LROT).The much higher tendency of β-HCH to partition into the water,mainly due to its much lower Henry's Law Constant than α-HCH,produced an exceptionally strong pathway divergence with β-HCH favoring slow transport in water and α-HCH favoring rapid transport in *** concentration and burden of β-HCH in the Arctic Ocean are also predicted for the year 2050 when only 4.4-5.3 t will remain in the Arctic Ocean under the influence of climate change.

Influence of Oxygen Addition on Structure and Properties of Titanium Produced by Electroslag Remelting

The current work is devoted to the investigation of oxygen impact on the structure and properties of titanium. For this purpose, oxygen was introduced into titanium during chamber electro-slag remelting by three different methods: alloying by oxygen-rich residues from the Kroll process to final values between 0.053 wt.-% and 0.40 wt.-%, by reaction with the gas phase to 0.27 wt.-% and by introduction of TiO2 nanoparticles to 0.73 wt.-%. The influence of oxygen on microstructure of titanium during crystallization, heat treatment and deformation is determined as well as the effect of oxygen on the hardness and the mechanical properties of the material in different structural states. Furthermore, control methods of the structure formation process by thermal effects are proposed. Results show that the chamber electroslag remelting allows obtaining a homogeneous structure of the ingot in the investigated range of oxygen content in titanium. The hardness does not vary by more than 10 percent in longitudinal or radial direction in any of the remelted ingots.

The results on a dissociation behavior of propane hydrates prepared from ＂dry water＂ and contained unreacted residual water in the form of ice inclusions or supercooled liquid water（water solution of gas） were presented for temperatures below 273 *** temperature ramping or pressure release method was used for the dissociation of propane hydrate *** was found that the mechanism of gas hydrate dissociation at temperatures below 273 K depended on the phase state of unreacted water in the hydrate *** hydrates dissociated into ice and gas if the ice inclusions were in the hydrate *** samples of propane hydrates with inclusions of unreacted supercooled water only（without ice inclusions） dissociated into supercooled water and gas below the pressure of the supercooled water-hydrate-gas metastable equilibrium.
