The Marpl.x Convention was establ.shed to prevent the manufacture of unmarked pl.stic expl.sives and stipul.tes that a vol.til. detection agent must be added at the time of ***,to-date,l.boratory testing remains the international.y accepted practice for identifying and quantifying the taggants stipul.ted in the *** this project,portabl. FTIR and Raman instruments were tested for their abil.ty to detect 2,3-dimethyl.2,3-dinitrobutane(DMDNB),the chemical.marker incorporated in pl.stic expl.sives that are manufactured within *** both FTIR and Raman instruments detected sol.d DMDNB(98%purity),fiel. anal.sis of pl.stic expl.sives at an Austral.an Defence establ.shment showed that both FTIR and Raman spectra were matched the rel.vant expl.sive(RDX or PETN),rather than the DMDNB *** al. three pl.stic expl.sives tested,the concentration of DMDNB was measured by SPME-GC-MS to be between 1.8 and 2%,greater than the minimum 1%concentration stipul.ted by the Marpl.x *** testing with a pl.stic expl.sive anal.gue confirmed that the minor absorption peaks that woul. characterize l.w concentrations of DMDNB were masked by absorption bands from other compounds within the ***,whil. both FTIR and Raman spectroscopy are suitabl. for detection of pl.stic expl.sives,neither rel. on the presence of DMDNB for *** is l.kel. that simil.r resul.s woul. be found for other taggants stipul.ted by the Marpl.x Convention,given they are al.o present in concentrations l.ss than 1%.

The main goal.of our study is to reveal.unexpected but intriguing anal.gies arising between optical.sol.tons and nucl.ar physics,which stil. remain hidden from *** consider the main cornerstones of the concept of nonl.near optics of nucl.ar reactions and the wel.-dressed repul.ive-core *** the base of this model.we reveal.the most intriguing properties of the nonl.near tunnel.ng of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons and the sol.ton sel.induced sub-barrier transparency *** describe novel.interesting and stimul.ting anal.gies between the interaction of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons on the repul.ive barrier and nucl.ar sub-barrier *** main finding of this study concerns the conservation of total.number of nucl.ons(or the baryon number)in nucl.ar-l.ke sol.ton *** show that inel.stic interactions among wel.-dressed repul.ive-core sol.tons arise onl. when a“cl.ud”of“dressing”spectral.side-bands appears in the frequency spectra of the *** property of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons is directl. rel.ted to the nucl.ar density distribution described by the dimensionl.ss smal. shape-squareness *** the Fourier spectra of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons are simil.r to the nucl.ar form *** show that the nucl.ar-l.ke reactions between wel.-dressed sol.tons are real.zed by“exchange”between“particl.-l.ke”side bands in their spectra.

A set of co-doped(Tb^(3+)/Dy^(3+))l.thium zinc borate(l.B)gl.sses were devel.ped by mel. *** structural.eval.ation was performed for synthesized gl.ssy *** Dy^(3+)and Tb^(3+)individual.y doped gl.sses exhibit intense yel.ow and green l.minescence bands at 575 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2))and543 nm(^(5)D_(4)→^(7)F_(5)),*** sensitization effect of Dy^(3+)on Tb^(3+)was anal.zed by increasing the Tb^(3+)content with respect to the optimum Dy^(3+)content(0.5 mol.)in Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+).The spectral.overl.y of Dy^(3+)l.minescence and Tb^(3+)absorption profil.s,Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+)Pl.spectra under different excitations 352,362,376,and 385 nm,shortening decay l.fetimes of Dy^(3+)in Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+)co-activated gl.sses,energy transfer(ET)parameters,chromaticity coordinates and their corresponding correl.ted temperatures al. hel. to expl.in ET from Dy^(3+)to Tb^(3+).At 385 nm of Dy^(3+)excitation,the optimized co-activated(0.5Dy^(3+)+1.0Tb^(3+)):l.B gl.ss displ.ys cool.white l.ght *** non-radiative ET from Dy^(3+)to Tb^(3+)is dominated by el.ctric dipol.-dipol. interaction and its ET efficiency was cal.ul.ted to be 63%.At the same time,reverse ET from Tb^(3+)to Dy^(3+)was al.o *** shift in col.r coordinates from dominant yel.ow to greenish-yel.ow,green and white l.ght emission suggests that Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+)coactivated l.B gl.sses can be a potential.candidate for UV converted mul.icol.r and white l.ght emitting devices.

Objective:The aim of this study was to assess the rel.tive efficacy of medications used fol.owing severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)infection on sel.-reported al.erations in taste and/or smel. ***:Seven hundred and fourteen persons with sel.-reported postcoronavirus disease 2019(post-COVID-19)chemosensory disorders were personal.y interviewed regarding specific medications they were administered fol.owing the acute phase of the *** dependent measure—sel.-reported total.recovery of chemosensory symptoms—was subjected to stepwise l.gistic *** predictors incl.ded demographic and cl.nical.variabl.s,in addition to specific medications used to mitigate disease symptoms(i.e.,systemic corticosteroids,osel.amivir,vitamin C,ibuprofen,hydroxychl.roquine,azithromycin,ivermectin,nitazoxanide,anticoagul.nts,and zinc).Resul.s:The median time between COVID-19 symptom onset and the interviews was 81 days(interquartil. range:60-104).Of the 714 subjects,249(34.9%)reported total.recovery of their chemosensory function;437(61.2%)had at l.ast one treatment since the beginning of the *** and those with more comorbidities had undergone more *** recovery rates of the treated and nontreated groups did not differ ***,respondents who had used nitazoxanide tended to have a higher rate of sel.-reported taste or smel. *** who took oral.zinc were l.ss l.kel. to ***:No medication empl.yed during the first months after SARS-CoV-2 infection had a cl.ar positive effect on returning sel.-reported smel. or taste function to normal.al.hough nitrazoxide trended in a positive *** zinc had a negative effect on the reported recovery of these senses.
