BACKGROUND Extensive research revealed the absence of reports documenting hypertensive emergencies precipitated by changes in the cervical spine *** SUMMARY We here present a 57-year-old woman diagnosed as having cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR)who was scheduled for anterior cervical decompression and *** post-anesthetic positioning,a sudden hypertensive surge was observed when the patient was in a supine position with the neck being slightly *** surge was promptly reversed through cervical flexion and head *** event however required an alternate surgical approach for recovery—posterior laminoplasty and endoscopy-assisted nucleus pulposus *** the 6-month outpatient follow-up period,cervical flexion and extension activities substantially improved in the patient without any episodes of increase in acute blood *** Maintaining a safe hypotensive posture and performing rapid,thorough deco-mpression surgery may serve as effective interventions for patients presenting symptoms similar to those of CSR accompanied by hypertensive emergencies(HE).This would mitigate the underlying causes of these HEs.

Iridovirus poses a substantial threat to global aquaculture due to its high mortality rate;however,the molecular mechanisms underpinning its pathogenesis are not well ***,a multi-omics approach was applied to groupers infected with Singapore grouper iridovirus(SGIV),focusing on the roles of key *** showed that SGIV induced obvious histopathological damage and changes in metabolic enzymes within the ***,SGIV significantly reduced the contents of lipid droplets,triglycerides,cholesterol,and *** analysis indicated that the altered metabolites were enriched in 19 pathways,with a notable down-regulation of lipid metabolites such as glycerophosphates and alpha-linolenic acid(ALA),consistent with disturbed lipid homeostasis in the *** of transcriptomic and metabolomic data revealed that the top enriched pathways were related to cell growth and death and nucleotide,carbohydrate,amino acid,and lipid metabolism,supporting the conclusion that SGIV infection induced liver metabolic *** integrative transcriptomic and proteomic analysis indicated that SGIV infection activated crucial molecular events in a phagosome-immune depression-metabolism dysregulation-necrosis signaling *** note,integrative multi-omics analysis demonstrated the consumption of ALA and linoleic acid(LA)metabolites,and the accumulation of L-glutamic acid(GA),accompanied by alterations in immune,inflammation,and cell death-related *** experimental data showed that ALA,but not GA,suppressed SGIV replication by activating antioxidant and anti-inflammatory responses in the ***,these findings provide a comprehensive resource for understanding host response dynamics during fish iridovirus infection and highlight the antiviral potential of ALA in the prevention and treatment of iridoviral diseases.

The exact relationship between inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)and gut microbiota(GM)is still *** study aimed to explore the cause-and-effect relationship between IBD and GM by Mendelian randomization *** IBD data used in this study were obtained from Genome-Wide Association *** GM data were from the Dutch Microbiome Project and included 207 taxa and 205 microbiota-associated *** Mendelian randomization analysis was performed to investigate the relationship between GM and *** results demonstrated that susceptibility to developing IBD is negatively correlated with class Clostridia(OR=0.80,P=0.003),family Sutterellacea(OR=0.87,P=0.014),genus Coprobacter(OR=0.90,P=0.009),order Clostridiales(OR=0.80,P=0.003),phylum Firmicutes(OR=0.82,P=0.002)and Coprobacter fastidiosus(OR=0.90,P=0.009).Conversely,the risk of developing IBD was positively correlated with the phosphopantothenate biosynthesis I pathway(OR=1.17,P=0.006),Bacteroides caccae(OR=1.14,P=0.021)and Bacteroides uniformis(OR=1.26,P=0.003).Reverse causality was found between the phosphopantothenate biosynthesis I pathway and IBD(OR=1.03,P=0.04),but not for the remaining specific GM *** conclusion,our study demonstrated a causal relationship between specific GM features and IBD.

The autonomic nervous system plays a crucial role in regulating bone metabolism,with sympathetic activation stimulating bone resorption and inhibiting bone *** found that fractures lead to increased sympathetic tone,enhanced osteoclast resorption,decreased osteoblast formation,and thus hastened systemic bone loss in ovariectomized(OVX)***,the combined administration of parathyroid hormone(PTH)and theβ-receptor blocker propranolol dramatically promoted systemic bone formation and osteoporotic fracture healing in OVX *** effect of this treatment is superior to that of treatment with PTH or propranolol *** vitro,the sympathetic neurotransmitter norepinephrine(NE)suppressed PTH-induced osteoblast differentiation and mineralization,which was rescued by ***,NE decreased the PTH-induced expression of Runx2 but enhanced the expression of Rankl and the effect of PTH-stimulated osteoblasts on osteoclastic differentiation,whereas these effects were reversed by ***,PTH increased the expression of the circadian clock gene Bmal1,which was inhibited by NE-βAR ***1 knockdown blocked the rescue effect of propranolol on the NE-induced decrease in PTHstimulated osteoblast *** together,these results suggest that propranolol enhances the anabolic effect of PTH in preventing systemic bone loss following osteoporotic fracture by blocking the negative effects of sympathetic signaling on PTH anabolism.

2022年由于长江流域极端干旱,上海浦东新区水环境安全遭受了巨大压力。为保障城市水环境安全,以长江口-黄浦江-浦东新区内河区域为研究对象,评估极端干旱影响下,咸潮入侵时氯化物时空分布特征及影响因素,剖析咸潮入侵后从长江和从黄浦江引水对浦东新区内河水环境的影响。结果表明,2022年受长江流域极端干旱影响,长江口水位较往年下降,咸潮入侵时间提前至8月,入侵频次增多,入侵总时长高达142 d。通过“西引东排”的引排水模式,抽调长江水和黄浦江水可应对咸潮。当咸潮入侵较为剧烈时,从长江引水受限,改从黄浦江引水补给内河水源,有助于减轻咸潮入侵风险,并改善内河水质。因此,为应对极端干旱,减少咸潮入侵对内河水环境的影响,应优化长江水和黄浦江水调配方式;同时,建议增强对内河的生态修复,通过生态扩容的方式,减少对引水的依赖,加强内河的自净能力。

当前我国“大遗址”事业方兴未艾,交叉学科“中国遗址美术”应运而生。中国遗址美术研究方法论关系到学科的科学性,以及遗址美术的进展方向。目前,中国遗址美术未有系统、明确的研究方法体系,缺乏对研究方法论的明细阐释,这阻碍了中国遗址美术的深入研究和发展。通过对遗址美术研究方法论进行探讨,以期为“大遗址”研究者提供多视角、多层次的思考,丰富大遗址保护理论,进一步推进中国遗址美术研究。以马克思主义辩证唯物主义与历史唯物主义为指导思想,将中国遗址美术研究方法分为遗址美术一般研究方法、遗址美术本体研究方法、遗址美术保护和利用研究方法、遗址美术教育研究方法四种研究方法。在研究中,我们综合运用研究方法,解决当代中国遗址美术学术研究和成果展示脱节的问题。
