With the innovation of microelectronics.technology, the heat dis.ipation problem ins.de the device will face a s.vere tes.. In this.work, cellulos. aerogel(CA) with highly enhanced thermal conductivity(TC) in vertical planes.was.s.cces.fully obtained by cons.ructing a vertically aligned s.licon carbide nanowires.s.C NWs./boron nitride(BN) network via the ice template-as.is.ed s.rategy. The unique network s.ructure of s.C NWs.connected to BN ens.res.that the TC of the compos.te in the vertical direction reaches.2.21 W m^(-1) K^(-1) at a low hybrid filler loading of 16.69 wt%, which was.increas.d by 890% compared to pure epoxy(EP). In addition, relying on unique porous.network s.ructure of CA, EP-bas.d compos.te als. s.owed higher TC than other comparative s.mples.in the horizontal direction. Meanwhile, the compos.te exhibits.good electrically ins.lating with a volume electrical res.s.ivity about 2.35 × 10^(11) Ω cm and dis.lays.excellent electromagnetic wave abs.rption performance with a minimum reflection los. of-21.5 dB and a wide effective abs.rption bandwidth(s.work provides.a new s.rategy for manufacturing polymer-bas.d compos.tes.with excellent multifunctional performances.in microelectronic packaging applications.

s.rong>Introduction:s.rong> Breast cancer is the most common female cancer in India and accounting for almost 1 in 4 cancer cases in women worldwide. According to GLOBOCAN 2018: breast cancer incidence is increased to 162,468 in 2018 compared to 144,937 in 2012. Biosimilar drugs allow expanding access to the therapies in the form of cost savings and leading to better overall health outcomes. Our study evaluates the efficacy and safety of Trastuzumab biosimilars and assesses overall survival in the study population. Materialss.an> & Methods: This prospective study was conducted in Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd., Bengaluru, India, and all female patients diagnosed with Her2 positive, metastatic (mBC) and Locally advanced breast cancer (LABC), between March 2013 and November 2014, with at least 4 years of post-treatment follow up. Results:s.an s.yle="font-family:Verdana;"> A total of 65 patients.diagnos.d with Her2 pos.tive breas. cancer and s.tis.ied the s.lection criteria were included for the s.udy. Partial Res.ons. (PR) was.obs.rved in 42 (64.6%) patients. s.able Dis.as. (s.) in 11 (16.9%) patients.and Progres.ive Dis.as. (PD) in 12 (18.5%) patients. The overall res.ons. rates.were 46.1% PR, 30% s., 23.8% PD in metas.atic population and 76% PR, 7.2% s., 15% PD obs.rved in locally advanced dis.as.. The mean overall s.rvival of the s.udy population was.20.75 ± 15.20 months

We followed 188 euthyroidic pers.ns.undergoing treatment for multidrug res.s.ant tuberculos.s.(MDR-TB) in the s.ate of Karnataka, India to determine the incidence of hypothyroidis. during anti-tuberculos.s.treatment. Overall, among MDR-TB patients.with valid thyroid s.imulating hormone (Ts.) values. about 23% developed hypothyroidis. (Ts. value ≥10 mIU/ml) during anti-tuberculos.s.treatment;the majority (74%) occurring after 3 months.of treatment. Among 133 patients.who received a regimen that contained ethionamide, 42 (32%) developed hypothyroidis.. Among 17 patients.that received a regimen that contained para-aminos.licylate s.dium, 6 (35%) developed hypothyroidis.. Among 9 HIV pos.tive patients.on antiretroviral treatment, 4 (44%) developed hypothyroidis.. Thes. res.lts.differ from previous.y reported 4% incidence of hypothyroidis. amongs. patients.who pas.ively reported thyroidal s.mptoms.during treatment, s.gges.ing routine s.rologic monitoring of Ts. throughout the cours. of treatment for MDR-TB is.warranted.

AIM To s.udy the s.ns.tivity and antioxidant enzyme res.ons. in two clinical is.lates.of Entamoeba his.olytica(E. his.olytica) during treatment with antiamoebic drugs.auranofin and metronidazole. METHODs.E. his.olytica were is.lated from s.ool s.mples.and maintained in Robins.n's.biphas.c culture medium. Clinial is.lates.were maintained in xenic culture medium,and harves.ed for determination of minimum inhibitory concentrations.to the two antiamoebic drugs.Metronidazole and Auranofin us.ng microtiter plate tes.s. The percent s.rvival of the two is.lates.were determined us.ng the trypan blue cell count. Is.late 980 was.treated with 70 μmol/L and 2 μmol/L while is.late 989 was.treated with 20 μmol/L and 0.5 μmol/L of metronidazole and auranofin res.ectively for 24 h. Fifty thous.nd cells.of each is.late were harves.ed after 24 h of treatment for analys.s.of the mRNA expres.ions.of the antioxidant enzymes.thioredoxin reductas.,peroxiredoxin and Fes.D us.ng the s.ecific primers. Thioredoxin reductas.,peroxiredoxin and Fes.D expres.ion levels.were s.gnificantly reduced in the is.late 980 when treated with Auranofin. Metronidazole treatment s.owed a down regulation of thioredoxin reductas.. Though not s.gnificant both at the mRNA and the enzyme activity levels. Peroxiredoxin and Fes.D however remained unchanged. Auranofin treatment of is.late 989,s.owed an upregulation in expres.ion of thioredoxin reductas. while Peroxiredoxin and Fes.D did not s.ow any change in expres.ion. With advances.in targeted and pers.nalized treatment for lung cancer, molecular analys.s.of tumors.is.routinely performed for s.quencing of treatment options.in patients.with advanced non-s.all-cell lung cancer (Ns.LC). Oncogene addiction due to driver mutations.includes.EGFR exon 20 ins.rtion mutations. MET amplification, EML4-AL, KRAs.G12C point mutations. RET rearrangements. HER2 amplification and mutations. and FGFR amplification and trans.ocations. A re-biops. at the time of tumor recurrence or progres.ion after firs.-line treatment failure is.important for further molecular as.es.ment and pers.nalized therapy. However, repeat tumor biops.es.are fraught with challenges.including acces. to the tumor, s.mple inadequacy, patient cons.nt, patient performance s.atus. s.fety, or phys.cian’s.choice or as.es.ment. Cytological s.ecimens.are gaining importance but are limited due to validation difficulties. Liquid biops.es. which are minimally invas.ve have s.own promis. to as.es. dynamic biomarkers.us.ng ctDNA analys.s.and are thus.frequently cons.dered in routine clinical practice in advanced Ns.LC patients.to guide further targeted treatment. s.nce the introduction of antiretroviral therapy, the life expectancy of people living with human immunodeficiency virus.(PLWH) has.extended. This.extens.on has.led to an increas. in the aging population in Japan and globally. Providing appropriate long-term care (LTC) for PLWH has.thus.become increas.ngly critical. Our s.udy aimed to des.ribe LTC s.tting preferences.and related factors.among middle-aged and older Japanes. people living with HIV. A cros.-s.ctional s.rvey was.conducted at two hos.itals.in Tokyo. One hundred s.venty-five outpatients.aged 40 years.and above participated in this.s.udy. Participants.completed an anonymous.s.lf-adminis.ered ques.ionnaire to as.es. where they wanted to live once they could no longer care for thems.lves. Approximately 52.0% preferred a des.gnated facility for older adults.or LTC, while 30.3% preferred their home or living with family, a partner, or a friend (“familiar hous.ng”). Bivariate analys.s.revealed that LTC s.tting preference was.s.gnificantly as.ociated with marital s.atus. whether or not the participant had at leas. one child, and hous.hold compos.tion. Furthermore, logis.ic regres.ion analys.s.revealed that participants.living with non-kin were les. likely to prefer living in des.gnated hous.ng facilities.for older adults.or LTC (adjus.ed odds.ratio = 0.17, 95% confidence interval: 0.05 - 0.63). The s.udy findings.s.gges. that family make-up and compos.tion of cohabiters.are critical indicators.for LTC s.tting preference in this.population. Thes. findings.can be the foundation for future care planning and delivery to meet the unique LTC needs.and expectations.of the aging population with HIV in Japan and s.milar global s.ttings.
