Eutrophication in coastal waters has been increasing remarkably,severely impacting the water quality in mariculture *** this study,we conducted multiple isotopic measurements on suspended particulate nitrogen(δ^(15)N-PN) and dissolved nitrate(δ^(15)N-NO_(3)^(-)and δ^(18)O-NO_(3)^(-)) in Zhanjiang Bay,a typical mariculture bay with a high level of eutrophication in South China,to investigate the changes in nitrogen sources and their cycling between the rainy and dry *** the rainy season,the study found no significant relation between δ^(15)NPN and δ^(15)N-NO_(3)^(-)due to the impact of heavy rainfall and terrestrial *** the upper bay,a slight nitrate loss and slightly higher δ_(15)N-NO_(3)^(-)and δ^(18)O-NO_(3)^(-)values were observed,attributed to intense physical sedimentwater *** some fluctuations,nitrate concentrations in the lower bay mainly aligned with the theoretical mixing line during the rainy season,suggesting that nitrate was primarily influenced by terrestrial erosion and that nitrate isotopes resembled the ***,the isotopic values of nitrate can be used for source apportionment in the rainy *** results indicated that soil nitrogen(36%) and manure and sewage(33%) were the predominant nitrogen sources contributing to nitrogen loads during this *** contrast,the dry season saw a deficient ammonium concentration(<0.2 μmol/L) in the bay,due to nearly complete consumption by phytoplankton during the red tide ***,the significant loss of nitrate and simultaneous increase in the stable isotopes of dissolved and particulate nitrogen suggest a strong coupling of assimilation and mineralization during the dry *** active biogeochemical processes during the dry season may be related to decreased runoff and increased water retention ***,our study illustrated the major seasonal nitrogen sources and their dynamics in Zhanjiang B ay,providing valuable insights for formulati

Highly productive estuaries facilitate intense decomposition of dissolved organic matter(DOM) as a carbon ***,the specific impacts of typhoons on DOM decomposition in eutrophic bays remain *** address this issue,we investigated the spectral characteristics of DOM before and after Typhoon Ewiniar in Zhanjiang B ay,a eutrophic semi-enclosed bay in the northwestern South China *** results revealed that intense microbial decomposition of DOM occurred during the pre-typhoon period because high nutrient inputs facilitated the mobilization of DOM in the ***,the intrusion of external seawater induced by the typhoon diluted the nutrient levels in Zhanjiang B ay,reducing the impact of microbial decomposition on DOM during the post-typhoon perio ***,the net addition of DOM occurred in Zhanjiang Bay during the post-typhoon period,possibly because of the decomposition of particulate organic matter(POM) and desorption of particulate *** addition,an increase in apparent oxygen utilization,a decrease in DO saturation and the reduced level of Chl a indicated that organic matter(OM) decomposition was enhanced and OM decomposition shifted to POM decomposition in Zhanjiang Bay after the ***,our study highlighted the shift in the intense OM decomposition from DOM to POM decomposition before and after typhoons in eutrophic bays,providing new insights into the response of typhoons to biogeo chemistry.

Background: Patients with intermediate to advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) are most commonly treated with transarterial chemoembolization(TACE). Previous studies showed that TACE combined with recombinant human adenovirus type 5(H101) may provide a clinical survival benefit. In the present study, we aimed to determine the survival benefit of TACE with or without H101 for patients with intermediate to advanced HCC and to develop an e ective nomogram for predicting individual survival outcomes of these ***: We retrospectively collected data from 590 patients with intermediate to advanced HCC who were treated at Sun Yat?sen University Cancer Center between January 2007 and July 2015. After propensity score matching, 238 patients who received TACE with H101(TACE with H101 group) and 238 patients who received TACE without H101(TACE group) were analyzed. Overall survival(OS) was evaluated using the Kaplan–Meier method; the nomogram was developed based on Cox regression analysis. Discrimination and calibration were measured using the concordance index(c?index) and calibration ***: Clinical and radiologic features were similar between the two groups. OS rates were significantly lower in the TACE group than in the TACE with H101 group(1?year OS rate, 53.8% vs. 61.3%; 2?year OS rate, 33.4% vs. 44.2%; 3?year OS rate, 22.4% vs. 40.5%; all P < 0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis for the entire cohort showed that alpha?fetoprotein level, alkaline phosphatase level, tumor size, metastasis, vascular invasion, and TACE with or without H101 were independent factors for OS, all of which were included in the nomogram. Calibration curves showed good agreement between nomogram?predicted survival and observed survival. The c?index of the nomogram for predict?ing OS was 0.716(95% confidence interval 0.686–0.746).Conclusions: TACE plus H101 extends the survival of patients with intermediate to advanced HCC. The kinetic freeze-out temperatures, T_0, in nucleus–nucleus collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider(RHIC) and Large Hadron Collider(LHC) energies are extracted by four methods:(1) the Blast-Wave model with Boltzmann–Gibbs statistics(the BGBW model),(2) the Blast-Wave model with Tsallis statistics(the TBW model),(3) the Tsallis distribution with flow effect(the improved Tsallis distribution), and(4) the intercept in T=T_0+ am_0(the alternative method), where m_0 denotes the rest mass and T denotes the effective temperature which can be obtained by different distribution functions. It is found that the relative sizes of T_0 in central and peripheral collisions obtained by the conventional BGBW model which uses a zero or nearly zero transverse flow velocity, β_T, are contradictory in tendency with other methods. With a re-examination for β_Tin the first method,in which β_Tis taken to be ～ (0:40 ± 0:07)c, a recalculation presents a consistent result with others. Finally, our results show that the kinetic freeze-out temperature in central collisions is larger than that in peripheral collisions.

In this paper, we designed a customer-centered data warehouse system with five subjects： listing, bidding, transaction, accounts, and customer contact based on the business process of online auction companies. For each subject, we analyzed its fact indexes and dimensions. Then take transaction subject as example, analyzed the data warehouse model in detail, and got the multi-dimensional analysis structure of transaction subject. At last, using data mining to do customer segmentation, we divided customers into four types： impulse customer, prudent customer, potential customer, and ordinary customer. By the result of multi-dimensional customer data analysis, online auction companies can do more target marketing and increase customer loyalty.

Three novel nonlinear chromophores with symmetric D-π-D molecular structure and extended conjugated length were synthesized. Solvatochromism analysis shows great symmetric intramolecular charge transfer occurring in chromophores by the enhancement in the dipole moment between the ground and excited states. The properties of optical power limiting induced by three-photon absorption （3PA） are demonstrated. Large 3PA coefficients and the corresponding molecular cross sections as high as 10^-74 cm^6s^2 were obtained for nanosecond laser pulses at 1.06μm from nonlinear transmission measurements.

Horsetailing is an important feature to identify the strike-slip structure and indicates the movement mode of the ***,the formation mechanism of horsetailing in the extensional regime remains *** this study,the formation process of horsetailing is reproduced through physical experiment,simulating the Linnan sag in the extensional *** results of the physical experiment demonstrates that the formation of the horsetailing in the extensional regime requires two phases of non-coaxial stretching plus the segment of the principal *** stretching distance in the early phase is slightly smaller than that in the middle-late *** segment point of the principal fault is only the intersection of the horsetailing structure and the principal *** horsetailing formed in the extensional regime is different from that in the strike-slip *** the formation of structure,the principal fault is dip-slip in the early phase and then becomes an oblique-slip in the middle-late phase,and the horsetailing is composed of the middle-late new tensile *** fault properties of the horsetailing in the extensional regime has important guiding significance for the longitudinal fluid migration along the fault in petroliferous basins.
