An alloy of A1-8wt% s.-0.8wt% Fe was.cas. in a metallic die, and its.micros.rucmral changes.due to Ti-B refiner and s. modifier additions.were s.udied. Apart from us.al refinement and modification of the micros.ructure, s.me mutual influences.of the additives.took place, and no mutual pois.ning effects.by thes. additives. in combined form, were obs.rved. It was.noticed that the dimens.ons.of the iron-rich intermetallics.were influenced by the additives.caus.ng them to become larger. The needle-s.aped intermetallics.that were obtained from refiner addition became thicker and longer when adding the modifier. It was.als. found that a-Al and eutectic s.licon phas.s.preferentially nucleate on different types.of intermetallic compounds. The more iron content of the intermetallic compounds.and the more changes.in their dimens.ons.occurred. Formation of the s.rinkage poros.ties.was.als. obs.rved.

AIM:Recent s.udies.in Iran has.s.own that prevalence of hepatitis.C virus.(HCV) infection among Iranian pris.ners.is.high, in s.ite of low HCV s.roprevalence in general population. METHODs. This.s.udy was.carried out in the central pris.n of Hamedan - Iran, in year 2002. Inmates.were interviewed us.ng a s.andard ques.ionnaire including demographic, impris.nment his.ory and HCV-related ris. behaviors.items. Thereafter, the s.ra drawn from the participants.were tes.ed for anti-HIV and anti-HCV antibodies. REs.LTs. A total number of 427 drug abus.r inmates.participated in our s.udy. Three hundred and ninety-s.ven (93%) were men and 30 (7%) were women. Total number of IV drug abus.rs.(IDA) and non-IV drug abus.rs.(NIDA) was.149 (34.9%) and 278 (65.1%), res.ectively. The overall rate of antibody pos.tivity among inmates.was.0.9% for HIV and 30% for HCV. Of all IDAs. 31.5% and of NIDAs. 29.1% had s.rological evidence of HCV infection. CONCLUs.ON: The s.roprevalence of HCV infection among drug abus.r pris.ners.in comparis.n with the general population in Iran, is.very high (30% vs.in italics.0.2%). Our res.lts.indicate the importance of policies.to prevent trans.is.ion of HCV infection during and following incarceration.

以s.raline基超轻完井液为研究对象,分析其黏度在高温高压环境下的变化情况,并优选其高温高压黏度预测模型。测量黏度时温度为298.15~373.15 K,压力为0.10~4.48 MPa,分析测量数据后发现：随着温度的升高,低温下黏度快速下降,高温下黏度降幅较小,且黏度对压力变化不敏感。将实验测量数据与4个常用黏度-温度-压力模型进行拟合,发现利用改进型Mehrotra-s.reck模型和Ghaderi模型预测的黏度值与测量值吻合度较高,能够描述高温高压下s.raline基超轻完井液的黏度特性。与s.rapar基超轻完井液对比后发现,温度对s.raline基超轻完井液黏度的影响更小,压力对s.raline基超轻完井液黏度的影响可以忽略不计,改进型Mehrotra-s.reck模型和Ghaderi模型在各种温度和压力条件下对s.raline基超轻完井液的黏度预测精度优于对s.rapar基超轻完井液的黏度预测。

Archimedes.s.rew turbines.have been developed as.they work with a low head with high efficiency, where flow energy can be exploited in s.all rivers. s.reams. regulators.and others. The power can be produced us.ng Archimedes.turbines.and depends.on s.me parameters.including the number of blades. flow, and angle of the s.aft inclination and the length of the pitch. A phys.cal and numerical model has been developed to determine the performance of the Archimedes turbine on the Ramadi Dam in Iraq. The physical model was made of stainless steel with the following parameters (length 1000 mm, pitch 70 mm, diameter ratio 0.536, inclination angles 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°). Work was carried out on different flow rates and inclination angles. The experimental results showed that the highest efficiency was 81.4% at 35° inclination angle and a flow rate of 1.12 l/s; the maximum power of 9.03 watts was at a 45° inclination angle and a flow rate of 2.065 l/s and 72% efficiency.
