The earliest paper currencies in existence in China were handcrafted during the yuan *** currencies were scientifically excavated from different ruins or tombs,whereas scientific analyses of the papers are *** study used optical and scanning electron microscopy to examine the fibers collected in yuan dynasty paper currencies in conjunction with the Herzberg staining *** differences in circulation period,paper fibers in both Zhi yuan Tong Xing Bao Chao(two Guan)and Zhong Tong yuan Bao Jiao Chao(one Guan and 500 Wen,issued in Zhi Zheng period)were identified as similar papermaking materials,bast fibers of mulberry *** results indicate that mulberry bark,a durable papermaking material used since ancient times,was mainly utilized as a raw material in these yuan dynasty paper *** fiber identification work solved the critical problem of papermaking material in the yuan dynasty paper currency and provided important information for conserving these precious cultural relics.

This paper studied subspace properties of the Celis–Dennis–Tapia(CDT)subproblem that arises in some trust-region algorithms for equality constrained opti*** analysis is an extension of that presented by Wang and yuan(***.104:241–269,2006)for the standard trust-region *** suitable conditions,it is shown that the trial step obtained from the CDT subproblem is in the subspace spanned by all the gradient vectors of the objective function and of the constraints computed until the current *** on this observation,a subspace version of the Powell–yuan trust-region algorithm is proposed for equality constrained optimization problems where the number of constraints is much lower than the number of variables. The convergence analysis is given and numerical results arealso reported.

Spectral compressive imaging has emerged as a powerful technique to collect the 3D spectral information as 2D *** algorithm for restoring the original 3D hyperspectral images(HSIs)from compressive measurements is pivotal in the imaging *** approaches painstakingly designed networks to directly map compressive measurements to HSIs,resulting in the lack of interpretability without exploiting the imaging *** some recent works have introduced the deep unfolding framework for explainable reconstruction,the performance of these methods is still limited by the weak information transmission between iterative *** this paper,we propose a Memory-Augmented deep Unfolding Network,termed MAUN,for explainable and accurate HSI ***,MAUN implements a novel CNN scheme to facilitate a better extrapolation step of the fast iterative shrinkage-thresholding algorithm,introducing an extra momentum incorporation step for each iteration to alleviate the information ***,to exploit the high correlation of intermediate images from neighboring iterations,we customize a cross-stage transformer(CSFormer)as the deep denoiser to simultaneously capture self-similarity from both in-stage and cross-stage features,which is the first attempt to model the long-distance dependencies between iteration *** experiments demonstrate that the proposed MAUN is superior to other state-of-the-art methods both visually and *** code is publicly available at https://***/HuQ1an/MAUN.

Gradient microstructure modification is a cost-efficient strategy for high strength without compromising ductility,which is urgently needed in the fundamental science of engineering *** this study,heterogeneous structures of AZ61 alloy bars with anisotropic gradients(with different grain size distributions from the surface to the center)were observed to exhibit strong strength-ductility synergies under different deformation tem *** results reveal that the grain refinement process under mediumlow temperature deformation conditions(≤350℃)consists of four transition stages along the radial direction,i.e.,twin activations and deformation band formations,dislocation cells and pile-ups,ultrafine sub-grains,and randomly orientated quasi-micron *** deformation temperatures have a great influence on twin activations and deformation band formations,and the high temperature can easily provoke the initiation of non-basal *** deformation bands were determined as a primary nucleation site due to their highly unstable dislocation hindrance *** in combination with the Radial forging(RF)deformation process,the differences of dynamic precipitates can be attributed to microstructural difference and solubility limit of Al at different tem *** summarizing the tensile test results,the sample forged at 350℃exhibited the best strength-ductility synergy,exhibiting the highest elongation(EL)of 23.2%with a 251 MPa yield strength(YS)and 394 MPa ultimate tensile strength(UTS)in center region,and combined with the highest strength value of 256 MPa YS and 420 MPa UTS in the center region,while the EL was slightly degraded to 19.8%.

Pyrolysis Empirical Modeling of Polyester Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics Using Sestak-Berggren Model Method

Polyester Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(Polyester GFRP),a thermosetting plastic comprised of glass fiber and polyester polymer compounds,is extensively utilized in high-speed *** its pyrolysis mechanism is crucial as it significantly influences the combustion characteristics and fire safety ***,kinetic research on polyester GFRP primarily focuses on employing the Coats-Redfern method to derive a theoretical kinetic ***,the pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP is complex and the aforementioned theoretical model fails to accurately describe the pyrolysis ***,this study seeks to utilize the Sestak and Berggren(SB) model as a methodological approach to reveal the complex reaction mechanism during the pyrolysis *** on thermogravimetric analysis,the entire pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP is divided into two primary ***,model-free methods are employed to ascertain the activation energy and pre-exponential *** results show that the fitted empirical models of the two main pyrolysis stages are f(α)=(1-α)^(1.47)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.50) and f(α)=(1-α)^(1.77)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.72),*** predicted results are in good agreement with experimental data under different heating rates,which indicates that the empirical model can sufficiently describe the pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP.

The implications between this property and other P-properties have been studied. More importantly, we have solved the solvability problem of the nonlinear pseudomonotone complementarity problems over symmetric cones.

Global adaptive output-feedback tracking with prescribed performance for uncertain nonlinear systems

At present, one typical control strategy for guaranteeing transient and steady-state performance is funnel control and prescribed performance control. The strategy features completely discarding the system nonlinearities, even if they are completely known and available. Such an intrinsic feature requires the controller to produce a larger control effect to eliminate the negative impact caused by the high nonlinearities, leading to a conservative controller. In this paper, we fully take advantage of known information on nonlinearities in control design, instead of completely discarding it as done in funnel control. Particularly, we leverage adaptive techniques(i.e., high-gain dynamic compensation) to deal with unknown system nonlinearities. Meanwhile, we integrate the tools of output feedback, tracking control, and the performance *** such, an adaptive output-feedback scheme is developed for global tracking with spatiotemporal performance specifications: arbitrarily given tracking accuracy and accuracy-ensured time. A simulation example supports the developed approach.
