Density is an important property of natural gas required for the design of gas processing and reservoir simulation. Due to expensive measurement of density, industry tends to predict gas density through an EOS. However, all EOS are associated with uncertainties, especially at highpressure conditions. Also, using sophisticated EOS in commercial software renders simulation highly time-consuming. This work aims to evaluate performance of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system（ANFIS） as a widely-accepted intelligent model for prediction of P-ρ-T behavior of natural gas. Using experimental data reported in the literature, our inference system was trained with 95data of natural gas densities in the temperature range of（250-450）K and pressures up to 150 ***, prediction by ANFIS was compared with those of AGA8 and GERG04 which both are leading industrial EOS for calculation of natural gas density. It was observed that ANFIS predicts natural gas density with AARD% of 1.704; and is able to estimate gas density as accurate as sophisticated EOS. The proposed model is applicable for predicting gas density in the range of（250-450） K,（10-150） MPa and also for sweet gases, i.e., containing a low concentration of N2and CO2.

Antioxidant therapy in the management of acute,chronic and post-ERCP pancreatitis:A systematic review

We systematically reviewed the clinical trials which recruited antioxidants in the therapy of pancreatitis and evaluated whether antioxidants improve the outcome of patients with *** bibliographic databases were searched for any studies which investigated the use of antioxidants in the management of acute pancreatitis(AP)or chronic pancreatitis(CP)and in the prevention of post-endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography(post-ERCP)pancreatitis(PEP)up to February ***-two randomized,placebo-controlled,clinical trials met our criteria and were included in the *** for a cocktail of antioxidants which showed improvement in outcomes in three different clinical trials,the results of the administration of other antioxidants in both AP and CP clinical trials were incongruent and ***,antioxidant therapy including allopurinol and N-acetylcysteine failed to prevent the onset of PEP in almost all *** conclusion,the present data do not support a benefit of antioxidant therapy alone or in combination with conventional therapy in the management of AP,CP or *** double blind,randomized,placebo-controlled clinical trials with large sample size need to be conducted.

Background:Lately,physical activity(PA) in young girls has been frequently discussed,thus we were interested to examine whether a mental training intervention can increase the level of PA in young ***:A sample of 56 girls aged 15.4 ± 0.3 years(mean ± SD) was assigned to either the intervention or control *** then conducted a6-week mental imagery training program on young female *** was evaluated with objective accelerometer *** self-concept was also assessed in all ***:Young females' PA increased after a course of mental training compared to female participants in control ***,physical self-concept improved related to mental training ***:Exercise imagery may be an effective method of PA increase besides psychological enhancement in young girls.

研究了扭转挤压做为一种大塑性变形加工技术的可行性,并将其与普通的正挤压进行比较。在室温下对AA1050铝合金成功进行了扭转挤压和正挤压。采用商用有限元软件ABAQUS/Explicit模拟挤压过程。结果表明,在扭转挤压中,所需的载荷要比正挤压所需的小。有限元分析结果表明,在扭转挤压中,试样承受了较高的等效塑性应变,在挤压的最后阶段扭转挤压试样中的应变分布较之正挤压更为平滑,均匀。

Background: The use of traditional and complementary medicine (T&CM) is increasing in both developed and developing countries. The school of Persian medicine (PM) in Iran is a comprehensive medical school that is rich in history and has its own special principles, elements, philosophy, and diagnostic and treatment options. Many complementary therapy modalities are also popular and in demand among patients and physicians. The aim of this paper is to provide logic for the policymakers in Iranian medical education to make changes in medical education curricula, particularly on integrating T&CM. Methods: We reviewed the global experience in teaching T&CM to medical students, and highlighting the strengths of PM, described why it is necessary to integrate T&CM into general medicine curricula in Iran. Results: PM is a traditional system of medicine that dates back about 7000 years. Although there are few studies about the safety and effectiveness of PM, research into it has recently been accelerated. There is a suitable opportunity for integrating T&CM with conventional medicine. Physicians should be familiar with T&CM to avoid any contraindications, interactions, and unwanted effects. Conclusion: Traditional medicine is part of Iran's heritage and. thus, needs special attention. Familiarization of physicians with T&CM can help them choose the best treatment options for their patients. To integrate T&CM into the medical education curricula of Iran, a two-credit course has been proposed for implementation across the country.

Acidizing treatment in petroleum reservoirs is a short-term and viable strategy to preserve the productivity of a *** is a major concern for the degradation of cement sheath integrity,leading to poor zonal isolation and environmental ***,it is essential to understand how the cement behaves when attacked by hydrochloric *** this study,a cement slurry by incorporation of the Henna extract,as an environmentally friendly cement additive,was synthesized as a potential solution to solve this *** characteristics of the treated cement slurry were compared with a reference slurry(w/c?0.44)which is composed of only cement and water.A kinetic study was carried out to evaluate the adsorption behavior of the cement slurries exposed to an acid solution with 0.1 M HCl in a range of 25 to 55C *** features of the cement slurries were evaluated by multiple analytical techniques such as XRD,FTIR,TG,and DSC *** the experimental data,it is concluded that the second-order Lagergren kinetic model revealed to be the best in describing kinetic isotherms taken,because the margin between experimental and calculated values was minor for this *** results of the characterization and HCl interaction kinetic studies underlined the prominent protective role of Henna extract-modified cement slurry in the enhancement of the cement resistance against acid attack and utilization in environmentally favorable oil well acidizing treatments.

Investigation and evaluation of ultrasound reactor for reduction of fungi from sewage

The objective of the investigation was to study the application of ultrasound reactor technology (USRT) as a disin-fectant for reduction of fungi from sewage effluent. Fungi are carbon heterotrophs that require preformed organic compounds as carbon sources. USRT is an attractive means to improve water quality because of the system simplicity and no production of toxic by-products. An ultrasound reactor produces strong cavitation in aqueous solution causing shock waves and reactive free radicals by the violent collapse of the cavitation bubble. These effects should contribute to the physical disruption of microbial structures and inactivation of organisms. There was significant reduction in fungal growth, with decreased fungal growth with increasing USRT. In this study, ultrasound irradiation at a frequency of 42 kHz was used to expose suspensions of fungi to evaluate the disinfection efficacy of the ultrasound reactor. Also, this study showed that in this system more than 99% reduction of sewage fungi was achieved after 60 min.

空化是控制阀中的一种破坏性现象。为了延缓空化,采用一种多孔圆柱板,称为trim。在此之前,我们曾研究过孔板直径和不同类型的trim的影响。本文采用4种不同工况(无trim,1,2和3 trims)对球阀进行数值分析,分析了trim的数量对气蚀强度、形成区域和空化起始点的影响。结果表明,与不加trim的阀门相比,增加一个或两个trim可以降低气蚀的强度,延缓空化的发生。然而,在使用两到三个trims的情况下,空化的强度和起始点没有明显的差异。由于trim生产成本高,流量系数严重下降,将trim数量增加到3个以上在经济和技术上都是不合理的。
