Piráis a reading comprehension dataset focused on the ocean,the Brazilian coast,and climate change,built from a collection of scientific abstracts and reports on these *** dataset represents a versatile language resource,particularly useful for testing the ability of current machine learning models to acquire expert scientific *** its potential,a detailed set of baselines has not yet been developed for Pirá.By creating these baselines,researchers can more easily utilize Piráas a resource for testing machine learning models across a wide range of question answering *** this paper,we define six benchmarks over the Pirádataset,covering closed generative question answering,machine reading comprehension,information retrieval,open question answering,answer triggering,and multiple choice question *** part of this effort,we have also produced a curated version of the original dataset,where we fixed a number of grammar issues,repetitions,and other ***,the dataset has been extended in several new directions,so as to face the aforementioned benchmarks:translation of supporting texts from English into Portuguese,classification labels for answerability,automatic paraphrases of questions and answers,and multiple choice *** results described in this paper provide several points of reference for researchers interested in exploring the challenges provided by the Pirádataset.

Differences in Judo Attack Systems Between Weight Categories

Phylogenetic Analysis of RhoGAP Domain-Containing Proteins

Proteins containing an Rho GTPase-activating protein （RhoGAP） domain work as molecular switches involved in the regulation of diverse cellular functions. The ability of these GTPases to regulate a wide number of cellular processes comes from their interactions with multiple effectors and inhibitors, including the RhoGAP family, which stimulates their intrinsic GTPase activity. Here, a phylogenetic approach was applied to study the evolutionary relationship among 59 RhoGAP domain-containing proteins. The sequences were aligned by their RhoGAP domains and the phylogenetic hypotheses were generated using Maximum Parsimony and Bayesian analyses. The character tracing of two traits, GTPase activity and presence of other domains, indicated a significant phylogenetic signal for both of them.

Evaluation of the dust and methanol extracts of Garcinia kolae for the control of Callosobruchus maculatus (f.) and Sitophilus zeamais (Mots)

Insecticidal effects of different doses of the dust and methanol extracts of Garcinia kolae on Callosobruchus maculatus and Sitophilus zeamais were tested. The dust had no significant effect on the two insects, none of them died even at 3 d after treatment. The methanol extracts, however, had rapid lethal effects on both C. maculatus and S. zeamais. The mortality of C. maculatus by the lowest concentration of methanol extracts ranged from 95%-100% whereas in S. zeamais, the mortality ranged from 87.5%-100% and 70%-100% in concentrations of 1 g extract＋3 ml methanol and 1 g extract＋5 ml methanol, respectively, from 24 to 48 h. The least concentration of 1 g extract＋l 5 ml methanol had no significant lethal effect on Sitophilus zeamais.

Effect of a 10-Week Stretching Program of the Triceps Surae Muscle Architecture and Tendon Mechanical Properties

Purpose The present study aimed to test if a long-term passive stretching training causes adaptations of the medial gastroc-nemius architecture and the Achilles tendon (AT) tangent *** A total of 20 males took part in the *** stretching group (n =12),performed stretching exercises for the plantar flexors for 10 weeks,4-5 times a week,which comprised two static positions sustained twice each during 30 *** for the stretching group,maximum dorsiflexion angle,peak passive torque,and muscle-tendon unit maximum length significantly increased after *** other differences were found related to muscle architecture and AT tangent *** Joint amplitude gain after a long-term stretching of the triceps surae was not accompanied by structural or mechanical changes of the medial gastrocnemius and AT tendon,and seems to reflect an increasing stretch tolerance level.

Analysis of TESS field Eclipsing Binary Star V948 Her: A Pulsating or Non-pulsating Star?

Pulsating stars occupy a significant place in the H-R diagram and it was thought that all stars inside the classical instability strip should pulsate. However, recent studies showed that there are many non-pulsating stars located inside the classical instability strip. The existence of these non-pulsating stars is still a mystery. To deeply understand the properties of these non-pulsating and pulsating stars, one needs precise fundamental stellar parameters(e.g. mass).for this purpose, the eclipsing binaries are unique systems. Hence, in this study, we present the TESS data analysis of one candidate pulsating eclipsing binary system, V948 Her. TESS data were used for the binary modeling with the literature radial velocity measurements, and the precise fundamental parameters of the system were obtained. The system’s age was derived as 1 ± 0.24 Gyr. The positions of the binary components in the H-R diagram were examined and the primary component was found inside the δ Scuti instability strip. However, in the frequency analysis of TESS data, we found no significant pulsation frequencies. only the harmonics of the orbital periods were obtained in the analysis. Therefore, the system was classified as a non-pulsator. V948 Her is an important object to understand the nature of non-pulsating stars inside the δ Scuti instability strip.

Catalytic combustion of soot over Ru-doped mixed oxides catalysts

We employed modified substrates as outer heterogeneous catalysts to reduce the soot originating from the incomplete diesel combustion. Here, we proposed that ceria（Ceo2）-based catalysts could lower the temperature at which soot combustion occurred from 610 oC to values included in the operation range of diesel exhausts（270–400 oC）. Here, we used the sol-gel method to synthesize catalysts based on mixed oxides（Zno：Ceo2） deposited on cordierite substrates, and modified by ruthenium nanoparticles. The presence of Zno in these mixed oxides produced defects associated with oxygen vacancies, improving thermal stability, redox potential, sulfur resistance, and oxygen storage. We evaluated the morphological and structural properties of the material by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, Brumauer-emmett-teller method（BET）, temperature programmed reduction（H2-TPR）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, and transmission electron microscopy（TEM）. We investigated how the addition of Ru（0.5 wt.%） affected the catalytic activity of Zno：Ceo2 in terms of soot combustion. Thermogravimetric analysis（TG/DTA） revealed that presence of the catalyst decreased the soot combustion temperature by 250 oC, indicating that the oxygen species arose at low temperatures, which was the main reason for the high reactivity of the oxidation reactions. Comparative analysis of soot emission by diffuse reflectance spectroscopy（DRS） showed that the catalyst containing Ru on the mixed oxide-impregnated cordierite samples efficiently oxidized soot in a diesel stationary motor： soot emission decreased 80%.
