Variation in seed morphometric characters, oil content and azadirachtin content of seeds, in vitro shoot cultures and callus cultures among different populations of Azadirachta indica

We studied seed morphometric characters, oil content and azadirachtin content in a medicinally important and insect repellent tree species Azadirachta indica ***. Ten populations were selected from two central Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and twenty candidate plus trees were selected from each population based on tree attributes. Azadirachtin content was estimated in seeds, in vitro shoots and callus cultures through HPLC. Significant variation（p ／ 0.05） was observed in seed morphometric characters, oil content and azadirachtin content among the ten populations. Maximum value for 100 seed weight was obtained in seeds of raigarh（30.51 g） which was on par with seeds of Bargi（28.37 g）and Chhatarpur（26.36 g）. The ratio of highest kernel to seed was also obtained in seeds of raigarh（60.11%）.Kernels from Chhatarpur population recorded the highest oil content（24.20%）, which was equal to that in Sihore（23.75%） and Katni（21.75%）. We recorded highly significant variation in azadirachtin content in seed samples,in vitro shoot samples and callus cultures. Maximum azadirachtin was present in the seeds of Gwalior（0.882%）which was on par with azadirachtin content in seeds of Chhatarpur, Katni, Sihore, Shahdol and *** azadirachtin in the in vitro shoots was present in the cultures of Gwalior（0.218%） which was statistically on par with Sihore（0.176%）. Similarly, in callus cultures of nodal segments maximum azadirachtin was recorded in the Gwalior population（0.033%） which was statistically on par with Sihore（0.028%）. The trees of Gwalior and Sihore populations can be produced in large numbers through vegetative propagation to obtain seeds with higher azadirachtin content.

An overview and experimental analysis of WO3/TiO2 composite with enhanced electrochromic properties for smart windows application

Internationally,standards for electrochromic（EC） requirements in smart window applications have been established,with ongoing global initiatives aimed at elevating them to highly advanced *** paper covers a comprehensive investigation of the structural,optical,morphological,and electrochemical properties of WO3/TiO2composite ***,an experimental analysis of WO3/TiO2was envisaged by a two-step ***,WO3thin films were hydrothermally deposited onto indium-doped tin oxide-coated glass substrates using an aqueous solution of Na2WO4·2H2O at a pH value of ***,a layer of TiO2was electrodeposited onto the WO3thin films.X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the successful formation of WO3/TiO2composite films,with the WO3phase exhibiting a hexagonal tunnel *** electron microscopy revealed the formation of porous nanorods（NRs） of WO3,uniformly coated with TiO2,resulting in a porous morphology of the WO./*** EC performance of the WO3/TiO2films was thoroughly assessed through cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry measurements over a potential window ranging from-2.0 to+1.2 V（versus Ag/AgCl） in a 0.5 mol·L-1LiClO4-PC *** WO3/TiO2composite films exhibited cathodic electrochromism,characterized by a reversible color change from dark blue to *** improved EC performance in comparison to pure WO3films is attributed to enhanced double ion/electron insertion and extraction ***,the WO3/TiO2composite films demonstrated excellent optical modulation properties,with a significant modulation at 633 nm（46.87%）.The coloration efficiency reached a high value of 193.25 cm2·C-1,indicating their potential for practical EC ***,the WO3/TiO2composite films displayed exceptional EC stability,with no significant degradation observed over 2500 cyclic voltammetry *** superior EC performance can be attributed to the synergistic effect between the hexagonal WO3NRs

With the beginning of the information systems’ spreading, people started thinking about using them for making business decisions. Computer technology solutions, such as the Decision Support System, make the decision-making process less complex and simpler for problem-solving. In order to make a high-quality business decision, managers need to have a great deal of appropriate information. Nonetheless, this complicates the process of making appropriate decisions. In a situation like that, the possibility of using DSS is quite logical. The aim of this paper is to find out the intended use of DSS for medium and large business organizations in USA by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Different models were developed in order to understand and predict the use of information systems, but the information systems community mostly used TAM to ensure this issue. The purpose of the research model is to determine the elements of analysis that contribute to these results. The sample for the research consisted of the target group that was supposed to have completed an online questionnaire about the manager’s use of DSS in medium and large American companies. The information obtained from the questionnaires was analyzed through the SPSS statistical software. The research has indicated that, this is primarily used due to a significant level of Perceived usefulness and For the Perceived ease of use.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers immediate insights to penetrate the overwhelming volume of everyday security warnings. The current body of research mostly examines the use of AI in the field of cyber security, but it does not adequately address the visual inspection of AI applications. The advent of AI has led to noticeable structural changes in the field of cyber security. This study facilitates the advancement of theory about artificial intelligence (AI) across several fields. It assists researchers in determining research paths and serves as a resource for corporations and governments to strategize the use of AI in areas such as cyber security, education, healthcare, and work-life balance. Numerous nations, organizations, and writers are intricately linked via cooperation and citation networks. Artificial intelligence is an academic discipline focused on the research and advancement of computer systems, robots, and other creations that possess human-like intelligence, which is defined by cognitive powers, learning capabilities, and adaptability. This research aimed to evaluate the present trajectory and influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on education, healthcare, cybersecurity, and work-life balance. Based on an initial examination, this research focused on evaluating the use and impact of AI in many domains, using a specific narrative and framework. The findings of this study will enable researchers to comprehend the prevailing pattern and the influence of people on the integration of AI into daily life.

Enhanced Lead Uptake by an Association of Plant and Earthworm Bioaugmented with Bacteria

Lead(Pb) is recorded as the second most hazardous pollutant of the *** cases of Pb bioremediation has been reported using single biosystem,but very few reports are available in biological approaches using multi-biosystems to achieve an enhanced bioremoval of *** present study evaluated the capacity of a unique association of Pennisetum purpureum,a hyperaccumulator plant,and Lumbricus terrestris(earthworm)bioaugmented with a Pb-resistant bacterium,obtained from an industrially contaminated site and identified as isolate VITMVCJ1 Klebsiella variicola,to bioremediate *** Pb-resistant gene was amplified in the bacterial isolate *** study was conducted for 60 *** verified that the bioaugmentation process enhanced1)root and shoot length of the plants,2)chlorophyll content of the plants,and 3)biofilm-producing ability of the microbes from the rhizosphere region of the *** total phenolic and flavonoid contents were found to be lower in the plants in the bioaugmented *** study also observed a reduction in the toxic effects of Pb on earthworm and *** earthworm was used to assess the Pb-induced stress syndrome after exposure to sublethal concentrations of Pb in the soil.A reduction in the content of malondialdehyde,a potential biomarker,on exposure to Pb demonstrated the role of the inoculum to alleviate heavy metal-induced stress in *** three symbionts accumulated Pb;Pb was accumulated mainly in the root of the plant,and poorly in the shoot of the plant and body mass of the *** bioaugmentation system exhibited stable and excellent uptake of Pb from the contaminated *** results of the present study suggest the positive effect of the synergistic association of the plant and earthworm with appropriate microbes for the bioremoval of Pb.

Comparative response of seedlings of selected native dry tropical and alien invasive species to CO_(2) enrichment

Global climate change and ongoing plant invasion are the two prominent ecological issues threatening biodiversity world *** invasive species,Lantana camara and Hyptis suaveolens are the two most important invaders in the dry deciduous forest in *** monitored the growth of these two invasive species and seedlings of four native dry deciduous species(Acacia catechu,Bauhinia variegata,Dalbergia latifolia and Tectona grandis)under ambient(375–395μmol mol^(-1))and elevated CO_(2)(700–750μmol mol^(-1))to study the differential growth response of invasive and native *** Seedlings of all the species were exposed to ambient and elevated CO_(2).After 60 days of exposure,seedlings were harvested and all the growth-related parameters like plant height;biomass of root,stem and leaves;total seedling biomass;R/S ratio;allocation parameters;net assimilation rate(NAR)and relative growth rate(RGR)were *** Findings Biomass,RGR and NAR of all the species increased under elevated CO_(2)but the increase was higher in invasive species and they formed larger seedlings than *** under the CO_(2)-enriched future atmosphere,competitive hierarchies could change and may interfere with the species composition of the invaded area.

Optimal batch shipment policy for an imperfect production system under price-,advertisementand green-sensitive demand

In this paper,we consider an imperfect production-inventory system which consists of a single manufacturer and a single *** manufacturer delivers the order quantity to the retailer in some unequal-sized *** separate the defective items,the retailer performs an error-free screening process after receiving each delivery from the *** in retailer’s inventory is allowed and completely *** customer demand is influenced by the retail price,advertisement frequency and greening level of the *** centralized model and the decentralized model based on a Stackelberg gaming approach are developed to determine optimal pricing,advertising and inventory decisions.A cost-sharing contract between the manufacturer and the retailer is implemented,which enhances the environmental performance,advertisement frequency and profitability of the supply chain *** proposed model is illustrated with a numerical *** analysis for some key parameters is carried out and several managerial insights are also highlighted.

Enzymatic digestibility of pretreated dewaxed bamboo residues as feedstock for bioethanol production

Due to abundant availability,biofuel production from bamboo residues is gaining *** biomass and its residues are widely available in the north-eastern part of India,which can be sustainably exploited for green energy *** aim of the present study was to evaluate the pretreatments of dewaxed bamboo residues with dilute alkali(NaOH),and dilute acid,and the effect of pretreatment on biomass hydrolysis was performed with a commercial enzyme(Zytex).Results showed that maximum fermentable sugars were 490 mg/g obtained from 10%biomass with 0.6%(w/v)of alkali,and acid pretreated biomass produced 320 mg/g of sugars from 2%(w/v)acid with 10%*** in biomass structure during the pretreatment process are correlated with FTIR,SEM,and component analysis for lignin,cellulose,and *** studies of the hydrolysate showed that the yield of ethanol was 77%of the theoretical maximum at 36 *** indicate the scope of utilization of bamboo residues as substrates for biofuels,and alkaline pretreatment is an effective pretreatment process for bioethanol production.

Identification of groundwater potential in hard rock aquifer systems using Remote Sensing, GIS and Magnetic Survey in Veppanthattai, Perambalur, Tamilnadu

Water is an essential natural resource without which life wouldn’t *** study aims to identify groundwater potential areas in Vepapanthattai taluk of Perambalur district,Tamil Nadu,India,using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)*** sensing and magnetic parameters have been used to determine the evaluation indicators for groundwater occurrence under the ArcGIS *** occurrence is linked to structural porosity and permeability over the predominantly hard rock terrain,making magnetic data more relevant for locating groundwater potential zones in the research ***-SW and NW-SE trending magnetic breaks derived from reduction to pole map are found to be more significant for groundwater *** lineaments rose diagram indicates the general trend of the fracture to be in the NE-SW *** normalised criteria weights acquired using the AHP model was used to reclassify the thematic *** a result,the taluk’s low,moderate,and high potential zones cover 25.08%,25.68%and 49.24%of the study area,*** high potential zones exhibit characteristics favourable for groundwater infiltration and storage,with factors as gentle slope of<3°,high lineament densities,magnetic breaks,magnetic low zones as indicative of dykes and cracks,lithology as colluvial deposits and land surface with dense *** depth of the fracture zones was estimated using power spectrum and Euler Deconvolution *** groundwater potential mapping results were validated using groundwater level data measured from the wells,which indicated that the groundwater potential zoning results are consistent with the data derived from the real world.
