The design of an antenna requires a careful selection of its parameters to retain the desired ***,this task is time-consuming when the traditional approaches are employed,which represents a significant *** the other hand,machine learning presents an effective solution to this challenge through a set of regression models that can robustly assist antenna designers to find out the best set of design parameters to achieve the intended *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for accurately predicting the bandwidth of metamaterial *** proposed approach is based on employing the recently emerged guided whale optimization algorithm using adaptive particle swarm optimization to optimize the parameters of the long-short-term memory(LSTM)deep *** optimized network is used to retrieve the metamaterial bandwidth given a set of *** addition,the superiority of the proposed approach is examined in terms of a comparison with the traditional multilayer perceptron(ML),Knearest neighbors(K-NN),and the basic LSTM in terms of several evaluation criteria such as root mean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and mean bias error(MBE).Experimental results show that the proposed approach could achieve RMSE of(0.003018),MAE of(0.001871),and MBE of(0.000205).These values are better than those of the other competing models.

Predictors of renal angioembolization outcome:A retrospective analysis with 148 patients at a tertiary urology institute

Objective:The aim of this study was to evaluate the predictor of unsuccessful outcome of renal angioembolization(RAE).Knowing those predictors may help in avoiding unnecessary RAE procedures and their associated side effects,while helping to prepare for an alternate procedure and improving patient's overall ***:A retrospective analysis between January 2006 and December 2018 was performed,and the indications for RAE were classified into post-traumatic,iatrogenic,renal tumors,and *** who underwent RAE prior to nephrectomy were *** tomography angiography was performed in patients with normal renal function and those who had no contrast allergy,otherwise magnetic resonance angiography was *** the purpose of statistical analysis,we stratified patients into two main categories based on the final outcome—successful or ***:Of 180 patients,32 with negative angiography were eliminated,leaving 148 patients;136(91%)had successful outcomes after one or more trials and 12 had unsuccessful *** mean age was 45±15 years,and 105(71%)were *** gender,side of the lesion,presence of hematuria,indication for RAE,nor the type of lesion affected the *** the other hand,renal anatomy with presence of accessory artery was the only predictor to failed RAE(p=0.001).Failed RAE trial was a predictor for nephrectomy as a secondary procedure(p=0.03).Conclusion:No pre-procedural predictors could anticipate the RAE outcome,and different indications can be scheduled to RAE,which is equally *** presence of accessory renal artery on diagnostic angiography is the only factor that may predict the failure of the procedure.

One of the most common kinds of cancer is breast *** early detection of it may help lower its overall rates of *** this paper,we robustly propose a novel approach for detecting and classifying breast cancer regions in thermal *** proposed approach starts with data preprocessing the input images and segmenting the significant regions of *** addition,to properly train the machine learning models,data augmentation is applied to increase the number of segmented regions using various scaling *** the other hand,to extract the relevant features from the breast cancer cases,a set of deep neural networks(VGGNet,ResNet-50,AlexNet,and GoogLeNet)are *** resulting set of features is processed using the binary dipper throated algorithm to select the most effective features that can realize high classification *** selected features are used to train a neural network to finally classify the thermal images of breast *** achieve accurate classification,the parameters of the employed neural network are optimized using the continuous dipper throated optimization *** results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in classifying the breast cancer cases when compared to other recent approaches in the ***,several experiments were conducted to compare the performance of the proposed approach with the other *** results of these experiments emphasized the superiority of the proposed approach.

In the 3 D free bending forming system,the bending die can be designed either in a sliding type or rolling friction *** die-based sliding friction type is often called normal bending dies;however,the bending dies-based rolling friction type includes bending die-based roller type and ball type in *** the current study,the impact of three bending dies on the forming force,and the bent tube quality was *** obtained results showed that the tangential stresses and strains of the tubes formed by the bending die-based roller type were the smallest among the three bending ***,the spherical bearing force PUwas reduced drastically after using the roller type and ball type compared to the sliding friction ***,the uniformity of the wall thickness distribution of the tubes formed by the roller type and ball type was better than those obtained from the sliding friction *** addition,the cross-section distortion rate was reduced by 2.8%using the roller type,and 1.8%using ball-type compared to the sliding friction type.

1247例腮腺和颌下腺肿瘤患者的流行病学分析

背景唾液腺肿瘤大多是唾液腺上皮组织来源的肿瘤。它与头颈部其它部位的肿瘤在病因学、临床表现、组织病理学以及治疗等多个方面有所不同。同时,腮腺及颌下腺肿瘤是大连医科大学附属第一医院口腔颌面科临床治疗中的常见疾病,具有较为丰富的临床病例。因此,针对我科唾液腺肿瘤的临床病例进行流行病学研究,可能对于该类疾病的预防、诊断和治疗有一定的临床意义。目标对大连医科大学附属第一医院口腔颌面外科2007-2016年间所收治的腮腺及颌下腺肿瘤患者进行回顾性流行病学调差分析,有助于分析疾病可能的相关因素。材料和方法我们统计了 2007年1月至2016年12月,在大连医科大学附属第一医院口腔颌面外科接受手术治疗的所有上皮组织来源的腮腺和颌下腺肿瘤病例,共计1247例。收集的信息包括性别、年龄、肿瘤部位,肿瘤的初次就诊时间,病理结果,该诊断是根据世界卫生组织2005年分类做出的。统计分析采用SPSS version 24。结果所有病例中,男性669人,女性578人,男女比例为1.2:1。无论在良性和恶性方面,男性患病人数都高于女性。然而,在肿瘤的分类中,女性患者的患病种类更多样。男性患者占比较高的肿瘤类型包括:沃辛瘤最多见,其次为多形性腺瘤,其次为基底腺瘤。女性最常见的肿瘤为多形性腺瘤,其次为基底细胞腺瘤,其次为沃辛瘤。在统计的病例中,腮腺肿瘤有1088例,占87.2%,而下颌下腺肿瘤159例,占12.8%。76.5%的肌上皮瘤、75%的乳头状囊腺瘤以及75%的基底细胞腺癌发生在右侧腮腺,而68%的腺泡细胞癌和61.5%的鳞状细胞癌发生在左侧腮腺腺体。另外,10.5%的沃辛瘤病例发生在双侧腺体。至于颌下腺肿瘤,75%的黏液表皮样癌以及75%的鳞状细胞癌发生在右侧下颌下腺,而73.3%的腺样囊性癌以及71.4%低分化鳞状细胞癌发生在左侧下颌下腺。1247例原发性上皮唾液腺肿瘤中,良性肿瘤1079例,恶性肿瘤168例,腮腺肿瘤的良恶性比例为7.2:1,下颌下腺良恶性肿瘤比例为3.5:1。在我们统计到的6个良性肿瘤亚型中,最常见的良性肿瘤是多形性腺瘤615例占57%,沃辛瘤349例占32%,以及基底细胞腺瘤81例占7.5%,肌上皮瘤24例占2.2%,乳头状囊腺瘤8例占2%,粘液腺瘤2例占0.2%,在统计到的14个恶性肿瘤亚型,中粘液表皮样癌46例占27.4%,腺样囊性癌32例占19%,腺泡细胞癌19例占11.3%,鳞状细胞癌17例占10.1%,低分化鳞状细胞癌17例占10.1%,非特异性腺癌10例占6%,唾液腺导管癌9例占5.4%,肌上皮癌7例占4.2%,基底细胞腺癌4例占2.4%。从年龄分布来讲,良性肿瘤患者年龄在9岁至91岁之间,平均51岁。其中,三种常见良性肿瘤多形性腺瘤、沃辛瘤、基底细胞腺瘤平均年龄分别为44.5岁、61.5岁、55.6岁。粘液表皮样癌、腺样囊性癌和腺泡细胞癌的平均年龄分别为50.6岁、49.5岁和46.5岁,其中有15例未成年患者。412名患者吸烟,占33%,812名患者不吸烟,占66.5%,有戒烟史患者6名,占0.5%。值得注意的是,沃辛瘤是唯一与吸烟有关的肿瘤。另外,其中有215例患者饮酒,但饮酒与肿瘤的发生无明显关系。至于疾病第一次就诊时间,发现肿瘤从第1天到第40年,大多数患者在所有肿瘤出现症状和/或体征的头3个月内寻求医疗保健。多形性腺瘤从1天到56年、沃辛腺瘤从1天到20年和基底细胞腺瘤从1天到10年不等,而恶性肿瘤病例,中粘液表皮样癌,腺样囊性癌和腺泡细胞癌病史时间长度分别从2周到30年,3天到30年以及从1天到10年之间。结论腮腺肿瘤较颌下腺肿瘤更多见。腮腺和颌下腺肿瘤多为良性肿瘤,最常见的肿瘤是多形性腺瘤,其次是沃辛瘤;粘液表皮样癌是最常见的恶性肿瘤,其次是腺样囊性癌。良性肿瘤发生率高于恶性肿瘤。男性肿瘤发生率高于女性。腮腺和颌下腺肿瘤可以发生在任何年龄。良性肿瘤是恶性肿瘤的6倍以上。
