Potable water is a resource out of reach for millions worldwide,and the available water may be chemically and microbiologically compromised. This is particularly acute in Africa,where water-networks may be non-existent or restricted to a small fraction of the urban population,as in the case of Guinea-Bissau,West Africa. This study was carried out seasonally in Bolama（11°N）,where unprotected hand-dug wells with acidic water are the sole source of water for the population. We inspected the free-living bacterial community dynamics by automated rRNA intergenic spacer analyses,quantitative polymerase chain reaction and cloning *** results revealed a clear seasonal shift in bacterial assemblage composition and microbial abundance within the same sampling site. Temperature,pH and turbidity,together with the infiltration and percolation of surface water,which takes place in the wet season,seemed to be the driving factors in the shaping and selection of the bacterial community and deterioration of water quality. analysis of 16 S rDNA sequences revealed several potential pathogenic bacteria and uncultured bacteria associated with water and sediments,corroborating the importance of a culture-independent approach in drinking water monitoring.

Background: The main objective of this study is to describe the rate of the different serotypes of HPV in cervical cytologies and biopsies in three different periods: 2002-2006 (prior to the implementation of the vaccination programs in Spain), 2009-2011 (shortly after this implementation) and 2020 (almost 15 years after introduction of the vaccine) at a single hospital. Methods: This is an observational, descriptive, retrospective study based on the review of the results of the determination of the HPV serotype using the commercial kit (Genomica®;PharmaMar LTD) in cervical liquid-based cytologies and biopsies at a single large tertiary hospital, Hospital Clínico San Carlos, in Madrid, Spain. We have collected the data from three different time periods: 2002-2006;2009-2011, and 2020 to try to understand the potential changes associated with the use of the vaccine. Results: In these time periods we have reviewed the data from 1420 women. In the three periods the most frequent serotype was HPV 16, followed by HPV 18 or a combination of both. The most frequent low risk serotype was HPV 6 followed by the combination of HPV 6 and 11. It has been verified in our study that the prevalence of the category “others”, constituted by the three risk groups, has undergone a progressive increase, beginning with an infection rate of 65.43% in 2002-2006 to finally rise up to 90.92% in the year 2020. Conclusions: Our study reveals an increase in the number of infections by the HPV serotypes that are not included in the tetravalent vaccine.

Glial proliferation:For the last decades,glial cells have been wrongly believed to have a mere passive supporting role for ***,this notion has clearly changed and it is now admitted that these cells are essential for the correct development and regulation of the nervous *** cell population are commonly subdivided in astrocytes,oligodendrocytes and *** the development,neural stem cells(NSCs)(called neuroepithelial progenitor cells or NPCs)transform into radial glia,the primary progenitor cells for neurons,astrocytes and oligodendrocytes(Zuchero and Barres,2015).Microglial cells,however,derive from a mesenchymal precursor infiltration,meaning that during brain development,precursors generated in the bone narrow invade the nervous parenchyma and differentiate into microglial cells(Zuchero and Barres,2015).This proliferative capacity is preserved in the adult mammalian brain,and neurogenic NSCs are stored in two restricted regions of the central nervous system(CNS),the forebrain subventricular zone(SVZ)and the hippocampal dentate gyrus(subgranular zone).These cells continue to produce neurons and glial cells during the adulthood,being activated after certain signals and leaving the quiescent state(Urbán et al.,2019).This process,in which glial progenitor cells differentiate into mature glia during development and in the adult brain to maintain and regulate brain function,is called gliogenesis(Ardaya et al.,2020).

Maintenance operations have a critical influence on power gen-eration by wind turbines(WT).Advanced algorithms must analyze large volume of data from condition monitoring systems(CMS)to determine the actual working conditions and avoid false *** paper proposes different support vector machine(SVM)algorithms for the prediction and detection of false alarms.K-Fold cross-validation(CV)is applied to evaluate the classification reliability of these *** Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA)data from an operating WT are applied to test the proposed *** results from the quadratic SVM showed an accuracy rate of 98.6%.Misclassifications from the confusion matrix,alarm log and maintenance records are analyzed to obtain quantitative information and determine if it is a false *** classifier reduces the number of false alarms called misclassifications by 25%.These results demonstrate that the proposed approach presents high reliability and accuracy in false alarm identification.

Sweet cherry maturity date and fruit quality are relevant traits for its marketability,transport,and consumer *** this work,sweet cherry fruit development time,maturity date,and commercial fruit-quality traits(size,weight,firmness,soluble solid content,and titratable acidity)were investigated to improve the knowledge of their genetic control,and to identify alleles of breeding *** sweet cherry populations segregating for these traits were used for QTL *** populations descend from cross-and self-pollinations of local Spanish sweet cherries‘Ambrunés’and‘Cristobalina’,and breed cultivars(‘Brooks’,‘lambert’,or‘Vic’).The six populations(n=411),previously genotyped with RosBREED Cherry 6 K SNP array,were phenotyped for 2 *** analyses were conducted using a multifamily approach implemented by FlexQTL™.Fruit development time,soluble solid content,and titratable acidity QTLs are first reported in sweet cherry in this *** QTLs were detected for all the *** were more stable as they were detected for 2 *** these,nine are first reported in this *** major QTLs for fruit development time,maturity date,firmness,and soluble solid content were identified on the same narrow region of linkage group *** traits also showed significant positive correlation(long fruit development time associated with late maturity,high firmness,and high SSC).NAC transcription factor genes identified on this LG4 region may be candidate genes for the regulation of these traits in sweet cherry,as previously described in syntenic regions of other Rosaceae *** of breeding interest on this LG4 genomic region were identified and will be useful for sweet cherry breeding from this and related plant material.
