There is a clear clinical need for efficient physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs during and after bone lengthening and reconstruction for gaining the optimal effect and also prevention or treatment of lengthening side *** tract infection is the most prevalent side effect during lengthening which could be prevented and treated initially via proper wound *** contractures are typically a consequence of the generated tension on the distracted *** can be managed by physiotherapy initially and surgically in later severe ***,it is essential to avoid muscle contracture development,which is the demonstration of the imbalanced muscle appeals on the joint to inhibit the following *** knee is the furthermost affected joint by the aforementioned problem due to the inherent lack of ligamentous and bony *** stiffness is the other possible unfavorable effect of *** happens because of extensive muscle contractures or may possibly be attributed to rigidity of the joint following the amplified pressure on the joint surface during the process of *** and occupational therapy including endurance and strength exercise as well as stretching play an important role during the rehabilitation periods for the prevention and also the treatment of muscle contracture and the following deformity and also joint ***,the effect of mental and physical rehabilitation programs should not be overlooked.

BACKGROUND It has been said that the number of orthopaedic claims has increased in the last few years. Investigation through the most prevalent cause would help to prevent further *** To review the cases of medical complaints in orthopedic patients who had been involved in a traumatic *** A retrospective multi-center review of trauma orthopaedic-related malpractice lawsuits from 2010 to 2021 was conducted utilizing the regional medicolegal database. Defendant and plaintiff characteristics along with fracture location, allegations, and litigation outcomes were *** A total of 228 claims referred to trauma-related conditions with a mean age of 31.29 ± 12.56 were enrolled. The most common injuries were at hand, thigh, elbow, and forearm, ***, the most common alleged complication was related to malunion or nonunion. In 47% of the cases, the main problem that led to the complaint was the inappropriate or insufficient explanation to the patient, and in 53%, there was a problem in the surgery. Eventually, 76% of the complaints resulted in a defense verdict, and 24% resulted in a plaintiff *** Surgical treatment of hand injuries and surgery in non-educational hospitals received the most complaints. The majority of litigation outcomes were caused by a physician’s failure to fully explain and educate the traumatic orthopedic patients and technological errors.

The incidence of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-infected cases that need total joint replacement(TJR)is generally *** the other hand,modern management of HIV-infected cases has enabled them to achieve longevity while increasing the need for arthroplasty procedures due to the augmented degenerative joint disease and fragility fractures,and the risk of *** initial investigations on joint replacement in HIV-infected cases showed a high risk of complications,the recent ones reported acceptable *** is a matter of debate whether HIV-infected cases are at advanced risk for adverse TJR consequences;however,the weak immune profile has been associated with an increased probability of ***,surgeons and physicians should be aware of the complication rate after TJR in HIV-infected cases and include an honest discussion of the probable unwelcoming complication with their patients contemplating ***,a fundamental review and understanding of the interaction of HIV and arthroplasty are critical.
