Nature and evolution of the lithospheric mantle revealed by water contents and he-Ar isotopes of peridotite xenoliths from Changbaishan and Longgang basalts in Northeast China

The nature and evolution of the lithospheric mantle underlying Northeast(NE)China were investigated by assessing the mineral chemistry,water contents,and noble gas(he-Ar)isotopes of peridotite xenoliths captured by Cenozoic basalts from the Changbaishan and Longgang *** xenoliths,which have863–1141℃ equilibration temperatures,primarily comprise spinel lherzolites and rare spinel *** Mg#(Fo)values of olivine in the peridotite xenoliths vary from 86.9 to *** clinopyroxenes have high Ti/Eu and low(La/Yb)N,and their chondrite-normalized rare earth elements(REEs)exhibit light REE-depletion to-enrichment patterns,indicating that the mantle underneath the investigated region was predominantly subjected to partial melting(1%–10%)and was metasomatized by silicate *** measured3he/4he ratios of the Changbaishan xenoliths have a narrow range from 5.8 Ra to 8.4 Ra with an average of 7.4 ***3he/4he isotopic ratios of the Longgang xenoliths varied from 4.7 Ra to8.1 Ra with an average of 5.9 Ra;slightly lower than the Changbaishan *** whole-rock H2Ocontents of the studied peridotite ranged from 9 to 132 *** high H2O contents in excess of50 ppm(up to 132 ppm)might represent newly accreted and cooled asthenospheric materials,while those with H2O contents lower than 50 ppm(as little as 9 ppm)may represent thinned,relic,ancient lithospheric *** geochemical evidences,in combination with published data,indicated that the lithospheric mantle beneath the Changbaishan and Longgang in NE China is dominated by the younger and more fertile lithospheric mantle with a minor ancient and refractory *** addition,the lithospheric mantle of this area was metasomatized by melts related to the recent subduction event(e.g.,Pacific oceanic plate).Therefore,the westward-dipping Pacific oceanic plate subduction had an important contribution to the transformation of the lithospheric mantle beneath NE China.

Machine learning aided investigation on the structure-performance correlation of MOF for membrane-based he/H_(2)separation

The separation of he/H_(2)using membrane technology has gained significant interest in the field of he extraction from natural *** of the greatest challenges associated with this process is the extremely close kinetic diameters of the two gas molecules,resulting in low membrane *** this study,we investigated the structure-performance relationship of metal-organic framework(MOF)membranes for he/H_(2)separation through molecular simulations and machine learning *** conducting molecular simulations,we identified the potential MOF membranes with high separation performance from the Computation-Ready Experimental(Co RE)MOF database,and the diffusion-dominated mechanism was further ***,random forest(RF)-based machine learning models were established to identify the crucial factors influencing the he/H_(2)separation performance of MOF *** pore limiting diameter(PLD)and void fraction(φ),are revealed as the most important physical features for determining the membrane selectivity and he permeability,***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations were carried out to validate the molecular simulation results and suggested that the electronegative atoms on the pore surfaces can enhance the diffusion-based separation of he/H_(2),which is critical for improving the membrane selectivities of he/H_(2).This study offers useful insights for designing and developing novel MOF membranes for the separation of he/H_(2)at the molecular level.

In-situ TEM study of the effect of hydrogen-helium ratio on defect characteristics in Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel during H_(2)^(+)&he^(+)simultaneous irradiation

The effect of hydrogen and helium interaction,especially H-he ratio,on the irradiation behavior of nuclear materials has not yet been ***,this is an important basis for evaluating the irradiation properties of nuclear materials and developing high irradiation resistant ***,30 keV H_(2)^(+)and he^(+)dual beams with four H-he ratios of 0:10,3:10,15:10,and 30:10 were used to irradiate the newly developed Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel in TEM to in-situ study the interaction and ratio effect of hydrogen and *** addition of H atoms significantly promoted the nucleation of dislocation loops and *** the early stage of irradiation,the average size and density of dislocation loops increased with the increase of H-he ***,the larger the H-he ratio,the easier it was to form a complex dislocation ***,the final saturation size of bubbles increased with the increase of H-he *** was first found that the swelling was affected by H concentrations,with high H concentrations slowing down the increase in *** a certain irradiation dose,a specific H-he ratio would lead to a swelling peak of Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M *** super-sized bubbles at grain boundaries(GBs)were found after H addition,resulting in a bigger swelling of GBs than the *** the swelling of the GBs and the matrix show a dependence on the H-he *** current work is of great significance for understanding the interaction between hydrogen and helium in nuclear materials.

Anomalous ^(3)he/^(4)he ratios in deuterium-loaded titanium samples are observed to be about 1-4×10^(-1),much greater than the values (≤10^(-4)) in natural *** experiments with the deuterium-unloaded titanium sample and original industrial deuterium gas are also carried out,but no anomalous 3he/4he values are *** addition,anomalous tritium in deuterium-loaded titanium samples are also *** explain the excess 3he and tritium in the deuterium-loaded titanium samples,it is required that the deuteron-induced nuclear reaction occurs in the samples at low temperature.

Influence of he ion irradiation on the microstructure and hardness of Ni-TiC_(NP)composites

In the present study,samples of a titanium carbide nanoparticle-reinforced nickel alloy(Ni-TiC_(NP)composite)were irradiated with 1 MeV he ions at 700°*** evolution of he bubbles and nanohardness was characterized using transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and nanoindentation,*** images showed that the size and number density of he bubbles in the grains were affected by the he ion *** number density first increased significantly and then decreased with increasing ion dose,while the size exhibited an inverse ***,the swelling induced by he bubbles continuously increased with increasing ion *** bubbles also formed in the grain boundaries,interior of the TiC nanoparticles,and interfaces between the TiC nanoparticles and Ni *** measurements indicated a decrease in nanohardness after irradiation,which is attributed to the disappearance of intrinsic dislocation lines caused by he ion irradiation.

Plasma density evolution in plasma opening switch obtained by a time-resolved sensitive he-Ne interferometer

To understand the formation process of vacuum gap in coaxial microsecond conduction time plasma opening switch(POS),we have made measurements of the line-integrated plasma density during switch operation using a time-resolved sensitive he-Ne *** conduction current and conduction time in experiments are about 120 kA and 1 s,*** a result,more than 85%of conduction current has been transferred to an inductive load with rise time of 130 *** radial dependence of the density is measured by changing the radial location of the line-of-sight for shots with the same nominal POS *** the conduction phase,the line-integrated plasma density in POS increases at all radial locations over the gun-only case by further ionization of material injected from the *** current conduction is observed to cause a radial redistribution of the switch plasma.A vacuum gap forms rapidly in the plasma at 5.5 mm from the center conductor,which is consistent with the location where magnetic pressure is the largest,allowing current to be transferred from the POS to the load.

Annealing effects on the photoluminescence of Pb-ion irradiated he-doped sapphire

In the present work, the photoluminescence （PL） character of single crystal sapphire （A1203） samples with and without im- plantation by 110 keV he and/or irradiation by 230-MeV Pb ions, as well as subsequently annealing at 600, 900 and 1100 K （TA） was studied. The modification of the structure and optical properties induced by ion irradiation were analyzed by using PL and FTIR spectra. The PL measurements showed that luminescence peaks located at 390, 413,450, and 564 nm appeared in irradiated samples. The luminescence peaks appeared at 360, 380, and 516 nm after annealing. Infrared spectra showed a broad- ening of the absorption band between 460 cm^-1 and 510 cm^-1, which indicated the formation of strongly damaged regions in the Al2O3 samples. The position shift of the absorption band in 1000-1300 cm^-1 tended towards to a higher wavelength.

Drawing on Michael Burawoy＇s theory of production regimes, this study analyzes the labor process of women migrant workers in the service industry from the gender perspective and examines the internal divisions among women workers in the same restaurant. External socio-cultural identity plays a key role in the workplace behavior of these women workers. he Ji Restaurant management employs the traditional gender constructions of women＇s ages and the resultant differences in their family roles and social responsibilities to apply different control strategies. These strategies are recognized and echoed by the workers themselves, whence the despotism regime of ＂older sisters＂ and hegemony regime of ＂younger sisters.＂ Keywords： women migrant workers, labor process, service industry

The Photopolymerization Kinetics of Acryl amide Sensitized with Toluidine Blue-Alcoholamine Induced by he-Ne Laser

Toluidine blue(TB) is a good sensitizer for the polymerization of acrylnmide(AM) induced by he-Ne laser. With TB as a sensitizer and various alcoholamine as donors, the photoredox of TB and the polymerization kinetics of AM induced by he-Ne laser were investigated. It was found that either for the photoredox of TB or for the polymerization of AM, the activity of alcoholamine increases in the order of EOAhe overall apparent kinetic equations of AM polymerization at 30℃ have been determined. In addition, the molecular weights under various conditions was measured.

The Naruo porphyry copper deposit containing more than 2 Mt of copper is located in the Duolong ore district in the west of the Bangongco–Nujiang belt in central *** zircon U-Pb,biotite^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar,zircon(U-Th)/he ages,published age data together with thermal modeling were presented in this paper to investigate the thermal history of Naruo *** modeling reveals a prolonged magmatic-hydrothermal evolution firstly cooling from~700℃to~350℃at 120 Ma,then cooling to 230℃at 106 Ma and maintaining at 200℃from 106 to 90 Ma which is attributed to multiple magmatic events and thermal effect of strike-slip *** by thrust nappe structure,the sample was consistent with 120℃from 70 to 63 *** Naruo deposit started to experience exhumation at a rate of~0.07 km/Myr since 60 Ma which is related to India-Asia *** prolonged magmatic-hydrothermal evolution process might have important influence on the Naruo *** ore-related intrusions preserved in the foot walls of strike-slip fault and thrust nappe structure are the objects of future exploration in the Duolong ore district.
