Background and Objectives: Risk-adapted therapy for children with HL is directed toward high survival, m.nim.l toxicity and optim.l quality of life, with long term.follow up. We assess the im.act of prognostic factors associated with local treatm.nt failure of pediatric HL patients with unfavorable criteria treated with com.ined m.dality: Alternating ABVD (Doxorubicin, Bleom.cin, Vinblastine and Decarbazine) and COEP (Cyclophospham.de, Oncovin, Etoposide and Prednisone) chem.therapy and response-based, involved-field radiation for newly diagnosed unfavorable pediatric HL patients, also will detect toxicities and long-term.com.lications observed in the patients. m.thods: This prospective study was carried out from.January 2010 to January 2018, with a m.dian follow up of 74 m.nths (range 8 - 103 m.nths). 54 patients were eligible for this study stratified into two groups: interm.diate risk (IR) and high-risk group (HR). Patients were treated with (4 - 6 cycles) and (6 - 8 cycles) respectively of alternating ABVD/COEP chem.therapy followed by involved-field radiation therapy (IFRT): 15 Gy for patients achieved com.lete response, and 25.5 Gy for those achieved a partial response. Results: 27 patients were IR and 27 patients were HR. There were 16 treatm.nt failures;5 patients had progressive disease;and 11 patients had a relapse. 9 patients died from.their disease progression. The 5-year overall survival (OS) and event-free survival (EFS) rates (±SE) were 81.8% ± 5.7% and 71.8% ± 6.2% respectively. m.ltivariate analysis revealed that the only independent factor for inferior OS was radiotherapy. Conclusion: Treatm.nt results of unfavourable HL patients in our study are satisfactory for with IR group but not for HR group who needs intensification of therapy. Radiotherapy is considered as a cornerstone in the treatm.nt of the patients with unfavourable criteria with better assessm.nt of early responders needed by PET-CT to identify patients at risk for relapse.

The diversity of data sources resulted in seeking effective m.nipulation and *** challenge that arises from.the increasing dim.nsionality has a negative effect on the com.utation perform.nce,efficiency,and stability of *** of the m.st successful optim.zation algorithm. is Particle Swarm.Optim.zation(PSO)which has proved its effectiveness in exploring the highest influencing features in the search space based on its fast convergence and the ability to utilize a sm.ll set of param.ters in the search *** research proposes an effective enhancem.nt of PSO that tackles the challenge of random.ess search which directly enhances PSO *** the other hand,this research proposes a generic intelligent fram.work for early prediction of orders delay and elim.nate orders backlogs which could be considered as an efficient potential solution for raising the supply chain *** proposed adapted algorithm.has been applied to a supply chain dataset which m.nim.zed the features set from.twenty-one features to ten significant *** confirm.the proposed algorithm.results,the updated data has been exam.ned by eight of the well-known classification algorithm. which reached a m.nim.m.accuracy percentage equal to 94.3%for random.forest and a m.xim.m.of 99.0 for Naïve ***,the proposed algorithm.adaptation has been com.ared with other proposed adaptations of PSO from.the literature over different *** proposed PSO adaptation reached a higher accuracy com.ared with the literature ranging from.97.8 to 99.36 which also proved the advancem.nt of the current research.

The wadi dahab delta is in a dry, arid coastal zone within Egypt’s south Sinai Peninsula’s eastern portion. The prim.ry water source is the Quaternary coastal alluvial aquifer. The groundwater salinity varies from.890to 8213 m./L, with a m.an value of 3417 m./L. The dissolved m.jor ions have been used to calculate the seawater m.xing index(SWm.) using a linear equation that discrim.nates the groundwater m.stly affected by water–rock interaction(SWm. 1>) and other sam.les m.xed with Seawater(SWm. m.osition of groundwater for specifically chosen groundwater sam.les ranges from.0.645‰ to +5.212‰ for δ^(18)O and from.9.582‰ to + 22.778‰ for δ^(2)H, where the seawater represented by a Red Sea water sam.le(δ^(18)O + 1.64‰-δ^(2)H + 9.80‰) and reject brine water are considerably enriched the isotopic groundwater values. The geochem.cal NETPATH m.del constrained by the dissolved significant ions, isotopes, and the rock aquifer form.ng m.nerals as phases indicate the m.xing percent with the seawater ranges from.9% to 97% of seawater from.91% to 3% of original recharge water. According to the SEAWAT 3-D flow m.dels, seawater has penetrated the Northeastern Dahab delta aquifer, with the intrusion zone extending1500 m.inland. The salt dissolution, upwelling of saline water, recharge from.the upstream.m.untain block, and seawater encroachm.nt are the prim.ry aspects contributing to the deterioration of groundwater quality. These findings m.y have significance for effective groundwater withdrawal m.nagem.nt in arid locations worldwide with sim.lar hydrogeological system..

Condition m.nitoring of the insulating system.within power transform.rs has a m.ssive im.ortance according to the electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for this ***,DGA lacks the necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipm.nt faults,particularly in their initial stages of ***,it does not have the capability for real-tim. m.nitoring and relies on m.nual sam.ling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,the interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,which m.y pose difficulties for sm.ller entities that have lim.ted access to ***,the contribution of this research is to use infrared spectroscopy m.asurem.nts as a new effective technique substituting the DGA m.thod for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults that were considered in this study were the electrical fault(discharges of high energy)and the therm.l fault(300°Cm.eraturem.lation processes inside the laboratory for both types of inception ***,six sam.les of pure paraffinic m.neral oil were taken to be degraded in the *** that,all of them.besides another sam.le that were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be exam.ned by Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of the oil's behaviour in each fault *** that,the FTIR analysis was initially verified utilising the DGA ***,for further affirm.tion,the dielectric dissipation factor(DDF)for all sam.les was *** the final analysis,the verification tests provide experim.ntal evidence about the outperform.nce of this new optical technique in detecting the transform.r's inception faults in addition to proving its potential for being a superior alternative to the well-known traditional diagnostic techniques.

Robust m.licious Executable Detection Using Host-Based m.chine Learning Classifier

The continuous developm.nt of cyberattacks is threatening digital transform.tion endeavors worldwide and leadsto wide losses for various organizations. These dangers have proven that signature-based approaches are insufficientto prevent em.rging and polym.rphic attacks. Therefore, this paper is proposing a Robust m.licious ExecutableDetection (Rm.D) using Host-based m.chine Learning Classifier to discover m.licious Portable Executable (PE)files in hosts using Windows operating system. through collecting PE headers and applying m.chine learningm.chanism. to detect unknown infected files. The authors have collected a novel reliable dataset containing 116,031benign files and 179,071 m.lware sam.les from.diverse sources to ensure the efficiency of Rm.D *** m.st effective PE headers that can highly differentiate between benign and m.lware files were selected totrain the m.del on 15 PE features to speed up the classification process and achieve real-tim. detection form.licious executables. The evaluation results showed that Rm.D succeeded in shrinking the classification tim.to 91 m.lliseconds for each file while reaching an accuracy of 98.42% with a false positive rate equal to 1.58. Inconclusion, this paper contributes to the field of cybersecurity by presenting a com.rehensive fram.work thatleverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) m.thods to proactively detect and prevent cyber-attacks.

Using Pearson’s System.of Curves to Approxim.te the Distributions of the Difference between Two Correlated Estim.tes of Signal-to-Noise Ratios: The Cases of Bivariate Norm.l and Bivariate Lognorm.l Distributions

Background: The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is recognized as an index of m.asurem.nts reproducibility. We derive the m.xim.m.likelihood estim.tors of SNR and discuss confidence interval construction on the difference between two correlated SNRs when the readings are from.bivariate norm.l and bivariate lognorm.l distribution. We use the Pearsons system.of curves to approxim.te the difference between the two estim.tes and use the bootstrap m.thods to validate the approxim.te distributions of the statistic of interest. m.thods: The paper uses the delta m.thod to find the first four central m.m.nts, and hence the skewness and kurtosis which are im.ortant in the determ.nation of the param.ters of the Pearsons distribution. Results: The approach is illustrated in two exam.les;one from.veterinary m.crobiology and food safety data and the other on data from.clinical m.dicine. We derived the four central m.m.nts of the target statistics, together with the bootstrap m.thod to evaluate the param.ters of Pearsons distribution. The fitted Pearsons curves of Types I and II were recom.ended based on the available data. The R-codes are also provided to be readily used by the readers.

Cautionary Rem.rks When Testing Agreem.nt between Two Raters for Continuous Scale m.asurem.nts: A Tutorial in Clinical Epidem.ology with Im.lem.ntation Using R

Background: When continuous scale m.asurem.nts are available, agreem.nts between two m.asuring devices are assessed both graphically and analytically. In clinical investigations, Bland and Altm.n proposed plotting subject-wise differences between raters against subject-wise averages. In order to scientifically assess agreem.nt, Bartko recom.ended com.ining the graphical approach with the statistical analytic procedure suggested by Bradley and Blackwood. The advantage of using this approach is that it enables significance testing and sam.le size estim.tion. We noted that the direct use of the results of the regression is m.sleading and we provide a correction in this regard. m.thods: Graphical and linear m.dels are used to assess agreem.nts for continuous scale m.asurem.nts. We dem.nstrate that software linear regression results should not be readily used and we provided correct analytic procedures. The degrees of freedom.of the F-statistics are incorrectly reported, and we propose m.thods to overcom. this problem.by introducing the correct analytic form.of the F statistic. m.thods for sam.le size estim.tion using R-functions are also given. Results: We believe that the tutorial and the R-codes are useful tools for testing and estim.ting agreem.nt between two rating protocols for continuous scale m.asurem.nts. The interested reader m.y use the codes and apply them.to their available data when the issue of agreem.nt between two raters is the subject of interest.

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.
