From Hölder Continuous Solutions of 3D Incompressible Navier-Stokes equations to No-Finite Time Blowup on [ 0,∞ ]

This article gives a general model using specific periodic special functions, that is, degenerate elliptic Weierstrass P functions composed with the LambertW function, whose presence in the governing equations through the forcing terms simplify the periodic Navier Stokes equations (PNS) at the centers of arbitrary r balls of the 3-Torus. The continuity equation is satisfied together with spatially periodic boundary conditions. The yicomponent forcing terms consist of a function F as part of its expression that is arbitrarily small in an r ball where it is associated with a singular forcing expression both for inviscid and viscous cases. As a result, a significant simplification occurs with a v3(vifor all velocity components) only governing PDe resulting. The extension of three restricted subspaces in each of the principal directions in the Cartesian plane is shown as the Cartesian product ℋ=Jx,t×Jy,t×Jz,t. On each of these subspaces vi,i=1,2,3is continuous and there exists a linear independent subspace associated with the argument of the W function. Here the 3-Torus is built up from each compact segment of length 2R on each of the axes on the 3 principal directions x, y, and z. The form of the scaled velocities for non zero scaled δis related to the definition of the W function such that e−W(ξ)=W(ξ)ξwhere ξdepends on t and proportional to δ→0for infinite time t. The ratio Wξis equal to 1, making the limit δ→0finite and well defined. Considering r balls where the function F=(x−ai)2+(y−bi)2+(z−ci)2−ηset equal to −1e+rwhere r>0. is such that the forcing is singular at every distance r of centres of cubes each containing an r-ball. At the centre of the balls, the forcing is infinite. The main idea is that a system of singular initial value problems with infinite forcing is to be solved for where the velocities are shown to be locally Hölder continuous. We have read with interest the article by Crinier et *** a comprehensive single-cell RNA sequencing dataset of human bone marrow natural killer(NK)cells from eight healthy donors.1 Their unbiased analysis resulted in the identification of three NK cell populations in bone marrow:hNK_Bm1,hNK_Bm2 and hNK_*** populations correspond to the NK cell populations that the authors previously described in human spleen:hNK_Spl1,hNK_Sp2 and hNK_Sp3.2 The authors compared the gene signatures of the three bone marrow populations to the conventional CD56bright and CD56dim NK cells in the blood and concluded that hNK_Bm1 cells resemble CD56dim NK cells,hNK_Bm2 cells correspond to CD56bright NK cells,and hNK_Bm3 represent a CD56bright tissue-resident NK cell population that is not present in the blood.

Kalligrammatid Lacewings from the Upper Jurassic Daohugou Formation in Inner Mongolia, China

A new species, referable to a new genus, is erected, and named the Sinokalligramma jurassicum gen. et sp. nov. It is the second finding of kalligrammatids in the Daohugou Formation. The origin and migration of the family Kalligrammatidae are discussed. The geological age and stratigraphic correlation of the Daohugou and Karabastau Formations are briefly reviewed and reassessed.

Using the methods of transmission electron microscopy, the carbide phase evolution in surface layers of the differentiallyquenched rails is studied after the passed tonnage of 691.8 million tons at the depth up to 10 mm along the central axis andfillet of rail head. The action of two mutual supplement mechanisms of steel carbide phase transformation in surface layersat rail operation is established：（1） cutting mechanism of cementite particles with the following departure in the volume offerrite grains or plates （in pearlite structure）; （2） cutting mechanism and following dissolution of cementite particles,transfer of carbon atoms on dislocations （in Cottrell atmospheres and dislocation cores）, transfer of carbon atoms bymoving dislocations into ferrite grains volume （or plates） with the following repeated formation of nanosized cementiteparticles. The first mechanism is accompanied by the change in linear sizes and morphology of carbide particles. Cementiteelement composition change is not essential. Carbide structure change can take place during the second mechanism.

The common language of space:a way of looking at the social,economic and environmental functioning of cities on a common basis

This paper proposes that in addition to urban research which seeks to provide answers to policy questions, there is also a need for research which directly addresses the physical and spatial complexity of the built environment itself, and explores any effects it may in itself have on the functioning of the urban system. This type of research reflects the questions architects and urban designers typically ask, rather than those that preoccupy planners. For such research to be effective, the physical complexity variable must be controlled at the level at which real design decisions are made. “Space syntax” research attempts to do this by treating built environments as systems of space, analysing them “configurationally”, and trying to bring to light their underlying patterns and structures. Results from space syntax research into many aspects of urban space and how it works show a consistency which suggests that analysing spacial structure can be a general means of investigating the structure and function of cities. It may, in effect, be the common language of the city.

Relativity and the Solar Wind: The Maxwell-equation Origins of the Solar-Wind Motional electric Field

The motional electric field of the solar wind as seen by the earth is examined theoretically and with spacecraft measurements. As it flows outward from the sun, the solar-wind plasma carries a spatially structured magnetic field with it. To calculate the motional electric field of the solar wind the spatially structured magnetic field is Lorentz transformed;for a full physical understanding, it is also necessary to Lorentz transform the current densities and charge densities in the solar wind. Referring to Maxwell’s equations, two related questions are asked: 1) Is the source of the solar-wind motional electric field charge density in the solar wind, time derivatives of current densities in the solar wind, or both? 2) Is the solar-wind motional electric field at earth an electrostatic field, an induction field, or a superposition of the two? A Helmholtz decomposition of the motional electric field of the solar wind is made into a divergence-origin (electrostatic) and a curl-origin (induction) electric field. The global electric field associated with the outward advection of the global Parker-spiral magnetic field is found to be electrostatic with its origin being a distributed charge density in the solar-wind plasma. The electrostatic versus induction nature of the time-varying electric field associated with the advection of mesoscale magnetic structure varies with time as differently shaped magnetic structures in the solar-wind plasma pass the earth;the mesoscale structure of the solar-wind plasma contains sheets of space charge and sheets wherein the current density has nonzero time derivatives.

Corrosion Inhibition of Carbon Steel in Hot Hydrochloric Acid Solutions

The dissolution of carbon steel in 5% HCl in the temperature range of 30~90℃ was inhibited by two organic compounds having the general formula: ClR NH2(CH2)n NH2 RCl where R is a benzyl group. The behaviour of these inhibitors in acidic medium were investigated using weight loss method, open circuit potential and linear polarization technique. These inhibitors provided satisfactory corrosion inhibition for carbon steel in hydrochloric acid solutions even at higher temperature and acid concentration (10%). The electrochemical results showed that the polarization resistance (Rp) values increased with increasing inhibitor concentration, also the corrosion current decreased and a higher inhibition efficiency was obtained. The protective properties of these two organic inhibitors were attributed to the chemisorption mechanism

Objective: FemaleMcoln1-/- mice exhibit progressive progesterone (P4) deficiency, luteal cell degeneration, and premature embryo implantation failure at 5 months old. We attempted to rescue embryo implantation in non-virginMcoln1-/- mice (5-6 months old) with exogenous P4 treatment on days 1.5 post-coitum (D1.5), D2.5, and D3.5, and observed partially restored luteal cell morphology on D4.5, but unexpectedly found 17β-estradiol (e2) contamination in the P4 working solution. In this study, we aim to investigate exogenous P4 and/or e2 for the partial recovery of luteal cell morphology in infertileMcoln1-/- ***: Control and non-virginMcoln1-/- mice (5-6 months old) were treated with newly ordered vehicle, P4, e2, or P4 + e2 on D1.5 and D2.5 and dissected on D3.5 for P4 and e2 measurements, ovary histology, immunofluorescence, lipid droplet staining, and transmission electron ***: e2 treatment significantly increased serum P4 levels in D3.5Mcoln1-/- mice. e2 and P4 + e2 treatments, but not P4 treatment alone, largely improved the morphology of D3.5Mcoln1-/- corpora lutea, indicated by a more contiguous web-like collagen IV expression pattern, increased heat shock protein 60 expression, and reduced accumulation of large lipid droplets. Transmission electron microscopy revealed extremely enlarged autophagosomes and lipid droplets, lysosomes with lamellar structures, and mitochondria with reduced cristae in vehicle-treated D3.5Mcoln1-/- luteal cells, while in e2-treated D3.5Mcoln1-/- luteal cells, extremely enlarged autophagosomes and lipid droplets were reduced, indicating improved luteal cell ***: These findings reveal protective effects of high levels of exogenous e2 on P4 production and lysosomal function inMcoln1-/- luteal cells.
