Artificial Equilibrium Points in the Low-Thrust Restricted Three-Body Problem When Both the Primaries Are Oblate Spheroids

This paper studies the existence and stability of the artificial equilibrium points (AEPs) in the low-thrust restricted three-body problem when both the primaries are oblate spheroids. The artificial equilibrium points (AEPs) are generated by canceling the gravitational and centrifugal forces with continuous low-thrust at a non-equilibrium point. Some graphical investigations are shown for the effects of the relative parameters which characterized the locations of the AEPs. Also, the numerical values of AEPs have been calculated. The positions of these AEPs will depend not only also on magnitude and directions of low-thrust acceleration. The linear stability of the AEPs has been investigated. We have determined the stability regions in the xy, xz and yz-planes and studied the effect of oblateness parameters A1(0A1?and ?A2(0A2<1) on the motion of the spacecraft. We have found that the stability regions reduce around both the primaries for the increasing values of oblateness of the primaries. Finally, we have plotted the zero velocity curves to determine the possible regions of motion of the spacecraft.

We have studied periodic orbits generated by Lagrangian solutions of the restricted three-body problem when both the primaries are triaxial rigid bodies and source of radiation pressure. We have determined periodic orbits for different values of (h is energy constant;μ is mass ratio of the two primaries;are parameters of triaxial rigid bodies and are radiation parameters). These orbits have been determined by giving displacements along the tangent and normal at the mobile co-ordinates as defined in our papers (mittal et al. [1]-[3]). These orbits have been drawn by using the predictor-corrector method. We have also studied the effect of triaxial bodies and source of radiation pressure on the periodic orbits by taking fixed value of μ.

Breakage of K-wires and stainless steel wires which are used for fracture fixation is not uncommon, but migration is rare. We report a case of migration of bro- ken K-wire used for patella tension band wiring to the popliteal fossa. The broken hardware was removed surgically. We would like to suggest that K-wire and wire fixation used for treatment ofpatellar fractures can migrate into the posterior compartment of the knee and cause clini-cal symptoms. Close clinical and radiological follow-up af- ter internal fixation to identify the presence of hardware breakage or movement and removal of wires once fracture has united can avert such complications.

Neuromodulation for diabetic peripheral neuropathy represents a significant area of interest in the management of chronic pain associated with this *** peripheral neuropathy,a common complication of diabetes,is characterized by nerve damage due to high blood sugar levels that lead to symptoms,such as pain,tingling,and numbness,primarily in the hands and *** aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the efficacy of neuromodulatory techniques as potential therapeutic interventions for patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy,while also examining recent developments in this *** investigation encompassed an array of neuromodulation methods,including frequency rhythmic electrical modulated systems,dorsal root ganglion stimulation,and spinal cord *** systematic review suggests that neuromodulatory techniques may be useful in the treatment of diabetic peripheral *** the advantages of these treatments will enable physicians and other healthcare providers to offer additional options for patients with symptoms refractory to standard pharmacologic *** these efforts,we may improve quality of life and increase functional capacity in patients suffering from complications related to diabetic neuropathy.

A systematic dependence of shape fluctuation energy product SFE ＊ B（E2）↑ and rotational energy product ROTE ＊ B（E2）↑ on the valence nucleon product Np Nn is carried out in the Z = 50-82,N = 82-126 major shell *** the shape transitional nuclei,the product SFE＊B（E2）↑ drops to zero and becomes negative,indicating direct dependence on N_pN_n.A relative rise,on the other hand,is observed in the product ROTE＊B（E2） ↑plotted against N_pN_n for all the nuclei in Z = 50-82 and N = *** the N 〉 104 region,large positive values of the product SFE ＊ B（E2） ↑ are observed for the Pt nucleus,which indicates sphericity.A systematic study of the product SFE ＊ B（E2）↑ and ROTE ＊ B（E2） ↑ with atomic number Z is also *** products SFE ＊ B（E2） ↑and ROTE ＊ B（E2） ↑ vary sharply with Z for the N = 88 *** discuss here for the first time the correlation between SFE ＊ B（E2） ↑ and ROTE ＊ B（E2） ↑ with valence nucleon product N_pN_n.

This paper presents the results of an ongoing investigation into transient pressure pulses using Shan- non entropy. Pressure fluctuations （produced by gas-solid two-phase flow during fluidized dense-phase conveying） are recorded by pressure transducers installed at strategic locations along a pipeline. This work validates previous work on identifying the flow mode from pressure signals （mittal, Mallick, ＆ Wypych, 2014）. Two different powders, namely fly ash （median particle diameter 45 μm, particle den- sity 1950 kg/m3. loosely poured bulk density 950 kg/m3） and cement （median particle diameter 15 p,m, particle density 3060 kg/m3, loosely poured bulk density 1070 kg/m3）, are conveyed through different pipelines （51 mm I.D. × 70 m length and 63 mm I.D. × 24 m length）. The transient nature of pressure fluc- tuations （instead of steady-state behavior） is considered in investigating flow characteristics. Shannon entropy is found to increase along straight pipe sections for both solids and both pipelines. However, Shannon entropy decreases after a bend. A comparison of Shannon entropy among different ranges of superficial air velocity reveals that high Shannon entropy corresponds to very low velocities （i.e. 3-5 m/s） and very high velocities （i.e. 11-14 m/s） while low Shannon entropy corresponds to mid-range velocities （i.e. 6-8 m/s）.

CognitiveRadio(CR)has been developed as an enabling technology that allows the unused or underused spectrum to be used dynamically to increase spectral *** improve the overall performance of the CR systemit is extremely important to adapt or reconfigure the *** Decision Engine is a major module in the CR-based system that not only includes radio monitoring and cognition functions but also responsible for parameter *** meta-heuristic algorithms offer numerous advantages compared to traditional mathematical approaches,the performance of these algorithms is investigated in order to design an efficient CR system that is able to adapt the transmitting parameters to effectively reduce power consumption,bit error rate and adjacent interference of the channel,while maximized secondary user ***-Learning Salp Swarm Algorithm(SLSSA)is a recent meta-heuristic algorithm that is the enhanced version of SSA inspired by the swarming behavior of *** this work,the parametric adaption of CR system is performed by SLSSA and the simulation results show that SLSSA has high accuracy,stability and outperforms other competitive algorithms formaximizing the throughput of secondary *** results obtained with SLSSA are also shown to be extremely satisfactory and need fewer iterations to converge compared to the competitive methods.

Baastrup's disease: The kissing spine

A 67-year-old male presented with a gradually progressive low back pain of 2 years duration. The patient was leading a retired life and there was no history of chronic fever or significant trauma. There was no radiation of pain or any features suggestive of claudication. There was no history of any comorbidity. The pain was aggravated with extension of the spine and relieved with flexion. There was no swelling or neurological deficit, but muscle spasm was present. Radiographs of the spine revealed degenerative changes in the lumbosacral spine, along with articulation of spinous processes at in lumbar spine at all levels level suggestive of Baastrup's disease, commonly known as "kissing spine". Routine blood investigations were within normal limits. The patient was managed conservatively. He was given a week's course of analgesics and muscle relaxants and then started on spinal flexion exercises, with significant improvement being noted at 6 months follow up.
