The present work describes similarity solution to a general scheme for the wall jet flow of nanofluids,accounting both the similarity branches(say upper and lower),allowed with respect to the suction and moving wall conditions in the context of Glauert type *** proceeding with this,a spatial stability analysis is performed to check the stability of the similarity *** indicated that the upper similarity branch is possibly stable;whilst,the lower branch is not likely to reside in actual *** governing transport equations of mass and energy subject to a general two-phase modeling framework were transformed into similarity *** involved equations were then solved numerically employing the standard 4th order Runge-Kutta together with shooting *** influence of the involved parameters is shown graphically and in a detailed *** the last section,it is presented closed-form algebraic solution to the energy equation for the base fluids with a general convective boundary condition.

Iatrogenic injury or trauma to the salivary gland duct is one of the most common causes of parotid sialoceles,which are usually superficial,soft,and filled with *** enrolled 7 patients with parotid sialocele were divided into two groups:trauma group(4 cases)and iatrogenic group(3 cases).No evidence of recurrence or cranial nerve injuries were *** persisted parotid sialocele,intraoral drainage for two weeks as a safe and inexpensive method is recommended.

The objective of this numerical work is to evaluate the first law and second law performances of a hybrid nanofluid flowing through a liquidcooled microchannel *** waterbased hybrid nanofluid includes the Fe_(3)O_(4)and carbon nanotubes(CNTs)*** heatsink includes a microchannel configuration for the flow field to gain heat from a processor placed on the bottom of the *** effects of Fe_(3)O_(4)concentration(φFe_(3)O_(4))>CNT concentration(φCNT)and Reynolds number(Re)on the convective heat transfer coefficient,CPU surface temperature,thermal resistance,pumping power,as well as the rate of entropy generation due to the heat transfer and fluid friction is *** results indicated higher values of convective heat transfer coefficient,pumping power,and frictional entropy generation rate for higher values of Re,Fe_(3)O_(4)andφ*** increasing Re,Fe_(3)O_(4)and uCNT,the CPU surface temperature and the thermal resistance decrease,and the temperature distribution at the CPU surface became more *** achieve the maximum performance of the studied heatsink,applying the hybrid nanofluid with low Fe_(3)O_(4)andφCNT was suggested,while the minimum entropy generation was achieved with the application of nanofluid with highφFe_(3)O_(4)andφCNT.

Assessment of the reinforcement behavior of soil under cyclic and monotonic loads is of great impor- tance in the safe design of mechanically stabilized earth walls, In this article, the method of conducting a multistage pullout （MSP） test on the polymeric strip （PS） is presented, The post-cyclic behavior of the reinforcement can be evaluated using a large-scale pullout apparatus adopting MSP test and one-stage pullout （OSP） test procedures, This research investigates the effects of various factors including load amplitude, load frequency, number of load cycles and vertical effective stress on the peak apparent coefficient of friction mobilized at the soil-PS interface and the pullout resistance of the PS buried in dry sandy soil. The results illustrate that changing the cyclic tensile load frequency from 0,1 Hz to 0,5 Hz does not affect the pullout resistance. Moreover, the influence of increasing the number of load cycles from 30 to 250 on the peak pullout resistance is negligible. Finally, the effect of increasing the cyclic tensile load amplitude from 20% to 40% on the monotonic pullout resistance can be ignored. The peak apparent coefficient of friction mobilized at the soil-PS interface under monotonic and cyclic load conditions decreases with the increase in vertical effective stress.

In the present research, 6-mm-thick 5083-H321 aluminum alloy was joined by the double-pulsed gas metal arc welding （DP-GMAW） process. The objective was to investigate the influence of the shielding gas composition on the microstructure and properties of GMA welds. A macrostructural study indicated that the addition of nitrogen and oxygen to the argon shielding gas resulted in better weld penetration. Furthermore, the tensile strength and bending strength of the welds were improved when oxygen and nitrogen （at concentrations as high as approximately 0. 1vol%） were added to the shielding gas; however, these properties were adversely affected when the oxygen and nitrogen contents were increased further. This behavior was attributed to the formation of excessive brown and black oxide films on the bead surface, the formation of intermetallic compounds in the weld metal, and the formation of thicker oxide layers on the bead surface with increasing nitrogen and oxygen contents in the argon-based shielding gas. Analysis by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy revealed that most of these compounds are nitrides or oxides.

Bayesian Regularization Neural Networks for Prediction of Austenite Formation Temperatures(A_(c1) and A_(c3))

A neural network with a feed forward topology and Bayesian regularization training algorithm is used to predict the austenite formation temperatures （At1 and A13） by considering the percentage of alloying elements in chemical composition of steel. The data base used here involves a large variety of different steel types such as struc- tural steels, stainless steels, rail steels, spring steels, high temperature creep resisting steels and tool steels. Scatter diagrams and mean relative error （MRE） statistical criteria are used to compare the performance of developed neural network with the results of Andrew% empirical equations and a feed forward neural network with ＂gradient descent with momentum＂ training algorithm. The results showed that Bayesian regularization neural network has the best performance. Also, due to the satisfactory results of the developed neural network, it was used to investigate the effect of the chemical composition on Ac1 and At3 temperatures. Results are in accordance with materials science theories.

We have explored the structure of a hot flow bathed in a general large-scale magnetic field. The importance of outflow and thermal conduction on the self-similar structure of a hot accretion flow has been investigated. We consider the additional 2 2 2 magnetic parameters are the Alfv6n sound speeds in three directions of cylindrical coordinates. In comparison to the accretion disk without winds, our results show that the radial and rotational velocities of the disk become faster, but the disk becomes cooler because of the angular momentum and energy flux which are taken away by the winds. Moreover, thermal conduction opposes the effect of winds and not only decreases the rotational velocity but also in- creases the radial velocity as well as the sound speed of the disk. In addition, we study the effect of the global magnetic field on the structure of the disk. Our numerical re- suits show that all the components of a magnetic field can be important and they have a considerable effect on velocities and vertical structure of the disk.
