In the present study,the solitary wave solutions of modified Degasperis-Procesi equation are *** the standard Degasperis-Procesi equation,where multi-peakon solutions arise,the modification caused a change in the characteristic of these peakon solutions and changed it to bell-shaped *** using the extended auxiliary equation method,we deduced some new soliton solutions of the fourthorder nonlinear modified Degasperis-Procesi equation with constant *** solutions include symmetrical,non-symmetrical kink solutions,solitary pattern solutions,weiestrass elliptic function solutions and triangular function *** discuss the stability analysis for these solutions.

Accurate PV system simulators are implemented with expensive software platforms using paid irradiance *** main purpose of this paper is to develop and validate a PV system simulator,beginning with a solar cell parameter extraction model,then test and validate long-termIrradiance data using free online source(Typical Meteorological Year TMY in(PVGIS)European website),and finally building full solar generator simulator to run in working real *** results with Accurate Paid PV simulators(which use theMuneer model)showed good accuracy of the proposed *** flow starts with the Irradiance model’s data processing,then solar cell 5 parameters model data processing(to extract cell parameters),and finally full system *** coding programs in real working conditions are used for *** of solar cell parameter extraction show 99.6%to 99.99%matching with data sheet and cell performance under standard test *** simulation output shows 8%less yearly generated energy compared to the PVGIS 2022 long-term simulation(hourly basis(one-year time)).This is due to incident energy variations(between the years 2016 and 2022)of 4.02%.The novelty of the algorithm is the methodology,as it tests irradiance data on an hourly basis and validates results for a whole continuous ***,the 5-parameter solar cell model is used to be validated in long term analysis,not only STC conditions and could be applied on any PV solar *** algorithm and block diagramused are scalable,modular,and interchangeable with similarmodels to be *** simulator could test severalmethods andmodels in solar pv technology.

AIM: To estimate the burden of undiagnosed celiac disease (CD) in the Mediterranean area in terms of morbidity, mortality and health cost. METHODS: For statistics regarding the population of each country in the Mediterranean area, we accessed authoritative international sources (World Bank, World Health Organization and United Nations). The prevalence of CD was obtained for most countries from published reports. An overall prevalence rate of 1% cases/total population was finally estimated to represent the frequency of the disease in the area, since none of the available conf idence intervals of the reported rates significantly excluded this rate. The distribution of symptoms and complications was obtained from reliable reports in the same cohort. A standardized mortality rate of 1.8 was obtained from recent reports. Crude health cost was estimated for the years between symptoms and diagnosis for adults and children, and was standardized for purchasing power parity to account for the different economic prof iles amongst Mediterranean countries. RESULTS: In the next 10 years, the Mediterranean area will have about half a billion inhabitants, of which 120 million will be children. The projected number of CD diagnoses in 2020 is 5 million cases (1 million celiac children), with a relative increase of 11% compared to 2010. Based on the 2010 rate, there will be about 550 000 symptomatic adults and about 240 000 sick children: 85% of the symptomatic patients will suffer from gastrointestinal complaints, 40% are likely to have anemia, 30% will likely have osteopenia, 20% of children will have short stature, and 10% will have abnormal liver enzymes. The estimated standardized medical costs for symptomatic celiac patients during the delay between symptom onset and diagnosis (mean 6 years for adults, 2 years for children) will be about €4 billion (€387 million for children) over the next 10 years. Objective:The current study investigated the efficacy of total ethanolic extract and various fractions of Gazania rigens to protect against carbon tetrachloride-induced liver and kidney damage in rats and evaluated their antioxidant ***:The antioxidant activity of the total extract and fractions(petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,and aqueous)of Gazania rigens was examined using 2,2’-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging and phosphomolybdate assays,and their total phenolic and flavonoid contents were *** hepatoprotective and nephroprotective potentials were studied at a dose of 300 mg/kg for six consecutive days followed by induction of hepatorenal injury using carbon tetrachloride single dose(1.5 mL/kg,1:1 v/v in olive oil,intraperitoneal)the next ***:The results revealed the potent hepato and nephroprotective effects of ethyl acetate and aqueous fractions by significantly(P<0.01 or P<0.001)reducing the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,total bilirubin,creatinine,urea,triglycerides,cholesterol,and lactate dehydrogenase,along with elevated serum albumin *** improvement of hepatic and renal antioxidant capacities and catalase activities,together with the prominent reduction of hepatic and renal malondialdehyde contents,were confirmed by histopathological ***:The potent hepatoprotective and nephroprotective effects of the total extract and different fractions of Gazania rigens may be attributed to the presence of highly phenolic and flavonoid compounds along with their complementary antioxidant scavenging properties.

The Effect of Percutaneous Screw Fixation of Lateral Malleolus on Ankle Fracture Healing and Function

Purpose: To measure the effectiveness of using percutaneous intramedullary screw fixation of the lateral malleolus fracture on the healing and functional outcome of ankle fracture. Materials and methods: Forty-six patients with Weber A and low Weber B displaced lateral malleolus fractures who underwent closed reduction and percutaneous internal fixation with an intramedullary, fully threaded, screw were retrospectively reviewed. A 3.5-mm, fully threaded, selftapping bone screw (stainless steel from Pelvic Set Synthes). The length of the screw varies between 100 mm and 120 mm, depending on the fracture location and pattern. Results: All fractures united within an average time to union of 8.2 weeks. In all patients the average time to full weight bearing was 6.8 weeks, whereas that in patients with isolated lateral malleolus fractures was 4.5 weeks. There were no deep wound infections or complaints of painful hardware. At latest follow-up, functional results were excellent in, 25 patients (54.3%) good in 20 (43.5%), fair in (2.2%). Conclusion: If reduction of the lateral malleolus fracture can be obtained in a closed fashion (with the aid of an image x-ray intensifier), we believe that fixation may be performed with an axial screw percutaneously. This technique is quick, safe and easy to do with less complication.

This paper presents a dual band Band Pass Filter (BPF) operating at both the downlink and uplink frequency bands for Ku-band satellite applications. The commonly used frequency band in mobile communications satellites is the Ku-band. These mobile satellite systems help connect remote regions, vehicles, ships, people and aircraft to other parts of the world and/or other mobile or stationary communications units, in addition to serving as navigation systems. The structure of the proposed filter is based on parallel coupled microstrip lines and four sections are used. Tuning the two operational bands can be achieved using two open-circuited stubs at the first and last sections of the parallel coupled microstrip lines. The proposed filter is adjusted to operate at 12.54 GHz and 14.14 GHz for downlink and uplink bands, respectively. The proposed dual band BPF is fabricated, measured, and good agreement is obtained between simulated and measured results.

This paper presents a proposed low cost high efficiency solar cell structure. The main advantage of the structure is that it is etched through a p + silicon wafer. Highly doped silicon is considered to be low quality and impure silicon therefore the structure based on low cost starting material. In addition, the proposed structure is etched as strips through the wafer so its series resistance is very low. This result in high fill factor. Simulations for the structure are carried out using advanced TCAD tools. I - V C/C'S is presented. The open circuit voltage (V oc ), short circuit current density (J sc ), fill factor (F.F) and conversion efficiency are calculated. The output results are compared with the high efficiency;high cost single crystalline solar cells. In addition, an important study is carried out to enhance the structure to be responded to the ultraviolet part of the solar radiation spectrum. For this study, external quantum efficiency is presented as this is the best way for measuring the structure performance for each part of the input solar radiation spectrum.
