Sulfurized polyacrylonitrile(SPAn)represents a unique class of cathode material for lithium sulfur(Li-S)batteries as it eradicates the polysulfides shuttling issue in carbonate-based ***,due to the essential chemical S-linking and organic nature of SPAn,the active mass percentage and rate capability are two bottleneck issues preventing its ultimate deployment outside of *** the current work,aiming to endow both the charge conductivity and catalytic activity to SPAn for maximizing the redox kinetics of S conversion,a freestanding nanofibrous SPAn cathode embedding conductive CnTs and atomically dispersed Co centers is fabricated via multivariate *** the CnTs enable dramatically enhancing the fiber conductivity and generating mesoscopic porosity for facilitating charge and mass transportation,the cross-linking of SPAn by Co-n_(4) S motifs creates extra charge conduction pathways and further serves as the catalytic active sites for expediting redox S *** a result,an extraordinary Li-SPAn performance is achieved with a high specific capacity up to 1856 mAh g^(-1)@0.2 C,a superb rate capability up to 10 C,and an ultra-long battery life up to 1500 cycles@1 ***,our study here provides insights into the adoption of coordination chemistry to maximize the sulfur utilization by ensuring a more complete redox conversion from SPAn to Li2 S,and vice versa.

Hot compression tests were carried out on a Fe-29ni-17Co alloy in the temperature range of 900 ℃ to 1200 ℃ and at strain rates of 0.001-1 s-1. Dynamic recrystallization was found responsible for flow softening during hot compression. The flow behavior was successfully analyzed by the hyperbolic sine equation and the corresponding material constants A, n and αwere determined. The value of apparent activation energy was determined as 423 kJ/mol. The peak and steady state strains showed simple power-law dependence on the Zener-Hollomon parameter. The dynamic recrystallization kinetics was analyzed using Avrami equation and the corresponding exponent was determined to be about 2.7. This value, higher than 2 reported in the literatures, is associated with the mechanism of continuous dynamic recrystallization in the studied alloy. The flow curve up to the peak was modeled by the Cingara equation and the strain exponent, c, was determined about 0.85. The higher value of c compared with the value of 0.2 which has been reported for some stainless steels fortified the idea of extended dynamic recovery or continuous dynamic recrystallization in the studied alloy.

考虑了PBL加劲型矩形钢管混凝土支管受拉节点支主管宽度比与厚度比和主管宽厚比,建立了热点应力集中系数有限元模型,计算了支主管节点热点应力集中系数;基于最小二乘法对计算结果进行拟合,给出不同几何参数下节点热点应力集中系数计算公式,对比了矩形钢管节点和PBL加劲型矩形钢管混凝土节点应力集中系数和荷载幅。计算结果表明:采用有限元模型计算的热点应力集中系数曲线与静力试验曲线基本一致,支主管交汇处各位置热点应力集中系数有限元计算结果与CIDECT规范公式计算结果平均比值分别为1.006、1.007、1.013、1.015和0.987,两者差值小于15%,因此,有限元模型可靠;PBL加劲型矩形钢管混凝土支管受拉节点热点应力集中系数变化规律基本一致,随支主管宽度比呈抛物线变化,在0.6~0.8之间达到最大值,随主管宽厚比和支主管厚度比增大而增大,与CIDECT规范中矩形钢管节点计算结果一致;拟合得到的PBL加劲型矩形钢管混凝土节点热点应力集中系数公式计算结果与有限元计算结果的平均比值为1.011,均方差为0.222,变异系数为0.219,说明了拟合公式准确;采用应力集中系数计算公式,将PBL加劲型矩形钢管混凝土节点与矩形钢管节点进行对比,PBL加劲型矩形钢管混凝土节点支管热点应力集中系数下降了68%以上,主管热点应力集中系数下降了61%以上,在2.0×106循环次数作用下,容许荷载幅提高到3倍以上。

Metabolic syndrome(MetS)is a clustering of metabolic abnormalities that is associated with increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease and type 2 *** is growing body of data showing the associations of genetic variants of the genes involved in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway with diabetes and *** aimed to investigate the association between MetS and its components with the genetic polymorphism in AKT1,rs1130233(T>C).Total of 618 participants,recruited from Mashhad stroke and heart atherosclerosis disorder cohort(MASHAD study).Patients with MetS were defined by using international diabetes federation(IDF)criteria(n Z 326)and those without MetS(n Z 261)were *** and biochemical parameters were measured in all *** analysis for the rs1130233 polymorphism was performed,using the ABI-StepOne instruments with SDS version-2.0 *** with MetS had a significantly higher levels of BMI,waistcircumference,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high sensitivity-c reactive protein(hs-CRP)and blood-pressure,and lower concentrations of high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),compared to non-MetS individuals(Pn between the rs1130233 and MetS was not *** with a CC or CT genotypes had a significantly higher serum hs-CRP-level(OR:1.5;95%CI(1.05e2.1),P Z 0.02).Additionally,subjects who carried the TC genotype had a higher BMI compared to the CC genotype(p value Z 0.045).Our findings demonstrated that AKT1,rs1130233(T>C)polymorphism was associated with major components of MetS such as hs-CRP,and BMI,indicating further investigation in a multi-center setting to explore its value as an emerging biomarker of risk stratification marker.

Cooperative inversion for petroleum reservoir characterization produces an Earth model that fits all available geological, geophysical and reservoir production data to within acceptable error criteria. The mathematical formulation for the inversion requires an appropriate modeling description of both seismic wave propagation and reservoir fluid flow. The inversion requires the minimization of an objective function which is the weighted sum of model misfits for both geophysical and production data. While the complete automation of cooperative inversion may be unrealistic or intractable, geophysical data can provide useful information for enhancing heavy oil production. A methodology is given to demonstrate possible cooperative inversion application in heavy oil reservoirs.

Background:Few investigations of genotype II of Toxoplasma gondii,the most preva-lent form of the Toxoplasma parasite in humans,have been carried out on due to the rapid conversion of tachyzoites to bradyzoites in its life *** current study aimed to create animal and in vitro models for production of the tachyzoites of the Prugniaud(PRU)genotype II ***:To develop an immunocompromised model and obtain tachyzoites of the PRU strain,BALB/c mice were orally treated with dexamethasone(10 mg/kg),cyclo-phosphamide(36 mg/kg),and cyclosporine(18 mg/kg)from 5 days prior to ***,10-15 tissue cysts of PRU strain were inoculated intraperitoneally into the *** tachyzoites obtained from mice were then cultivated in a HeLa cell *** resulting yield of tachyzoites was cryopreserved in 92%fetal calf serum,8%dimethyl *** infectivity of these tachyzoites was evaluated using in vivo and in vitro ***:numerous tachyzoites were observed in the peritoneal fluid of the immuno-suppressed mice within 10-15 days after inoculation,and many tachyzoites were har-vested from the HeLa cell *** Blue staining showed 80%viability of the tachyzoites recovered from cryopreservation and this was confirmed by HeLa cell *** addition,mice infected intraperitoneally with the recovered tachyzoites presented with cysts in the brain after 2 ***:We have developed an animal model for mass production of *** tachyzoites of the PRU *** method can provide fresh viable tachyzoites of Toxoplasma gondii for use as and when required in future investigations.

Triple, standard quadruple and ampicillin-sulbactam-based quadruple therapies for H pylori eradication:A comparative three-armed randomized clinical trial

AIM： To compare the effectiveness of triple, standard quadruple and ampicillin-sulbactam-based quadruple therapies for Hpylori eradication in a comparative three-armed randomized clinical trial. METHODS： A total of 360 H pylori-positive patients suffering from dyspepsia and aging 24-79 years with a median age of 42 years were enrolled in the study and randomly allocated into the following three groups： group A （n = 120） received a standard 1-wk triple therapy （20 mg omeprazole b.i.d., 1000 mg amoxicillin b.i.d., 500 mg clarithromycin b.i.d.）, group B （n = 120） received a 10-d standard quadruple therapy （20 mg omeprazole b.i.d., 1000 mg amoxicillin b.i.d., 240 mg colloidal bismuth subcitrate b.i.d., and 500 mg metronidazole b.i.d.）, group C （n = 120） received the new protocol, i.e. 375 mg sultamicillin （225 mg ampicillin plus 150 mg sulbactam） b.i.d. （before breakfast and dinner）, instead of amoxicillin in the standard quadruple therapy for the same duration. Chi-square test with the consideration of P 〈 0.05 as significant was used to compare the eradication rates by intention-to-treat and per-protocol analyses in the three groups.RESULTS： The per-protocol eradication rate was 91.81% （101 patients from a total of 110） in group A, 85.84% （97 patients from a total of 113） in group B, and 92.85% （104 patients from a total of 112） in group C. The intention-to-treat eradication rate was 84.17% in group A, 80.83% in group B, and 86.67% in group C. The new protocol yielded the highest eradication rates by both per-protocol and intention-to-treat analyses followed by the standard triple and quadruple regimens, respectively. However, the differences were not statistically significant between the three groups. COnCLUSIOn： The results of this study provide further support for the equivalence of triple and quadruple therapies in terms of effectiveness, compliance and sideeffect profile when administered as first-line treatment for H pylori infection. In this study, neutron and gamma radiation produced during the ITER tokamak operation including the nuclear heating were studied. This is an approach for analyzing the neutron flux by their contributions. The calculations were conducted using Geant4 Monte Carlo method based on the ITER simplified geometry. It was found that for present design of ITER, only 0.1% of neutrons is contributed by photonuclear interaction while, 33% belongs to the (n, xn) reaction. Finally by adding Beryllium element in the coolant leading to the increase in the neutron flux by increasing the rate of (γ, n) reactions was calculated.

A study on water quality of the two long-logged and abandoned headwaters in Temengor Reservoir was conducted to determine their natural *** this study,we used national Water Quality Standards for Malaysia prepared by Malaysian Department of Environment as an indicator for water quality *** parameters measured were dissolved oxygen（mg/L）,water temperature（℃）,pH,conductivity（mS/cm）,total dissolved solids（mg/ L）,water velocity（m/s）,ortho-phosphate（PO4-P）,nitrite-nitrogen（nO2-n）,nitrate-nitrogen（nO3,-n）and alkalinity. In general,water quality in Sungai Enam and Sungai Telang were in ClassⅠ,indicating water quality in both streams have *** on the t-test,Sungai Enam and Sungai Telang differed significantly in all parameters except for dissolved oxygen,nO2-n and *** spatial analyses（upper,middle and lower reaches comparisons）, the two-way AnOVA analysis shows that there were significant differences in all studied parameters between the two rivers except for dissolved oxygen,total dissolved solids,nO2-n and *** flow,hydrologic pathways,geomorphology,physical and environmental characteristics are essential elements in understanding the dynamics of water systems in Sungai Enam and Sungai *** to the recovery,these two headwaters are thus suitable for fish conservation and restoration sites.
