AIM:To focus on different visual resolution tasks under photopic and mesopic conditions in sjogren’s syndrome patients compared to age-matched healthy ***:The visual resolution measurements included high and low visual acuities and contrast sensitivity *** tests were conducted under photopic and then mesopic ***-one sjögren’s syndrome patients and 21 aged-matched healthy volunteers completed all the measurements in this ***:sjogren’s syndrome patients have greater impairment in contrast sensitivity than standardized visual *** reduction was significant under the mesopic ***,sjogren’s syndrome patients treated with pilocarpine suffer more than patients without pilocarpine treatment under low light ***:sjogren’s syndrome patients shows greater impairment in different visual resolution tasks due to dry eye symptoms.

The conversion of carbon dioxide into value-added products is of great industrial and environmental interest. However, as carbon dioxide is relatively stable, the input energy required for this conversion is a significant limiting factor in the system's performance. By utilising energy from the sun, through a range of key routes, this limitation can be overcome. In this review, we present a comprehensive and critical overview of the potential routes to harvest the sun's energy, primarily through solar-thermal technologies and plasmonic resonance effects. Focusing on the localised heating approach, this review shortlists and compares viable catalysts for the photo-thermal catalytic conversion of carbon ***, the pathways and potential products of different carbon dioxide conversion routes are outlined with the reverse water gas shift,methanation, and methanol synthesis being of key interest. Finally, the challenges in implementing such systems and the outlook to the future are detailed.

The biomedical data classification process has received significant attention in recent times due to a massive increase in the generation of healthcare data from various *** developments of artificial intelligence(AI)and machine learning(ML)models assist in the effectual design of medical data classification ***,this article concentrates on the development of optimal stacked Long short Term Memory sequence-tosequence Autoencoder(OsAE-LsTM)model for biomedical data *** presented OsAE-LsTM model intends to classify the biomedical data for the existence of ***,the OsAE-LsTM model involves min-max normalization based pre-processing to scale the data into uniform *** by,the sAE-LsTM model is utilized for the detection and classification of diseases in biomedical *** last,manta ray foraging optimization(MRFO)algorithm has been employed for hyperparameter optimization *** utilization of MRFO algorithm assists in optimal selection of hypermeters involved in the sAE-LsTM *** simulation analysis of the OsAE-LsTM model has been tested using a set of benchmark medical datasets and the results reported the improvements of the OsAELsTM model over the other approaches under several dimensions.

One pot criss-cross cycloaddition reaction of substituted 2,3-diaz-1,3-butadienes (strong>1strong>) and/or (strong>2strong>) with two equivalents of 2,3-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinone in presence of dry benzene afforded bisnaphth[2,3-c]pyrazolidinetetrone derivatives (strong>3strong>) & (strong>4strong>). The chemical structure was achieved by elemental and spectral analysis. Biological activity of the synthesized compounds was tested against some micro-organisms, and has shown an interesting fungicidal activity and strongly to remarkable bactericidal activity.

A photovoltaic(PV)inverter is a vital component of a photovoltaic(PV)solar ***(PV)inverter failure can mean a solar system that is no longer *** electronic devices such as photovoltaic(PV)inverter devices are subjected to vapor condensation,a risk could *** the amount of moisture in the air,saturation occurswhen the temperature drops to the dewpoint,and condensationmay formon *** simulation with“COMsOL software”is important for obtaining knowledge relevant to preventing condensation by using two *** first,the assumption was that the device’s water vapor concentration was homogeneous to evaluate the amount of liquid water accumulated on the internal walls of the photovoltaic(PV)inverter ***,by considering the effect of external wind velocity onmoisture transport at the air interface to evaluate water vapor transport outdoors and reduce *** factorial designs are utilized for analyzing the nature of the relationship between the vapor condensation response and the *** vapor condensation inside the solar inverter by the effect of external wind speed on diffusion as a process of transporting moister air outside the inverter box is the main solution for this *** the movement and assessment of the flow of water vapor,the impact of vapor condensation is *** saturation period was determined by using a Boolean saturation *** saturation indicator was set to 1 when saturation was detected(relative humidity greater than or equal to 1)and 0 *** the flow and dispersion of moist air as a function of wind speed helped solve the problem.

The present paper explains the temperature attribute of a convective-radiative rectangular profiled annular fin with the impact of magnetic *** effect of thermal radiation,convection,and magnetic field on thermal stress distribution is also studied in this *** governing energy equation representing the steady-state heat conduction,convection,and radiation process is transformed into its dimensionless nonlinear ordinary differential equation(ODE)with corresponding boundary conditions using non-dimensional *** obtained ODE is then solved analytically by employing the Pade approximant-differential transform method(DTM)and modified residual power series method(MRPsM).Moreover,the important characteristics of the temperature field,the thermal stress,and the impact of some nondimensional parameters are inspected graphically,and a physical explanation is provided to aid in *** significant findings of the investigation reveal that temperature distribution enhances with an increase in the magnitude of the heat generation parameter and thermal conductivity parameter,but it gradually decreases with an increment of convectiveconductive parameter,Hartmann number,and radiative-conductive *** thermal stress distribution of the fin varies considerably in the applied magnetic field effect.

A model is developed to enable estimation of chloramine demand in full scale drinking water supplies based on chemical and microbiological factors that affect chloramine decay rate via nonlinear regression analysis *** model is based on organic character（specific ultraviolet absorbance（sUVA）） of the water samples and a laboratory measure of the microbiological（Fm） decay of *** applicability of the model for estimation of chloramine residual（and hence chloramine demand） was tested on several waters from different water treatment plants in Australia through statistical test analysis between the experimental and predicted *** showed that the model was able to simulate and estimate chloramine demand at various times in real drinking water *** elucidate the loss of chloramine over the wide variation of water quality used in this study,the model incorporates both the fast and slow chloramine decay *** significance of estimated fast and slow decay rate constants as the kinetic parameters of the model for three water sources in Australia was *** was found that with the same water source,the kinetic parameters remain the *** modelling approach has the potential to be used by water treatment operators as a decision support tool in order to manage chloramine disinfection.

The Prevalence and Risk Factors of Elder Abuse during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Fayoum Governorate,Egypt

Background: Elder abuse has evolved into a global public health and human rights issue. COVID-19 had a significant impact on Egypt’s economic development and style of life. Aim: This research aimed to estimate the prevalence of elder abuse in the Fayoum Governorate of Egypt during the COVID-19 pandemic and assess the prevalence of different elder abuse subtypes and study the effect of different demographic characteristics on these abuse subtypes. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional, descriptive survey among 201 older adults aged 60 and above in the Fayoum Governorate. The structured questionnaire used in the study had three sections: demographic characteristics, the Hwalek- sengstock elder abuse screening test, and the Questions to Elicit Elder Abuse screening tool. Results: This research documented that the prevalence of elder abuse was (72.6%) and the most prevalent types were emotional and neglect abuse (71.1% and 64.7%, respectively). In our study, 22.9% of older adults were exposed to a single type of abuse, 29.9% to two types, 26.9% to three types, and 10.4% to four types. Female is significantly higher than male abuse exposure (66.7% vs. 33.3%). 52.4% versus 7.1% were more likely to be abused than elderly persons who earn enough income. Conclusion: According to this study, emotional and neglect abuse were the most common types of elder abuse. Risk factors for elder abuse included being between the ages of 60 and 70 years, being a woman, residing in a rural location, being illiterate, jobless, married, earning little money, and belonging to a middle-class socioeconomic group. For the general public to better comprehend the consequences of elder abuse on their health and human rights, awareness and education must be increased.
