This study presents a facile and rapid method for synthesizing novel Layered Double Hydroxide(LDH)nanoflakes,exploring their application as a photocatalyst,and investigating the influence of condensed phosphates'geometric linearity on their photocatalytic ***,the Mg O film,obtained by plasma electrolysis of AZ31 Mg alloys,was modified by growing an LDH film,which was further functionalized using cyclic sodium hexametaphosphate(CP)and linear sodium tripolyphosphate(LP).CP acted as an enhancer for flake spacing within the LDH structure,while LP changed flake dispersion and ***,CP@LDH demonstrated exceptional efficiency in heterogeneous photocatalysis,effectively degrading organic dyes like Methylene blue(MB),Congo red(CR),and Methyl orange(MO).The unique cyclic structure of CP likely enhances surface reactions and improves the catalyst's interaction with dye ***,the condensed phosphate structure contributes to a higher surface area and reactivity in CP@LDH,leading to its superior photocatalytic performance compared to LP@***,LP@LDH demonstrated notable degradation efficiencies of 93.02%,92.89%,and 88.81%for MB,MO,and CR respectively,over a 40 min *** highest degradation efficiencies were observed in the case of the CP@LDH sample,reporting 99.99%for MB,98.88%for CR,and 99.70%for *** underscores the potential of CP@LDH as a highly effective photocatalyst for organic dye degradation,offering promising prospects for environmental remediation and water detoxification applications.

The self-assembly of hybrid inorganic-organic materials on stationary platforms plays a critical role in improving their structural stability and wide *** this work,a novel two-step hydrothermal approach is proposed for synthesizing stable and advanced hybrid coatings on metal-oxide platforms through the surface modification of layered double hydroxide(LDH)films using novel metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).Initially,Mg-Al LDH nanocontainers,grown on a magnesium oxide layer produced through plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)of AZ31 Mg alloy substrate,were intercalated with cobalt via an oxidation route,providing the metallic coordination center for the MOF *** the subsequent step,a pioneering technique is introduced,utilizing tryptophan as the organic linker for the first time at a pH of *** self-assembly of cobalt-tryptophan complex,driven by the strong bonding between electrophilic sites of monomers and nucleophilic sites,facilitated the formation of a MOF network having a cloud-like structure on the surface of MgAl LDH's *** resulting MOF-LDH encapsulation containers demonstrate exceptional electrochemical stability when exposed to a 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution,surpassing the performance of PEO and pure LDH *** enhanced stability is attributed to the development of a dense top layer and a stable composition within the self-assembled MOF,effectively sealing flaws and preventing the infiltration of corrosive ions into the underlying metallic *** formation mechanism of MOFs on LDH galleries is investigated using density functional theory calculations.

In traditional finite-temperature Kohn–sham density functional theory(KsDFT),the partial occupation of a large number of high-energy Ks eigenstates restricts the use of first-principles molecular dynamics methods at extremely high ***,stochastic density functional theory(sDFT)can overcome this ***,sDFT and the related mixed stochastic–deterministic density functional theory,based on a plane-wave basis set,have been implemented in the first-principles electronic structure software ABACUs[*** and ***,***.B 106,125132(2022)].In this study,we combine sDFT with the Born–Oppenheimer molecular dynamics method to investigate systems with temperatures ranging from a few tens of eV to 1000 ***,we train machine-learning-based interatomic models using the sDFT data and employ these deep potential models to simulate large-scale systems with long ***,we compute and analyze the structural properties,dynamic properties,and transport coefficients of warm dense matter.

In recent decades,fog computing has played a vital role in executing parallel computational tasks,specifically,scientific workflow *** cloud data centers,fog computing takes more time to run workflow ***,it is essential to develop effective models for Virtual Machine(VM)allocation and task scheduling in fog computing *** task scheduling,VM migration,and allocation,altogether optimize the use of computational resources across different fog *** process ensures that the tasks are executed with minimal energy consumption,which reduces the chances of resource *** this manuscript,the proposed framework comprises two phases:(i)effective task scheduling using a fractional selectivity approach and(ii)VM allocation by proposing an algorithm by the name of Fitness sharing Chaotic Particle swarm Optimization(FsCPsO).The proposed FsCPsO algorithm integrates the concepts of chaos theory and fitness sharing that effectively balance both global exploration and local *** balance enables the use of a wide range of solutions that leads to minimal total cost and makespan,in comparison to other traditional optimization *** FsCPsO algorithm’s performance is analyzed using six evaluation measures namely,Load Balancing Level(LBL),Average Resource Utilization(ARU),total cost,makespan,energy consumption,and response *** relation to the conventional optimization algorithms,the FsCPsO algorithm achieves a higher LBL of 39.12%,ARU of 58.15%,a minimal total cost of 1175,and a makespan of 85.87 ms,particularly when evaluated for 50 tasks.

In this study, a Discriminator Model for Glaucoma Diagnosis (DMGD)using soft computing techniques is presented. As the biomedical images such asfundus images are often acquired in high resolution, the Region of Interest (ROI)for glaucoma diagnosis must be selected at first to reduce the complexity of anysystem. The DMGD system uses a series of pre-processing;initial cropping by thegreen channel’s intensity, spatially Weighted Fuzzy C Means (sWFCM), bloodvessel detection and removal by Gaussian Derivative Filters (GDF) and inpaintingalgorithms. Once the ROI has been selected, the numerical features such as colour, spatial domain features from Local Binary Pattern (LBP) and frequencydomain features from LAWs are generated from the corresponding ROI forfurther classification using kernel based support Vector Machine (sVM). TheDMGD system performances are validated using four fundus image databases;ORIGA, RIM-ONE, DRIsHTI-Gs1, and HRF with four different kernels;LinearKernel (LK), Polynomial Kernel (PK), Radial Basis Function (RBFK) kernel,Quadratic Kernel (QK) based sVM classifiers. Results show that the DMGD system classifies the fundus images accurately using the multiple features and kernelbased classifies from the properly segmented ROI.
