The notorious growth of zinc dendrite and the water-induced corrosion of zinc metal anodes（ZMAs）restrict the practical development of aqueous zinc ion batteries（AZIBs）.In this work,a zinc metallized,imide-pillared covalent organic framework（ZPC） protective film has been engineered as a stable Zn2+ion-conducting interphase to modulate interfacial kinetics and suppress side reactions for *** to bare Zn,ZPC@Zn exhibits a higher Zn2+ionic conductivity,a larger Zn2+transference number,a lower electronic conductivity,a smaller desolvation activation energy and correspondingly a significant suppression of corrosion,hydrogen evolution and Zn ***,the ZPC@Zn||ZPC@Zn symmetric cell obtains a cycling lifespan over 3000 h under 5 mA cm-2for 1 mA h *** ZPC@Zn||NH4V4O10coin-type full battery delivers a specific capacity of 195.8 mA h g-1with a retention rate of78.5% at 2 A g-1after 1100 cycles,and the ZPC@Zn||NH4V4O10pouch full cell shows a retention of70.1% in reversible capacity at 3 A g-1after 1100 *** present incorporation of imide-linked covalent organic frameworks in the surface modification of ZMAs will offer fresh perspectives in the search for ideal protective films for the practicality of AZIBs.

Paclitaxel(PTX)is widely applied for the treatment of unresectable and metastasis breast carcinoma as well as other cancers,whereas its efficacy is always impeded by poor *** are one kind of the most successful drug carriers which are capable of solubilizing PTX and improving patients’tolerance owing to excellent biocompatibility and ***,poor compatibility between PTX and liposomes compromises the stability,drug loading and anti-tumor capacity of liposomal *** address this issue,three lipids with various chain lengths,namely,myristic acid(MA,14C),palmitic acid(PA,16C)and stearic acid(SA,18C),were conjugated to PTX via ester bonds and the synthesized prodrugs with high lipophilicity were further formulated into liposomes,*** liposomes show high stability and drug loadings,as well as sustained drug *** chain lengths of lipids are negatively correlated with drug release and enzymatic conversion rates,which further impact the pharmacokinetics,tumor accumulation,and anti-tumor efficacy of liposomal *** rapid nor slow drug release facilitates high tumor accumulation as well as anti-tumor efficacy of *** all liposomes,PTX-PA-loaded liposomes show the longest circulation and highest tumor accumulation of PTX and exert the most potent anti-tumor capacities in vivo,owing to its moderate drug release and enzymatic conversion *** its superior safety,PTX-PA liposomes hold potential for further clinical translation.

The backreaming operation plays a significant role in safe drilling for horizontal wellbores, while it may cause severe stuck pipe accidents. To lower the risk of the stuck pipe in backreaming operations, the mechanism of cuttings transport needs to be carefully investigated. In this research, a transient cuttings transport with multiple flow patterns model is developed to predict the evolution of cuttings transported in the annulus while backreaming. The established model can provide predictions of the distribution of cuttings bed along the wellbore considering the bulldozer effect caused by large-size drilling tools(LSDTs). The sensitivity analyses of the size of LSDTs, and backreaming operating parameters are conducted in Section 4. And a new theory is proposed to explain the mechanism of cuttings transport in the backreaming operation, in which both the bit and LSDTs have the “cleaning effect” and “plugging effect”.The results demonstrate that the cuttings bed in annuli is in a state of dynamic equilibrium, but the overall trend and the distribution pattern are obvious. First, larger diameters and longer drilling tools could lead to a higher risk of the stuck pipe. Second, we find that it is not the case that the higher flow rate is always better for hole cleaning, so three flow-rate intervals are discussed separately under the given conditions. When the “dangerous flow rate”(35 L/s in Case 4),the higher the flow rate, the better the cleaning effect of cuttings beds. Reducing thermal conductivity while avoiding adverse interfacial reactions during sintering is crucial for improving the thermoelectric performance of Bi_(2)Te_(3)based *** ceramic nanoparticles are good candidates for achieving this *** this study,we designed and prepared a series of p-type Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3)nanocomposites decorated with Y_(2)O_(3)ceramic nanoparticles via ball-milling dispersion and spark-plasma *** to the chemical stability of the ceramics,no traces of atomic doping or interfacial reactions were *** measurements revealed that the Y_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles distributed along the grain boundaries acted as energy-dependent carrier-filtering centers to improve the scattering parameter and Seebeck coefficient,contributing to the elevated power factor even with a decreased electrical ***,the incorporated Y_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles and various defect structures they induced effectively strengthened the phonon scattering and suppressed the lattice thermal ***,a peak figure of merit(ZT)of 1.23 at 313 K was achieved for 0.4%Y_(2)O_(3)/Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3),which is 13%higher than that of the *** addition,the Vickers hardness of the composite material was 35%higher than that of the *** study demonstrates the effectiveness of ceramic nanoparticles in synergistic ally improving the thermoelectric and mechanical properties,which may be further extended to other thermoelectric systems.

Controllable design of the catalytic electrodes with hierarchical superstructures is expected to improve their electrochemical ***,a self-supported integrated electrode(NiCo-ZLDH/NF)with a unique hierarchical quaternary superstructure was fabricated through a self-sacrificing template strategy from the metal–organic framework(Co-ZIF-67)nanoplate arrays,which features an intriguing well-defined hierarchy when taking the unit cells of the NiCo-based layered double hydroxide(NiCo-LDH)as the primary structure,the ultrathin LDH nanoneedles as the secondary structure,the mesoscale hollow plates of the LDH nanoneedle arrays as the tertiary structure,and the macroscale three-dimensional frames of the plate arrays as the quaternary ***,the distinctive structure of NiCo-ZLDH/NF can not only accelerate both mass and charge transfer,but also expose plentiful accessible active sites with high intrinsic activity,endowing it with an excellent electrochemical performance for urea oxidation reaction(UOR).Specially,it only required the low potentials of 1.335,1.368 and 1.388 V to deliver the current densities of 10,100 and 200 mA cm^(-2),respectively,much superior to those for typical *** NiCo-ZLDH/NF as the bifunctional electrode for both anodic UOR and cathodic HER,an energy-saving electrolysis system was further explored which can greatly reduce the needed voltage of 213 mV to deliver the current density of 100 mA cm^(-2),as compared to the conventional water electrolysis system composed of *** work manifests that it is prospective to explore the hierarchically nanostructured electrodes and the innovative electrolytic technologies for high-efficiency electrocatalysis.

It is of great significance to design epoxy coatings with superior antibacterial properties and high adhesive properties, as well as excellent processing, superior durability, and high transparency. However, it is still a challenge because of the common complex design and synthesis. Herein, the bio-based monomer protocatechuic acid(PCA) was used as raw material, the catechol structure with high bonding and antibacterial properties was introduced into the flexible alkane segment of ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(EGDE) through an efficient, and green method, and it was cured with isophorone diamine(IPDA) to prepare corresponding thermosets. The cured resins exhibited excellent allaround qualities, particularly in bonding and antibacterial. When 30% PCA was added to pure epoxy resin, the adhesion between substrate and coating increased from 4.40 MPa to 13.60 MPa and the antibacterial rate of coating against E. coli and S. aureus could approach 100%. All of this is due to the fact that the catechol structure present in PCA has the ability to interact with various substrates and alter the permeability of bacterial cell membranes. The architecture of this method offers a fresh approach to dealing with the issues of challenging raw material selection and complex synthesis techniques.

Airborne transmission is among the most frequent types of nosocomial *** years have witnessed frequent outbreaks of airborne diseases,such as severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)in 2002,Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS)in 2012,and coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),with the latter being on the rampage since the end of 2019 and bringing the effect of aerosols on health back to the fore(Gralton et al.,2011;Wang et al.,2021).An increasing number of studies have shown that certain highly transmissible pathogens can maintain long-term stability and efficiently spread through aerosols(Leung,2021;Lv et al.,2021).As reported previously,influenza viruses that can spread efficiently through aerosols remain stable for a longer period compared to those that *** World Health Organization(WHO)has stated that aerosol-generating procedures(AGPs)play an important role in aerosol transmission in hospitals(Calderwood et al.,2021).AGPs,referring to medical procedures that produce aerosols,including dental procedures,endotracheal intubation,sputum aspiration,and laparoscopic surgeries,have been reported to be significantly associated with an increased risk of nosocomial infection among medical personnel(Hamilton,2021).

Random Subspace Sampling for Classification with Missing Data

Many real-world datasets suffer from the unavoidable issue of missing values,and therefore classification with missing data has to be carefully handled since inadequate treatment of missing values will cause large *** this paper,we propose a random subspace sampling method,RSS,by sampling missing items from the corresponding feature histogram distributions in random subspaces,which is effective and efficient at different levels of missing *** most established approaches,RSS does not train on fixed imputed ***,we design a dynamic training strategy where the filled values change dynamically by resampling during ***,thanks to the sampling strategy,we design an ensemble testing strategy where we combine the results of multiple runs of a single model,which is more efficient and resource-saving than previous ensemble ***,we combine these two strategies with the random subspace method,which makes our estimations more robust and *** effectiveness of the proposed RSS method is well validated by experimental studies.
