This paper proposes a stable gain and a compact Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna(AVA)for a 38GHz band of 5G communication.A novel compact AVA is designed to provide constant gain,high front to back ratio(FBR),and very high *** performance of the proposed AVA is enhanced with the help of a dielectric lens(DL)and corrugations.A rectangular-shaped DL is incorporated in conventional AVA(CAVA)to enhance its gain up to 1 dBi and the bandwidth by 1.8 ***,the rectangular corrugations are implemented in CAVA with lens(CAVA-L)to further improve the gain and *** proposed AVA with lens and corrugations(AVA-LC)gives a constant and high gain of 8.2 to 9 *** designed AVA-LC operates from 34 to 45GHz frequency which covers 38GHz(37.5 to 43.5 GHz)band of 5G ***,the presented AVA-LC mitigates the back lobe and sidelobe levels,resulting in FBR and efficiency *** FBR is in the range of 12.2 to 22 dB,and efficiency is 99%,almost *** AVA-LC is fabricated on Roger’s RT/duroid 5880 substrate,and it is tested to verify the simulated *** proposed compact AVA-LC with high gain,an improved FBR,excellent efficiency,and stable radiation patterns is suitable for the 38GHz band of 5G devices.

Open charm mesons and charmonia in magnetized strange hadronic matter

We investigate the in-medium masses of open charm mesons(D(D^(0),D^(+)),■(■^(0),D^(-)),D_(s)(D_(s)^(+),D_(s)^(-)))and charmonium states(J/ψ,ψ(3686),ψ(3770),χ_(c0),χ_(c2)) in strongly magnetized isospin asymmetric strange hadronic matter using a chiral effective *** the presence of a magnetic field,the number and scalar densities of charged baryons have contributions from Landau energy *** mass modifications of open charm mesons result from their interactions with nucleons,hyperons,and the scalar fields(the non-strange field σ,strange field C and isovector field δ) in the presence of a magnetic *** mass modifications of the charmonium states result from the modification of gluon condensates in a medium simulated by the variation in the dilaton field(χ) in the chiral effective *** effects of finite quark masses are also incorporated in the trace of the energy-momentum tensor in quantum chromodynamics to investigate the mass shifts of charmonium *** in-medium masses of open charm mesons and charmonia are observed to decrease with an increase in baryon *** charged D^(+),D^(-),Z_(s)^(+),and D_(s)^(-)mesons have additional positive mass shifts due to Landau quantization in the presence of a magnetic *** effects of the strangeness fraction are observed to be more dominant for ■ mesons compared with D *** mass shifts of charmonia are observed to be larger in hyperonic media compared with nuclear media when the effect of the finite quark mass term is *** medium mass modifications can have observable consequences on the production of the open charm mesons and charmonia in high-energy asymmetric heavy-ion collision experiments.

Biochemical and Metabolomics on Rice Cultivars

Plant metabolites are important for both plant life and human nutrition. However, the genetic control of plant metabolome remains largely unknown. Here, we performed a genetic analysis of the different rice metabolome and isozymes which are highly versatile and non-destructive as bio-markers. Five isozymes peroxidase, catalase, malate dehydrogenase, alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH), polyphenol oxidase were studied to characterize the thirty rice cultivars and two hybrids KRH-2 and KRH-4 along with their parental lines. Among the zymograms, ADH was found to be useful for the detection of cultivars, like CTH1, IR64, IR30864, with an Rm value of 0.549. The metabolomics of rice cultivars by using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry instrument with selected reaction monitoring mode software identified the 66 metabolites in the rice samples, including amino, organic, fatty acids, alcohols and sugars(mono-/dis-accharides). All metabolites investigated varied significantly among rice samples. Jaya had the higher number of metabolites(15) with a peak for each metabolite, followed by Jyothi(13). This study demonstrated a powerful tool and provided a high-quality data for understanding the plant metabolome and isozymes, which may help bridge the gap between the genome and phenome.

The research in the area of automated negotiation systems is going on in many universities. This research is mainly focused on making a practically feasible, faster and reliable E-negotiation system. The ongoing work in this area is happening in the laboratories of the universities mainly for training and research purpose. There are number of negotiation systems such as Henry, Kasbaah, Bazaar, Auction Bot, Inspire, and Magnet. Our research is based on making an agent software for E-negotiation which will give faster results and also is secure and flexible. The negotiation partners and contents between the service providers change frequently. The negotiation process can be transformed into rules and cases. Using these features, a new automated negotiation model for agent integrating rule based and case based reasoning can be derived. We propose an E-negotiation system, in which all product information and multiple agent details are stored on the cloud. An E-negotiation agent acts as a negotiator. Agent has user’s details and their requirements for a particular product. It will check rules based data whether any rule is matching with the user requirement. An agent will see case based data to check any similar negotiation case matching to the user requirement. If a case matches with user requirement, then agent will start the negotiation process using case based data. If any rule related requirement is found in the rule base data, then agent will start the negotiation process using rule based data. If both rules based data and cases based data are not matching with the user requirement, then agent will start the negotiation process using Bilateral Negotiation model. After completing negotiation process, agent gives feedback to the user about whether negotiation is successful or not.
