Urethrocutaneous fistula may complicate hypospadias *** noticed that double-layered preputial dartos flaps added to tubularized incised plate urethroplasty can reduce the risk of urethrocutaneous *** aim of this study was to compare the outcomes of tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with double-layered preputial dartos flaps to with single-layered local fascial flaps in preventing urethrocutaneous fistula.A retrospective cohort study was conducted between January 2017 and December 2020 at Jordan University Hospital(Amman,Jordan).Boys who were aged between 6 months and 5 years,diagnosed with distal hypospadias,and not circumcised were *** primary outcome was the occurrence of urethrocutaneous fistula in patients who underwent tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a double-layered fascial *** results showed a total of 163 boys with distal hypospadias;among them,116 patients underwent tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a single-layered fascial flap,and 47 underwent tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a double-layered fascial *** development of urethrocutaneous fistula was higher in the group receiving tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a single-layered fascial flap than in the group receiving tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a double-layered fascial flap after 1 month,6 months,and 12 months(6.9%vs 0,10.3%vs 0,and 5.2%vs 0,respectively),and the difference after 6 months was statistically significant(P=0.02).

Predicting standard penetration test N-value from cone penetration test data using artificial neural networks

Standard Penetration Test（SPT） and Cone Penetration Test（CPT） are the most frequently used field tests to estimate soil parameters for geotechnical analysis and *** soil parameters are related to the SPT *** contrast,CPT is becoming more popular for site investigation and geotechnical *** of CPT data with SPT N-value is very beneficial since most of the field parameters are related to SPT N-values.A back-propagation artificial neural network（ANN） model was developed to predict the N6o-value from CPT *** used in this study consisted of 109 CPT-SPT pairs for sand,sandy silt,and silty sand *** ANN model input variables are：CPT tip resistance（qc）,effective vertical stress（σ’v）,and CPT sleeve friction（fs）.A different set of SPT-CPT data was used to check the reliability of the developed ANN *** was shown that ANN model either under-predicted the N60-value by 7-16%or over-predicted it by 7-20%.It is concluded that back-propagation neural networks is a good tool to predict N60-value from CPT data with acceptable accuracy.

Currently,there are two types of defect detection systems used to monitor the health of freight railcar bearings in service:wayside hot-box detection systems and trackside acoustic detection *** systems have proven to be inefficient in accurately determining bearing health,especially in the early stages of defect *** that end,a prototype onboard bearing condition monitoring system has been developed and validated through extensive laboratory testing and a designated field test in 2015 at the Transportation Technology Center,*** Pueblo,*** devised system can accurately and reliably characterize the health of bearings based on developed vibration thresholds and can identify defective taperedroller bearing components with defect areas smaller than 12.9 cm2 while in service.

Multipartite quantum correlations among atoms in QED cavities

We study the nonlocality dynamics for two models of atoms in cavity quantum electrodynamics （QED）; the first model contains atoms in a single cavity undergoing nearest-neighbor interactions with no initial correlation, and tile second contains atoms confined in n different and noninteracting cavities, all of which were initially prepared in a maximally correlated state of n qubits corresponding to the atomic degrees of freedom. The nonlocality evolution of the states in the second model shows that the corresponding maximal violation of a multipartite Bell inequality exhibits revivals at precise times, defining, nonlocality sudden deaths and nonlocality sudden rebirths, in analogy with entanglement. These quantum correlations are provided analytically for the second model to make the study more thorough. Differences in the first model regarding whether the array of atoms inside the cavity is arranged in a periodic or open fashion are crucial to the generation or redistribution of quantum correlations. This contribution paves the way to using the nonlocality multipartite correlation measure for describing the collective complex behavior displayed by slightly interacting cavity QED arrays.

A Hybrid Heuristic Algorithm for Solving COVID-19’s Social Distancing at Universities Campus

Social distancing during COVID-19 has become one of the most important measures in reducing the risks of the spread of the virus. Implementing thesemeasures at universities is crucial and directly related to the physical attendance ofthe populations of students, professors, employees, and other members on campus. This research proposes an automated scheduling approach that can help universities and schools comply with the social distancing regulations by providingassistance in avoiding huge assemblages of people. Furthermore, this paper proposes a novel course timetable-scheduling scheme based on four main ***, a distance of two meters must be maintained between each student inside theclassroom. Second, no classrooms should contain more than 20% of their regularcapacity. Third, there would be no back-to-back classes. Lastly, no lectures shouldbe held simultaneously in adjacent classrooms. The proposed approach wasimplemented using a variable neighborhood search (VNS) approach with an adaptive neighborhood structure (AD-NS) to resolve the problem of scheduling coursetimetables at Al-Ahlyyia Amman University. However, the experimental resultsshow that the proposed techniques outperformed the standard VNS tested on university course timetabling benchmark dataset ITC2007-Track3. Meanwhile, theapproach was tested using datasets collected from the faculty of information technology at Al-Ahlyyia Amman University (Jordan). Where the results showed that,the proposed technique could help educational institutes to resume their regularoperations while complying with the social distancing guidelines.

COVID-19 is the common name of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)that appeared in Wuhan,China in *** the infected people is the most important factor in the fight against the *** gold-standard test to diagnose COVID-19 is polymerase chain reaction(PCR),but it takes 5–6 h and,in the early stages of infection,may produce false-negative *** Computed Tomography(CT)images to diagnose patients infected with COVID-19 has become an urgent *** this study,we propose a residual attention deep support vector data description SVDD(RADSVDD)approach to diagnose *** is a novel approach combining residual attention with deep support vector data description(DSVDD)to classify the CT *** the best of our knowledge,we are the first to combine residual attention with DSVDD in general,and specifically in the diagnosis of *** attention with DSVDD naively may cause model *** in the proposed RADSVDD guides the network during training and enables quick learning,residual connectivity prevents vanishing *** approach consists of three models,each model is devoted to recognizing one certain disease and classifying other diseases as *** models learn in an end-to-end *** proposed approach attained high performance in classifying CT images into intact,COVID-19,and non-COVID-19 *** evaluate the proposed approach,we created a dataset from published datasets and had it assessed by an experienced *** proposed approach achieved high performance,with the normal model attained sensitivity(0.96–0.98),specificity(0.97–0.99),F1-score(0.97–0.98),and area under the receiver operator curve(AUC)0.99;the COVID-19 model attained sensitivity(0.97–0.98),specificity(0.97–0.99),F1-score(0.97–0.99),and AUC 0.99;and the non-COVID pneumoniamodel attained sensitivity(0.97–1),specificity(0.98–0.99),F1-score(0.97–0.99),and AUC 0.99.

The Effect of Applying Human Resources Information System in Corporate Performance in the Banking Sector in Jordanian Firms

This paper aimed to demonstrate the impact of the effectiveness of the Application of human Resources Management System in Corporate Performance which perspective of workers in the Banking Sector in Jordanian Firm, and to achieve the purpose of the study questionnaire was developed to measure the impact of the effectiveness of the Applica-tion of human Resources Management System in Corporate Performance, and the sample consists of the study (500) employees in the banking sector, and used statistical methods appropriate to answer the study questions and test hy-potheses. The study found asset of results, including: 1) There is a significant effect between the quality of the output of human resources information system and institutional performance in banking sector in the Jordanian firm. 2) There is a statistically significant effect between motives and corporate performance in the banking sector in the Jordanian firm. 3) There is a significant effect between training and organizational performance in the banking sector in the Jordanian firm. The study was presented a set of recommendations, including: activating the role of human resources information system, where still the information system performs the function of traditional supply the decision maker authorized one to read the outputs historical information when they want, either directly or after completing a series of routine procedures that enable it, without that, this applies to access information system to avoid problems that many occur later. Must go beyond human resources information system (HRIS) traditional role in the process of selection and appointment of the new human resource to work in the organization, which is merely providing information to decision makers about the people who stepped forward to fill a job order that differentiation among those application. Current literature on software project management indicates that the majority of software projects either are considered a failure or challenged. These projects are characterized by exceeding budget, exceeding time, and failing to meet customer expectations. The fact that most projects fail highlights the need for research regarding the factors that lead to software project success or failure. This paper presents a theoretical framework for software project success. Based on deep analysis of current literature on software success factors, a theoretical framework is formulating. The suggested framework shows factors that have to be carefully considered in order to achieve software project success. The factors included in the framework are dividing into four categories: organizational factors, technical factors, people factors, and culture factors. The suggested framework is new in the sense that it includes many factors that are not founding together in any of the previous similar frameworks.

A Comprehensive Outlook of Mining Industry in Jordan, Opportunities and Threats

Jordan’s mining sector is considered the cornerstone to the Jordanian economy. It plays a vital role in growth of many other important sectors in the economy and contributes to the Jordan’s standard of living. The mining industry in Jordan is dominated by the production of phosphate, potash, building and decoration stones, glass sand and other nonmetallic resources. Recently, Jordan has been ranked as the sixth largest producer and the second largest exporter of phosphate, the fourth largest producer and the second largest exporter of potash, and has the 5th largest oil-shale reserves in the world. Also, Jordan has sustainable amounts of uranium around 3% of the world resources. The main objective of this research is to focus on the present status of mining industry in Jordan with the aim to emphasis the most important industries, and its effect on the economy of Jordan in order to generate new wealth depends on its mineral endowment. A literature review has been carried out by reviewing the most published articles and the publicly available reports published by various Jordanian Institutions as well as from the private sector. The author reveals that there are many positive outlooks which are looming with an increasing domestic added value along with investing in other areas, such as feldspar, clays, travertine, gypsum, zirconium, uranium, copper and rare earth elements (REE). This requires activating the exploitation of many other untapped mineral resources in the country to achieve a progress that works for meeting the global great demands worldwide. In this context, successive governments have put effort into policies that promote and facilitate investment in the mining sector in Jordan. A comprehensive outlook of the mining sector in Jordan has been discussed in this article.
