Computational interaction analysis of organophosphorus pesticides with different metabolic proteins in humans

Pesticides have the potential to leave harmful effects on humans, animals, other living organisms, and the environment. Several human metabolic proteins inhibited after exposure to organophosphorus pesticides absorbed through the skin, inhalation, eyes and oral mucosa, are most important targets for this interaction study. The crystal structure of five different proteins, PDBIDs： 3LII, 3NXU, 4GTU, 2XJ1 and 1YXA in Homo sapiens （H. sapiens）, interact with organophosphorus pesticides at the molecular level. The 3-D structures were found to be of good quality and validated through PROCHECK, ERRAT and ProSA servers. The results show that the binding energy is maximum -45.21 relative units of cytochrome P450 protein with phosmet pesticide. In terms of H-bonding, methyl parathion and parathion with acetylcholinesterase protein, parathion, methylparathion and phosmet with protein kinase C show the highest interaction. We conclude that these organophosphorus pesticides are more toxic and inhibit enzymatic activity by interrupting the metabolic pathways in H. sapiens.

Background:Discordance in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)staging between pre-transplant imaging and explant pathology is associated with an increased risk of recurrence and *** aim was to evaluate variables that predicted concordance/discordance in the era of new generation locoregional therapies(LRT)and improved radiologic technology in ***:A single-center retrospective study was performed on patients who received a liver transplant for HCC between ***-and post-LT variables,including type of LRT,downstaging(DS),transplant time period,and radiologic response to LRT,were analyzed for concordance/***-Meier analysis was used to assess post-LT ***:Of 146 patients transplanted within Milan Criteria(MC),discordance rates(understaged)were 45%.Discordance was associated with≥3 HCC lesions at diagnosis but not newer generation LRT(transarterial radioembolization/stereotactic body radiation therapy),traditional LRT or *** differences in discordance were seen between transplant periods(2008-2013 vs.2014-2019),but those within MC in the earlier period had higher concordance rates.A trend was observed between DS and ***:HCC stage discordance remains common and poorly *** was associated with three or more HCC lesions at the time of *** within MC transplanted between 2008-2013 was associated with concordance,while a trend was noted between DS and *** other pre-or post-LT variables predicted discordance/*** was associated with decreased survival.

Biophysical Characterization of Genistein in Its Natural Carrier Human Hemoglobin Using Spectroscopic and Computational Approaches

Steady state and time resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, combined with molecular dynamics simulation, have been used to explore the interactions of a therapeutically important bioflavonoid, genistein, with normal human hemoglobin (HbA). Binding constants estimated from the fluorescence studies were K = (3.5 ± 0.32) ×104M-1 for genistein. Specific interactions with HbA were confirmed from flavonoid-induced fluorescence quenching of the tryptophan in the protein HbA. The mechanism of this quenching involves both static and dynamic components as indicated by: (a) increase in the values of Stern-Volmer quenching constants with temperatures, (b) / is slightly > 1 (where and are the unquenched and quenched tryptophan fluorescence lifetimes (averaged) respectively). Molecular docking and dynamic simulations reveal that genistein binds between the subunits of HbA, ~18?? away from the closest heme group of chain α1, emphasizing the fact that the drug does not interfere with oxygen binding site of HbA.

The laser-induced effects on dielectric properties of chalcogenide glass(Ch Gs) have been present in a glassy system of Se–Te–Sn–Cd for possible applications in optics and optoelectronics such as light-controlled capacitance-based touch displays. The temperature/frequency dependence of dielectric relaxation before and after laser exposure was investigated by using laser sources of different wavelengths(405 nm, 532 nm, 690 nm, and 785 nm). The result showed the presence of laser-induced residual effects on dielectric properties(dielectric constant/loss and a.c. conductivity) after the exposure of continuous-wave laser sources of chosen *** analysis indicates that the modification in the meta-stable state due to self-organization is the feasible mechanism of observed persistent light-sensing effects.

Development and Integration of a Data Acquisition System for SST-1 Phase-1 Plasma Diagnostics

Long pulse （of the order of 1000 s or more） SST-1 tokamak experiments demand a data acquisition system that is capable of acquiring data from various diagnostics channels without losing useful data （and hence physics information） while avoiding unnecessary generation of a large volume data. SST-1 Phase-1 tokamak operation has been envisaged with data acquisition of several essential diagnostics channels. These channels demand data acquisition at a sampling rate ranging from 1 kilo samples per second （KSPS） to 1 mega samples per second （MSPS）. Considering the technical characteristics and requirements of the diagnostics, a data acquisition system based on PXI and CAMAC has been developed for SST-1 plasma diagnostics. Both these data acquisition systems are scalable. Present data acquisition needs involving slow plasma diagnostics are catered by the PXI based data acquisition system. On the other hand, CAMAC data acquisition hardware meets all requirements of the SST-1 Phase-1 fast plasma diagnostics channels. A graphical user interface for both data acquisition systems （PXI and CAMAC） has been developed using LabVIEW application development software. The collected data on the local hard disk are directly streaming to the central server through a dedicated network for post-shot data analysis. This paper describes the development and integration of the data acquisition system for SST-1 Phase-1 plasma diagnostics. The integrated testing of the developed data acquisition system has been performed using SST-1 central control and diagnostics signal conditioning units. In the absence of plasma shots, the integrated testing of the data acquisition system for the initial diagnostics of SST-1 Phase-1 operation has been performed with simulated physical signals. Deep Learning-Assisted OFDM Detection with Hardware Impairments

This paper introduces a deep learning(DL)algorithm for estimating doubly-selective fading channel and detecting signals in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)communication systems affected by hardware impairments(HIs).In practice,hardware imperfections are present at the transceivers,which are modeled as direct current(DC)offset,carrier frequency offset(CFO),and in-phase and quadrature-phase(IQ)imbalance at the transmitter and the receiver in OFDM *** HIs,the explicit system model could not be mathematically derived,which limits the performance of conventional least square(LS)or minimum mean square error(MMSE)***,we consider time-frequency response of a channel as a 2D image,and unknown values of the channel response are derived using known values at the pilot locations with DL-based image super-resolution,and image restoration ***,a deep neural network(DNN)is designed to fit the mapping between the received signal and transmit symbols,where the number of outputs equals to the size of the modulation *** show that there are no significant effects of HIs on channel estimation and signal detection in the proposed DL-assisted *** proposed DL-assisted detection improves the OFDM performance as compared to the conventional LS/MMSE under severe Hls.
