Based on the density functional theory,the double half-Heusler alloys LuXCo_(2)Bi_(2)(X=v,Nb,and Ta)were studied to predict their structural,thermodynamic,thermoelectric,and optical *** the considered alloys are thermodynamically stable and have semiconductor behavior with indirect band gaps of 0.62,0.75,and 0.8 ev for LuvCo_(2)Bi_(2),LuNbCo_(2)Bi_(2),and LuTaCu_(2)Bi_(2),*** investigated compounds exhibit semiconducting behavior with energy gaps below 0.8 *** impact of heat and pressure on thermodynamic coefficients was evaluated,and the influence of charge carriers on the temperature-dependent properties was studied using the semi-classical Boltzmann *** studied compounds were characterized by their low lattice thermal conductivity at room temperature and low thermal expansion *** alloys exhibit substantial absorption coefficients in the ultraviolet(Uv)light region,high optical conductivity,and high reflectivity in the visible light region,making them highly appealing materials for applications in the energy and electronics sectors.

Expression significance of biomarker MORC4 in colorectal cancer patients and its relationship with pathological features and prognosis

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most common malignant gastrointestinal tumors worldwide,with high incidence and mortality *** To investigate the expression significance of the chromatin-remodeling protein MORC family CW-type zinc finger 4(MORC4)as a biomarker in CRC patients,and to explore its relationship with pathological features and *** A total of 143 CRC specimens and 57 adjacent tissue specimens,surgically removed from our hospital between January 2020 and January 2021,were ***4 protein expression was assessed using immunohistochemistry after paraffin *** relationship between MORC4 protein expression and clinicopathological characteristics of patients was ***-Meier survival curves were plotted to analyze the relationship between MORC4 protein expression and prognosis in CRC *** Compared with adjacent tissues,the expression rate of MORC4 protein in CRC tissues was significantly higher(Pved in the high expression rate of MORC4 protein in CRC tissues among patients of different gender,age,tumor location,tumor diameter,and primary tumor status(P>0.05).However,significant differences were found in the high expression rate of MORC4 protein in patients with different degrees of differentiation,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,tumor-lymph node-metastasis stage,and serum carcinoembryonic antigen levels(Pverity and prognosis,suggesting its potential as an evaluation biomarker,which warrants further investigation.

This article summarizes the epidemiological characteristics and clinical manifest-ations of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).The incidence of NAFLD has been increased dramatically and become the leading cause of chronic liver disease *** addition to its adverse outcomes of liver fibrosis,cirrhosis,and hepatocellular carcinoma,and related complications,NAFLD has recently been found to be associated with the high-risk extrahepatic carcinomas,such as various types of lung cancer(i.e.,lung adenocarcinoma,squamous cell carcinoma,and small cell lung cancer).The presence of hepatic steatosis also predisposes lung cancer to liver metastasis,but has better response to immune checkpoint *** other factors(i.e.,gender,smoking,etc.)are associated with NAFLD and lung cancer remains *** also comment on the reciprocal rela-tionships between NAFLD and components of metabolic *** meta-bolic syndrome components are suggested to facilitate lung cancer development via activating insulin/insulin-like growth factor *** addition,suppressed anti-tumor immunity and accelerated tumor progression could be attributed to the cell-specific metabolic reprogramming in condition of high-fat diet and related *** findings may reveal the role of NAFLD in pulmonary carcinoma and help develop new treatment strategies for this disease.

Establishment and validation of a nomogram for predicting esophagogastric variceal bleeding in patients with liver cirrhosis

BACKGROUND Patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis suffering from esophagogastric variceal bleeding(EGvB)face high *** To investigate the risk factors for EGvB in patients with liver cirrhosis and establish a diagnostic *** Patients with liver cirrhosis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into training and validation cohorts in a 6:4 ratio in this retrospective *** analysis,least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression,and multivariate analysis were employed to establish the nomogram *** curve,the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC),and decision curve analysis(DCA)were applied to assess the discrimination,accuracy,and clinical practicability of the nomogram,*** A total of 1115 patients were enrolled in this *** nomogram was established based on white blood cells(Pvated partial thromboplastin time(P=0.002),total bile acid(P=0.012),and ascites(P=0.006).The calibration curve indicated that the actual observation results were in good agreement with the prediction results of the *** AUC values of the diagnostic model were 0.861 and 0.859 in the training and validation cohorts,respectively,which were higher than that of the aspartate aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index,fibrosis index based on 4 factors,and aspartate aminotransferase-to-alanine aminotransferase ***,DCA indicated that the net benefit value of the model was higher than that of the other *** This research constructed and validated a nomogram with perfect performance for predicting EGvB events in patients with liver cirrhosis,which could help clinicians with timely diagnosis,individualized treatment,and follow-up.

为实现隔震构造质量的自动化检测,提出了一种基于计算机视觉的隔震构造质量检测方法。按照隔震构造图像特征和缺陷情况,将隔震构造分为7类。通过收集和拍摄全国已建的315栋隔震工程图片,构建了隔震构造数据集。参考多尺度残差网络模型Res2Net50,设计搭建了一个隔震构造质量初步检测模型ISDNet v2,该模型在Res2Net50的基础上,采用多个小卷积核堆叠,测试集结果表明:模型对各类隔震构造的识别平均准确率达到95.98%,F1分值均大于0.93,说明该模型对复杂背景的各类别隔震构造实拍图片具有很高的检测精度,检测结果偏于工程安全。对设置水平隔震缝的隔震构造,模型不仅能区别是否有缺陷,还可确定出缺陷位置。

First-episode psychiatric disorder risk from SARS-Co v-2 infection:A clinical analysis with Chinese psychiatric inpatients

The extensive spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Cov-2)throughout China in late 2022 has underscored the correlation between this virus and severe psychiatric ***,there remains a lack of reported clinical and pathological ***,we retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records of psychiatric inpatients for seven days from early January ***-one inpatients who developed first-episode psychiatric disorders within two weeks after SARS-Cov-2 infection were recruited,while 24 uninfected first-episode psychiatric inpatients were selected as *** analyses of clinical manifestations,routine laboratory tests,and imaging examinations were *** investigation demonstrated a 330%increase in the incidence of first-episode psychiatric inpatients after SARS-Cov-2 infection in 2023,compared with the preceding year without SARS-Cov-2 *** cases exhibited psychiatric symptoms within one week of SARS-Cov-2 infection,which resolved after approximately two weeks,with no residual symptoms after three ***-way ANOvA demonstrated a significant difference in the highest fever temperature between inpatients with and without psychotic *** inpatients displayed elevated levels of interleukin-4,interleukin-8,and interferon-α,but decreased levels of eosinophils and *** findings suggest that SARS-Cov-2 may contribute to the development of psychiatric disorders,likely mediated by the virus-induced inflammatory response and neuronal dysfunction in the context of psychological distress.

Effects of Shenqi Xiangyi granules in advanced gastric cancer chemotherapy

BACKGROUND Owing to the absence of specific symptoms in early-stage gastric cancer,most patients are diagnosed at intermediate or advanced *** a result,treatment often shifts from surgery to other therapies,with chemotherapy and targeted therapies being the primary options for advanced gastric cancer treatment.A total of 116 patients with advanced gastric cancer,admitted from January 2021 to December 2023,were selected and divided into two groups of 58 each using the random number table *** control group received FOLFOX4 chemothe-rapy(oxaliplatin+calcium+folinate+5-fluorouracil)combined with intravenous *** observation group received the same treatment as the control group,supplemented by oral administration of Senqi Shiyiwei *** groups underwent treatment cycles of 3 weeks,with a minimum of two *** therapeutic efficacy,immune mechanisms,and treatment-related toxicity and side effects were compared between the *** objective remission rate in the observation group(55.17%)was higher than that of the control group(36.21%)(Pvels were higher in the observation group compared to the control group,while CD8+,regulatory T cells,and natural killer cells were lower(Pvomiting was lower in observed group(Pved in the incidence of other adverse reactions(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Adjuvant therapy with Shenqixian granules may enhance the efficacy of simudizumab combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer and the immune function by increasing immune cell counts,making it a valuable option in clinical treatment.
