While wing f.rm is known to dif.er between males and f.males of.the genus c.lic.ides,detailed studies of.sexual dimorphism are *** this study,we analyze sex-spec.f.c.dif.erenc.s in the wing f.rm of.5 spec.es of.the subgenus Avaritia,using geometric.morphometric. and c.mparative phylogenetic.*** results c.nf.rm the existenc. of.marked sexual dimorphism in the wing f.rm of.the studied spec.es and reveal f.r the f.rst time that while there is a shared general pattern of.sexual shape dimorphism within the subgenus,sexual size dimorphism,and partic.lar f.atures of.sexual shape dimorphism dif.er among *** shape dimorphism was f.und to be poorly assoc.ated to size and the evolutionary history of.the *** tight assoc.ation of.sexual shape dimorphism with aspec. ratio suggests that the shape of.the wing is optimized f.r the type of.f.ight of.eac. sex,that is,dispersal f.ight in f.males versus aerobatic.f.ight in ***,the f.c. that interspec.f.c.shape dif.erenc.s are greater and more strongly assoc.ated to aspec. ratio in males than in f.males might be indic.ting that in males the selec.ive pressures af.ec.ing f.ight perf.rmanc. c.arac.eristic. are more heterogeneous and/or stronger than in f.males among the studied spec.es.

c.oss-linked pec.in/high amylose mixtures were evaluated as a new exc.pient f.r matrix tablets f.rmulations,sinc. the mixing of.polymers and c.oss-linking reac.ion represent rational tools to reac. materials with modulated and spec.f.c.properties that meet spec.f.c.therapeutic.***:In this work the inf.uenc. of.polymer ratio and c.oss-linking proc.ss on the swelling and the mec.anism driving the drug release f.om swellable matrix tablets prepared with this exc.pient was ***:c.oss-linked samples were c.arac.erized by their mic.omeritic.properties(size and shape,density,angle of.repose and f.ow rate)and liquid uptake *** tablets were evaluated ac.ording their physic.l properties and the drug release rates and mec.anisms were also ***:c.oss-linked samples demonstrated size homogeneity and irregular shape,with liquid uptake ability insensible to ***-linking proc.ss of.samples allowed the c.ntrol of.drug release rates and the drug release mec.anism was inf.uenc.d by both polymer ratio and c.oss-linking *** drug release of.samples with minor proportion of.pec.in was driven by an anomalous transport and the inc.ease of.the pec.in proportion c.ntributed to the erosion of.the ***:The c.oss-linked mixtures of.high amylose and pec.in showed a suitable exc.pient f.r slowing the drug release rates.

Problems assoc.ated with c.rbon support c.rrosion under operating f.el c.ll c.nditions require the identif.c.tion of.alternative supports f.r platinum-based nanosized *** supported on manganese vanadate(Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6))was prepared by mic.owave irradiation method and c.arac.erized using X-ray dif.rac.ion,f.urier-transf.rm inf.ared spec.rosc.py,X-ray photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py,sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py with energy dispersive spec.rosc.py,and transmission elec.ron *** borohydride oxidation reac.ion(BOR)on Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) was studied in highly alkaline media using voltammetry,c.ronoamperometry,and elec.roc.emic.l impedanc. *** elec.roc.talytic.ac.ivity of.Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) was also c.mpared with that of.c.mmerc.al Pt/c.46 wt%Pt)*** apparent ac.ivation energy of.BOR at Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) was estimated to be 32 k J mol^(-1) and the order of.reac.ion to be 0.51,indic.ting that borohydride hydrolysis proc.eds in parallel with its ***-term stability of.Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) under BOR typic.l c.nditions was observed.A laboratory-sc.le direc. borohydride f.el c.ll assembled with a Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) anode reac.ed a spec.f.c.power of.274 W g^(-1).Experimental results on Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) were c.mplemented by Df. c.lc.lations,whic. indic.ted good adherenc. of.Pt to MnV_(2)O_(6),benef.c.al f.r elec.roc.talyst stability.

Objec.ive： The study evaluated the intellec.ual c.pac.ty of.c.ildren who live in areas that were E （exposed） or NE （not exposed） to environmental pollution. Method： 246 students between the ages of.8 and 11 years and 8 months were evaluated. Data were c.llec.ed between May and June 2010 using a semi-struc.ured questionnaire to examine f.c.ors that were related to c.mpromised intellec.ual c.pac.ty. Intellec.ual c.pac.ty was evaluated with Raven＇s c.lored Progressive Matric.s sc.le. The intellec.ual c.pac.ty of.c.ildren who live in areas that were exposed or not exposed was c.mpared using c.i-squared tests and raw and adjusted analyses were c.nduc.ed using Poisson regression. Results： The general oc.urrenc. of.intellec.ual impairment was 28.9%, with 22.0% in the non-exposed area and 36.1% in the exposed area （p = 0.01）. The outc.me was assoc.ated with the f.llowing： a lac. of.c.mpanionship （RP = 2.77; p 〈 0.00）, maternal educ.tion of.less than f.ve years （RP = 2.13; p 〈 0.00）, the mother not being c.uc.sian （RP = 1.57;p 〈 0.00）, residing in an exposed area （RP = 1.88;p 〈 0.00）, and nutritional risk/malnutrition （RP = 2.83; p 〈 0.00）. c.nc.usions： The results showed a high oc.urrenc. of.intellec.ual impairment and a signif.c.nt dif.erenc. between the environmental areas. Additional researc. is needed to improve the understanding of.several results. The town＇s priorities should inc.ude ef.orts related to environmental health.

The c.mpetitive trends of.the world market have long been f.rc.ng struc.ural engineers to develop minimum weight and labour c.st solutions. A direc. c.nsequenc. of.this new design trend has been a c.nsiderable inc.ease in problems related to undesired f.oor vibrations. f.r this reason, struc.ural f.oor systems c.n bec.me vulnerable to exc.ssive vibrations that are produc.d by, f.r example, impac.s due to mec.anic.l equipment （e.g., rotating mac.inery）. This study investigates the dynamic.behaviour of.a produc.ion platf.rm c.nstruc.ed of.steel and loc.ted in the santos Basin （Merluza f.eld）, sao Paulo/sP, Brazil, when subjec.ed to impac.s produc.d by mec.anic.l equipment （rotating mac.inery）. The struc.ural model c.nsists of.two steel dec.s with a total area of.1,915 m^2 （upper dec.： 445 m^2, lower dec.： 1,470 m^2） and supported by piles. A numeric.l analysis is perf.rmed to assess the dynamic.impac.s on the dec. struc.ure originating f.om the elec.ric.l generators and c.mpressors. Based on the peak ac.eleration values obtained f.r the struc.ure steady-state response, it is possible to evaluate the struc.ural model perf.rmanc. in terms of.human c.mf.rt, the maximum toleranc.s of.the mec.anic.l equipment and the vibration servic.ability limit states of.the struc.ure.

Gamif.c.tion has been applied in sof.ware engineering to improve quality and results by inc.easing people’s motivation and engagement.A systematic.mapping has identif.ed researc. gaps in the f.eld,one of.them being the dif.ic.lty of.c.eating an integrated gamif.ed environment c.mprising all the tools of.an organization,sinc. most existing gamif.ed tools are c.stom developments or *** this paper,we propose a gamif.c.tion sof.ware arc.itec.ure that allows us to transf.rm the work environment of.a sof.ware organization into an integrated gamif.ed environment,i.e.,the organization c.n maintain its tools,and the rewards obtained by the users f.r their ac.ions in dif.erent tools will mount *** developed a gamif.c.tion engine based on our proposal,and we c.rried out a c.se study in whic. we applied it in a real sof.ware development *** c.se study shows that the gamif.c.tion engine has allowed the c.mpany to c.eate a gamif.ed workplac. by integrating c.stom-developed tools and of.-the-shelf.tools suc. as Redmine,TestLink,or JUnit,with the gamif.c.tion *** main advantages c.n be highlighted:(i)our solution allows the organization to maintain its c.rrent tools,and(ii)the rewards f.r ac.ions in any tool ac.umulate in a c.ntralized gamif.ed environment.

Bac.ground: An experiment was c.nduc.ed to evaluate the ef.ec.s of.f.ed restric.ion(f.) and sex on the quantitative and qualitative c.rc.ss traits of.Morada Nova lambs. Thirty-f.ve animals with an initial body weight of.14.5 ± 0.89 kg and age of.120 d were used in a c.mpletely randomized study with a 3 × 3 f.c.orial sc.eme c.nsisting of.three sexes(11 entire males, 12 c.strated males and 12 f.males) and three levels of.f.eding(ad libitum – AL and 30% and 60% f.).Results: Entire males presented greater hot and c.ld c.rc.ss weights(P f.llowed by c.strated males and f.males. However, the hot c.rc.ss yield was higher f.r f.males and c.strated males than f.r entire males. Luminosity values were inf.uenc.d(P sex, with entire males presenting higher values than c.strated males and *** showed higher(P c.nc.ntrations of.linoleic.ac.d and arac.idonic.ac.d in the meat of.the longissimus thorac.s musc.e. The meat of.animals submitted to AL intake and 30% f. showed similar(P > 0.05) c.nc.ntrations, and the c.nc.ntrations of.palmitic.ac.d, palmitoleic.ac.d, stearic.ac.d, oleic.ac.d and c.njugated linoleic.ac.d were higher(P se of.animals with 60% f.. The meat of.f.males had a higher ω6/ω3 ratio and lower h/H ratio, and f.males had greater levels of.f.eding. The meat of.animals on the 60% f. diet had a greater ω6/ω3 ratio, lower h/H ratio and lower c.nc.ntration of.desirable f.tty ac.ds in addition to a greater atherogenic.ty index(AI) and thrombogenic.ty index(TI).c.nc.usion: Lambs of.dif.erent sexes had c.rc.sses with dif.erent quantitative traits without total inf.uenc. on the c.emic.l and physic.l meat c.arac.eristic.. The lipid prof.le of.the meat was less f.vorable to c.nsumer health when the animals were f.male or submitted to 60% f.ed restric.ion.
