Photometric and Statistical Analysis of Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) for the Peak of Solar Cycle 24

The major solar energetic particle events for the peak of solar cycle (24) for years (2012-2015) are analyzed by using the Energetic and Relativistic Nucleus and Electrons (ERNE) detectors and Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph Experiment (LASCO) on board SOHO. It is found that the number of events which satisfies the required condition was 82 events. LASCO give information about Central Position Angle (CPA), Angular Width (AW), the speed of associated Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) and their basic features which cataloged in a data base SOHO/LASCO. The logarithmic intensity-time profile of SEP for the peak of solar cycle (24) was provided by ERNE, and from this profile the injection time, width, speed and onset time were estimated. all results that arise from these photometric analysis were statistically analyzed by using the statistical program SPSS (version 19). It have been concluded that 90% of these events were halo (360°) CPA, 1% of North West, 4% South West and 2% North East and South East, as well as it was found that 39% gradual events and 29% impulsive events while 32% were not clear events, and also the acceleration of the energetic particle is not only in the interplanetary but also in the location of the event. We found from the statistical analysis for these events that the acceleration is inversely proportional to speed and the relationship between them is not relevant and also the speed increase in two regions, from year 2012 and 2014. This confirms that the peak of solar cycle (24) really is double peak. all these investigations were employed as data base for the space agencies to protect the solar wind.

In this research article,the(3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Gardner-Kadomtsov-Petviashvili(Gardner-KP)equation which depicts the nonlinear modulation of periodic waves,is analyzed through the Lie group-theoretic *** the Lie invariance condition,we find the symmetry *** pro-posed model yields eight-dimensional Lie ***,an optimal system of sub-algebras is com-puted,and similarity reductions are *** considered nonlinear partial differential equation is re-duced into ordinary differential equations(ODEs)by utilizing the similarity transformation method(STM),which has the benefit of yielding a large number of accurate traveling wave *** ODEs are further solved to get closed-form solutions of the Gardner-KP equation in some cases,while in other cases,we use the new auxiliary equation method to get its soliton *** evolution profiles of the obtained solutions are examined graphically under the appropriate selection of arbitrary parameters.

Smart prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading

The prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading/displacement(Dh)is a challenging task for civil/geotechnical *** this study,a new approach is proposed to predict Dh using gene expression programming(GEP).Based on statistical reasoning,individual models were developed for two topographies:free-face and gently sloping *** with a comparison with conventional approaches for predicting the Dh,four additional regression-based soft computing models,*** process regression(GPR),relevance vector machine(RVM),sequential minimal optimization regression(SMOR),and M5-tree,were developed and compared with the GEP *** results indicate that the GEP models predict Dh with less bias,as evidenced by the root mean square error(RMSE)and mean absolute error(MAE)for training(i.e.1.092 and 0.815;and 0.643 and 0.526)and for testing(i.e.0.89 and 0.705;and 0.773 and 0.573)in free-face and gently sloping ground topographies,*** overall performance for the free-face topology was ranked as follows:GEP>RVM>M5-tree>GPR>SMOR,with a total score of 40,32,24,15,and 10,*** the gently sloping condition,the performance was ranked as follows:GEP>RVM>GPR>M5-tree>SMOR with a total score of 40,32,21,19,and 8,***,the results of the sensitivity analysis showed that for both free-face and gently sloping ground,the liquefiable layer thickness(T_(15))was the major parameter with percentage deterioration(%D)value of 99.15 and 90.72,respectively.

Exploring the impact of tacrolimus on kidney transplant recipients:insights into immunological outcomes

To minimize graft rejection,it is crucial to reduce *** the present study,we investigated immunological markers in the blood of transplant patients who did not receive *** also assessed alloreactive CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Tregs both before transplantation and after tacrolimus *** comparative analysis included 50 individuals experiencing early rejection after tacrolimus discontinuation and 100 *** reducing tacrolimus,rejectors exhibited elevated levels of memory CD8+T cells compared to Tregs,while non-rejectors displayed a lower ratio of memory CD4+T cells to *** tacrolimus removal,rejectors showed an increase in naïve T cells and a decrease in effector T *** transplantation,CD4+Treg levels declined,but their anti-donor regulatory function remained consistent in both rejectors and *** correlation revealed an association between acute rejection after tacrolimus discontinuation and the pre-reduction ratio of memory T cells to regulatory T *** indicators identified individuals whose immunosuppression could be safely reduced.

Anticipating the lifespan: Predicting the durability of an anode-supported solid oxide fuel cell short stack over 50,000 h

In the present study, the operational lifetime of a solid oxide fuel(SOFC) short stack is predicted by investigating the performance degradation of both the short stack and its cells throughout 1000 h at 800°C. The short stack and integral cell voltages are continuously measured during the long-term test, with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) conducted every 200 h. The short stack voltage decreased rapidly for the initial 200–300 h and afterwards, it decreased at a slow rate due to the increase in the Ohmic and polarization resistances in the same manner. Scanning electron microscopy results show that there is no delamination or cracking among constituent layers of the short-stack cells. The single degradation effects of the Ni coarsening in the anode, cation migration and surface segregation in cathode and oxide scale growth in metallic interconnect mesh are successfully integrated into a comprehensive lifetime prediction model. The experimentally measured voltage degradation data of the short stack fits well with the developed mathematical model and allows the successful prediction of the lifetime up to 50,000 h.

Enhanced electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction to formic acid using nanocomposites of In_(2)O_(3)@C with graphene

In_(2)O_(3)is an effective electrocatalyst to convert CO_(2)to formic acid(HCOOH),but its inherent poor electrical conductivity limits the efficient charge transfer during the ***,the tendency of In_(2)O_(3)particles to agglomerate during synthesis further limits the exposure of active *** we address these issues by leveraging the template effect of graphene oxide and employing InBDC as a self-sacrificing template for the pyrolysis synthesis of In_(2)O_(3)@*** resulting In_(2)O_(3)@C/rGO-600 material features In_(2)O_(3)@C nanocubes uniformly anchored on a support of reduced graphene oxide(rGO),significantly enhancing the active sites *** conductive rGO network facilitates charge transfer during electrocatalysis,and the presence of oxygen vacancies generated during pyrolysis,combined with the strong electron-donating ability of rGO,enhances the adsorption and activation of CO_(2).In performance evaluation,In_(2)O_(3)@C/rGO-600 exhibits a remarkable HCOOH Faradaic efficiency exceeding 94.0%over a broad potential window of−0.7 to−1.0 V(*** hydrogen electrode(RHE)),with the highest value of 97.9%at−0.9 V(***)in a ***,the material demonstrates an excellent cathodic energy efficiency of 71.6%at−0.7 V(***).The study underscores the efficacy of uniformly anchoring metal oxide nanoparticles onto rGO for enhancing the electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction performance of materials.
